Two Ways To Scalp Scrub

- Scalp exfoliation is SO important and one of those things that I don't skip because if I do, I immediately notice that my roots get oilier quicker and my dandruff can get bad.
I like to exfoliate my scalp twice a week, once with a chemical exfoliant and once with a scrub, to keep my scalp healthy and fresh. I only wash my hair about twice a week and in between, I'm using dry shampoo which can contribute to buildup on my scalp.
My favorite scalp scrub is the Purifying Scrub from @christopherobinparis. This was the first scalp scrub I've tried and honestly, nothing really comes close to this. Not only does it effectively cleanse my scalp of impurities, but it's super satisfying to feel the large flakes of sea salt turn into a hydrating lather that doesn't strip my hair. A little goes a long way and I still have the majority of the jar I purchased in December!
Another way to exfoliate your scalp is to use a chemical exfoliant. I really like using Glycolic Acid from @TheOrdinary but I've heard great things about the Salicylic Acid Scalp Treatment from @TheInkeyList which is one I want to try next!

Oh my I use the ordinary glycolic on my scalp too, & then I massage my scalp my hair is 28in long I love it!!!
how long do you leave it on the scalp for?
Do you wash it out after or leave it in?
@@Leila_sdwyes, If you leave it in your scalp, it will irritates your scalp and can cause almost like a chemical burn. I usually let it set for 15 mins bc I have a sensitive scalp but if you don’t I’d leave it for 25

You would also be okay with baby oil on your scalp
For 20 min before a shower!!!! It acts as a layer to stop dandruff it helps a lot for me and is really cheap! Ofc people have different scalps but for dry scalp this helps
Can i use glycolic acid ocer oiled scalp?.. i dont want to compromise hair oiling?

Afaik you do the scrub, rinse it out, shampoo and condition but I'm not 100% sure bcus everyone says a different order which is why I looked up videos for it c:::::::

Scalp scrub? Or just use any body/face scrub on the scalp. It's the same thing!
Uh no , most body scrubs c9natin harsh ingredients, as TGEY R FOR THE SKIN NOT scalp ,scalp are more sensitive and have dif goals for example get rid of oil now this isn't done by a bod scrub, use ur brain please

@@justminal9476 literally every scrub has surfactants to remove oil/dirt. You're so gullible, believing scalp scrubs are different than body scrubs 🤣. Marketing companies loveeee people like you that can't think for themselves because you believe everything they're advertised 🤣.
A good scalp scrub would have specific ingredients which are best for your hair and scalp, just like U wouldn’t go for a body wash as a shampoo and claim it is best.
And who are you to give scalp and skin advice? You’re not a dermatologist.
