You're truly making a facing pair if one twists clockwise and the other twists counterclickwise. Yours looks great as is, though, because the main design elements reflect light so nicely. Love the rich copper look. Lots of terrific copper jewelry was made in the 50s. Also many metal combinations In an art breakaway from traditional jewelry and the leap into modern art.
That is cool. I am Sheet Metal worker by trade. I mainly use Galvanized Steel and Stainless Steel. I have done a little with copper sheets when I was in trade school.
You are funny! I’m playing with my 36 ga sheet. Very thin. I was wrapping my tiny strip around my metal stamp. You were struggling with your pliers. I lover copper
Using sandpaper for metal might be the best option??? About the same Price as regular sandpaper and those are mainly used with water so also helps it to not get too hot
A tip for smoothing the edges of a EUROPUNCH hole is to "punch" through from the other side. This usually flattens any rough edges to save extra filing.
I get a beautiful texture with the small rounded end of a small ball peen hammer..looks great a nd patina with liver of Sulphur..soon you'll be making your own ear wires and jump rings..THESE ARE BEAUTIFUL..
I like the earrings and your designs however, I don’t think I can do that, let me change that cuz I don’t like to say I can’t, I don’t feel so inspired at this time.😊
Loved it! Giggled till it hurt!
Me too!..lololol
I use $1 store scissors to cut sheet metal. A pair can last a few years. Save $$ for more beads!
Good to know! Thanks!
yeah, my daughter's children's scissors can cut through thin metal and wire well.
Love the earrings and especially love how you give your supplies their own personalities 😉
I did this with aluminium they came out very pretty colors with alcohol inks cool
Wow ! Beautiful pieces. Thank you.
Nice to see you adhering to the hippopotamus oath of jewellery makers: do not kill people with your creations 👏🏼😂👏🏼
