Hey brother! So there is this concept of 'ugly ads' going around. Which I believe has merit, some of the best performing content and ads online are ones shot on an iPhone, cheap and easy. I don't like calling my videos ugly though... so soulful is what we are calling it. It is also personal preference and intuition. I am sick of seeing overly produced content now. I think people are waking up to attention manipulation tactics. Possibly also in response to waves of generic Ai content. I see two possible paths, one side we will see more Ai content and then the other, will be more raw and authentic videos. Thats my hope and what I'm hedging my bets on. It also saves loads of time and is far easier to create. Lastly, Kanye's Super Bowl ad, which is borderline insane, is a good example of how the message and delivery matters more than slick visuals.
Right on brother
Luke, I dig this. I hope it's true! Taking your invitation to conversation.
What are you seeing specifically that makes you say this?
