Another North Carolinian here! I agree. I'm in Eastern NC, but have supported ground support from here. Hell, we had people get in there on that Tuesday evening the day after the rain stopped. More than I can say for any federal help that was mobilized two days later! Some of our crowd have been in 3 times w/ supplies.

Well I'm another person in a long line of people who were denied fema benefits and I literally have no house and no car...explain to me how fema is supposed to be doing such a good job I was denied and NEVER EVEN SPOKE TO A HUMAN BEING AT FEMA

Now I'm just waiting on the SBA to get back to me on if I got approved for the disaster loan or not since that "F" agency bounced me over to them to apply for a loan. Didn't even get the seven hundred and fifty dollars we were supposed to get. It's a shame that we're having to jump through hoops to get help. Oh...and that's not even mentioning that the SBA website says that even if we are approved for the loan that we have to wait for congress to go back in session in the middle of November to approve more funding for them to pay the loans out. So....are we just supposed to wait for months while they play politics when a lot of of us have nothing left?

Another North Carolinian here! I agree. I'm in Eastern NC, but have supported ground support from here. Hell, we had people get in there on that Tuesday evening the day after the rain stopped. More than I can say for any federal help that was mobilized two days later! Some of our crowd have been in 3 times w/ supplies.

Well I'm another person in a long line of people who were denied fema benefits and I literally have no house and no car...explain to me how fema is supposed to be doing such a good job I was denied and NEVER EVEN SPOKE TO A HUMAN BEING AT FEMA

Now I'm just waiting on the SBA to get back to me on if I got approved for the disaster loan or not since that "F" agency bounced me over to them to apply for a loan. Didn't even get the seven hundred and fifty dollars we were supposed to get. It's a shame that we're having to jump through hoops to get help. Oh...and that's not even mentioning that the SBA website says that even if we are approved for the loan that we have to wait for congress to go back in session in the middle of November to approve more funding for them to pay the loans out. So....are we just supposed to wait for months while they play politics when a lot of of us have nothing left?
