You're bringing more of my interest to playing 1 pocket with these vids 👍
I’m glad to hear it. That is part of the purpose.
Great video . The greatest game on a pool table
Thank you. Agreed. 1P is awesome for people with the patience and ability to play or appreciate it.
Great video!
Thanks! This was the last of the free VEOP excerpts.
Option 4 👍
Another great video. Thanks.
Thank you, and you’re welcome. I aim to swerve. :)
@@DrDaveBilliards me too I have since I was a little squirt, not should deflect from what you were saying
Not to deflect, sorry, but I'm very old
Best options are banking the 2 on your side and keeping behind the 1. Can you see the 1 to bank it into the low side of the 3 and draw cueball up side rail behind stack?
For opposite pocket on option 4 the combo is best option. The bank layout looks different from option 4 to the second cut/edit. Bank seems to be laying different but still like the combo. It’s a game winner and not a losing shot.
Or bank to the into the underside of the 9 drawing the rock off bottom rail behind the 3 🤔
@@scottbacci8933 Good points. We probably should have shown more options. Obviously, the “best” option will depend on the player and the exact ball positions.
@@DrDaveBilliards love the one pocket videos
You should commentate some 1p match
What’s the score, Dave.. It doesn’t matter to much in this situation as much, but every scenario should start with the ball count, because it does make a huge difference..
One pocket is about risk versus reward, and trust me the goals change accordingly..
Good point.
If I was left in that exact spot, I would try to jump over two to attempt to pocket the one, either:
A) As an bank shot if my pocket is to the right
B) Cut it in if my pocket is to the left.
With your playing cue? Jump cues are not allowed in 1P.

Break cue.
@@MillionaireWizard One pocket is usually played with a playing cue only. I guess if you use the break cue for every shot, that would be OK.
This was a bit confusing changing players and pockets.
Agreed. I should have divided and counted them differently. Although, it helps that we always highlight the active pocket.
