    You're truly making a facing pair if one twists clockwise and the other twists counterclickwise. Yours looks great as is, though, because the main design elements reflect light so nicely. Love the rich copper look. Lots of terrific copper jewelry was made in the 50s. Also many metal combinations In an art breakaway from traditional jewelry and the leap into modern art.

    I use $1 store scissors to cut sheet metal. A pair can last a few years. Save $$ for more beads!

      yeah, my daughter's children's scissors can cut through thin metal and wire well.

    Using sandpaper for metal might be the best option??? About the same Price as regular sandpaper and those are mainly used with water so also helps it to not get too hot

    That is cool. I am Sheet Metal worker by trade. I mainly use Galvanized Steel and Stainless Steel. I have done a little with copper sheets when I was in trade school.

    The film is to keep the metal from scratching. What gauge are you using? FyI, they make the shears in curve also.

    You are funny! I’m playing with my 36 ga sheet. Very thin. I was wrapping my tiny strip around my metal stamp. You were struggling with your pliers. I lover copper

    I found scalloped edge scissors work well for thin sheet :D had a lot of fun playing around with this :D

    A tip for smoothing the edges of a EUROPUNCH hole is to "punch" through from the other side. This usually flattens any rough edges to save extra filing.

    I get a beautiful texture with the small rounded end of a small ball peen hammer..looks great a nd patina with liver of Sulphur..soon you'll be making your own ear wires and jump rings..THESE ARE BEAUTIFUL..
