Amazing informative footage. One more unique aspect of this Airport is that it's located near Aluva Railway line & offers great views of Airport on the moving train. I am always waiting to have glimpse of Airport here while returning from Chengannur to Bangalore on my Sabarimala pilgrimage return.

@@aerowanderer Haha yeah true, really can't complain about plane spotting at AMS. Seems that compared to other airports we don't have many fences that are blocking the view to the runways and taxiways.
Wow , nice shots of planes. Wish Indian airports allowed and encouraged Plane spotters. Here in Belgium, they even spend 1000's of Euros to built Spotting platforms at three or four different locations at Brussels airport. Spotters come there with their picnic baskets with food and drinks..spend hours there...both men , women children. I must be the only Malayalee going there! Lol😁😁. My house is just 1 km or less from Trivandrum international airport...so sometimes go there as well.
Absolutely. The plane spotting culture in the west is totally different from what we have here. It’s more a culture of plane spotting in the west. Though I hope we Indian airports can incorporate something similar in a regulated manner. That’s fantastic to know. Hope to visit Trivandrum soon. Kochi will be my favourite airport as I took my first flight of air deccan to chennai. This airport has affordable and cheaper snacks counter and probably has the least UDF. I hope iam right

Hi, there is any law or prohibition by local authority to prevent such video shoot of airports/runways/planes? ( In my opinion it's not and should not be there, exception for Pune airport from inside) do u face any such restrictions while filming? if yes how to avoid? how u manage it?

One more thing, it is located near one of the main river of India, The Periyar River.
