- I know there are still quite a few of these earning their keep, as well as many of the other MX series Mix-Alls. Parts are hard to find from time to time, but these machines can still be worth the investment.
Hope you enjoy the video!! - Авто та транспорт
I bought a brand new Gehl 95 in 1978. Shoveled it full of ear corn once a week for 35 years.
They had to be die hard machines to keep up with the demand. Sounds like you got every penny out of yours. Did the gearbox under the tank hold up good?
@@ikonseesmrno7300 I seem to remember replacing a bearing in it once. That was it.
Had a Gehl 100 same for me. Used a John Deere 3020 every time and on Tuesday I will be doing it again.
Love this video. Tons of these old Gehl grinder mixers still earning their keep. Great machines!
They sure are! Thanks for tuning in!
Gehl Mix All's were the best ever made! I've run 125, 135, and 170s. Easy to maintain, easy to fix, and super easy to run.
I got a Gehl 100 used about 25 years ago it is a much better mixer than the Farmhand we had.
Love it! Have a few loads to run through my MX-120 next week. Always found it a bit odd that the hydraulic drive on the 95 and 120 still kept the bevel gears on the auger bottom out of the tank, but hydraulic drove everything else. Works alot better than the mechanical drive mess they had though. I liked my NH mills the best, but had a Gehl 65 and the 120 I have now. I would be running a NH yet, but I got a building I go in and all the NH mills with hydraulic drive options are too tall, Gehl's tanks are a bit wider and shorter for the same capacity so that is why I have this 120.
We still use the original 95 that dad bought used on an auction in the 80s.
These are good, especially the father & son at the beginning with those classic hunting hats. Remember when Bobby Brady for some reason wore an orange hunting hat to Hawaii? That's like something I would've done as a kid, and I've never hunted for anything.
Great to see. I have sales brochures on these. Nice to see them in action.
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for stopping by!!
Never had a gehl but I know a couple guys that have them and they really like them. The one had a 170 and wishes they still had it instead of the arts way cattle maxx they have now.
thanks Ikon
Glad you enjoyed!!
You get copyright claims for these? I was always afraid to upload em.
Heya FF! I've gotten a copyright claim on several videos & there hasn't been any issue. There was one vid I edited to remove the song.... I think it was Freeze Frame?.... so as not to risk a major infringement & a spanking from EMI. Now, I'm not sure if a plain ol' content claim will cause you to have issues with your own monetization or not. My vids aren't monetized yet, so I can't say for sure. There are some people who post network & production music outright & still bring in cash from their channel. J&L has all those AC vids & they haven't come down yet. So, you should be ok. Should....
I remember the guy my dad still works for had a 100. I can also remember when it was traded in 1994 for a 130 and it had scales.
