Hi Taco. I really appreciate you showing and sharing this with us ✨. Have a great day Taco and Salsa.
Great explanation of choices! :)
I now know to check before going to a Coin Star machine. Great information.
Thank YOU Taco for the information ❤ great video 👍
Awesome free money-ish! I'm a member of a state credit union and all their branches have coin machines. No charge though. Great info in this one, thank you!!
Ours too!
Thank you. That's what I thought. I use Amazon too, but sometimes you don't want to use anyone's e-cards.
Thanks for this video Taco. Good education on Coin Star. Nice to know you can get an e card, and with no fees. Think the ones in my area now charge like a 14% fee for the cash option.
Depending what store you go to of course. Much better to get a card and for free.
There was a lot more in that jar than I thought. That's good money!
Many thanks for the explanations and tips on how best to use CoinStar! There is a machine in the supermarket where I usually shop here in Berlin, but I've never had enough small change to use it. At least now I know what to look out for.
100 dollars is a gratifying result!
The weight of the silver is less then the weight of a clad coins . Congrats on your total coinage $$$$.
Great tips for someone not knowing this👍🤓.
Stay warm taco ☕✨☕
I did not know that about coin star. Good to know about the gift card and the silver coins. Merry Christmas to you and salsa.
Thanks for this video. The last time I used coin star I got the "Card" at the service desk. Yes, it HAS been a long long time.
I put all my change in a jar and take it to a Coinstar here in England. It's like 'found' money, and always amazes me how much I gather over a year. Great video Taco - thanks for taking us along. Take care 🙂
I haven't used a coinstar machine in years. Learned some good info. Thanks!
Interesting. Good deal❣️👍😍
Pre 1982 copper pennies are worth 3 cents due to the high price of copper.
Good to know
Fun. I'm glad I caught this one.
If you have an account at a bank you should be able to deposit your coins and they run the coins through a counter. If they won't or charge a fee switch banks!
Wow, almost $100! Love it!
I was a bank teller in the eighties. We didn’t have a machine to roll the coins. We had to do it by hand. Took a while. Had to count it twice.
Great info, never used a coin machine before our local Walmart has one, I have a co worker that saves all his change and once a year on his birthday goes to the coin star machine lol
Hi Taco. It pays to be patient when collecting coins. Nice total. I never get too much change. That was fun. Thanks. Love ya
Thank you for the info about eStar!!
This was very informative, thanks! I have a 5 gallon water bottle that is 3/4 full of change that i have been saving for at least 15 years, so if that small amount was $98.00, then my jar must be well over a thousand dollars.
Great information. I wish ours had the Amazon option.
Thanks for the insight on the e-gift cards. Never knew......
My guess was $100. Great for you! 🎉
This was fun. You look awful, tired, or like you have a headache. I hope I am imagining it. I think you did pretty good there. I did think it would be more. We take our coin can in about evdry ghree months and get about $89 every time. Comes in real handy at times. Love ya! Stay safe, healthy, and blessed. 😘❤️💞💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✌️
Give Salsa a pat for me and a hug around the neck🐕🐕🦺
25 pounds ? Wow !
Terrific Taco - so informative - I guessed $35.00 - Boy I was way off! Happy Holidays to you & Salsa! $ ❤
I learned stuff today!
Watching! 💕
Pick up the red handle to make it easier loading the machine. Run your hand on the top of the machine. Sometimes people put silver coin rejects on the top. Great video!
Fun field trip!
I save my coins in a coffee cup and when it's full I either give the proceeds as a tip to a server ( I rarely Eat out) or it goes to a special project at church. I'm bringing my cup to church tomorrow for a special offering for widows and orphans at our Africa mission.
TACO, Thanks for the greatest venture you did well.!!!!!😮😮😮😮😮
I learn new things from you. I roll the coins and take them to my bank.
Nice pay out! Great info about checking ahead of time if they offer the company credit you are looking for. Enjoy your bonus
This was fun Taco🤩👏
Hello taco. Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️
Good for you.❤️🎄
Thank you so cool!!❤
I save my quarters and try to spend the smaller stuff. I've seen the other options, but didn't realize it was no charge. I'm definitely doing that option. Thanks! And good score.
WELL THANK YOU FOR THE EXPLAINING OF, HOW TO REDEeM COINS!!!!!! Do take care. Fl.
Thank you for sharing
This was informative, thankyou. I haven't used one for years, didn't know it would do all that! And good score, I thought it'd be $40-$45 😧
I was born in 1964 and yes all coins were made of silver 64 was the last year also last year baby boomer
Thank you!!!
Take Renee out to a nice dinner!
Interesting to know😊😊😊
I learned so much from your video today. I don't have much use for a CoinStar machine but now, if I do, I will have everything to make it stress free.
Hey Taco, I'm catching up with you from Cincinnati. I always enjoy saving coins to go to Coinstar.
Thank you Taco 🌮 Stacks for the coin star education!
Sharon here... thanks Taco, I learned a lot from this video that didn't know! Merry Christmas to you!🌲😊❤👍
That was very informative. And not a bad savings. Thank you for sharing 😊
Always check the tray when you see a machine. Ive gotten a good amount of silver coins that way. 😊
Hello Taco stacks, thanks for info, happy holidays from Az
Great deal on change ❤
Thanks TS!
Thanks Taco, I’ve been wondering how much you collected. I guessed $63.00.👍👏
Very cool thanks and happy holidays 🎄 🎄 🎉
Great Video!
Thanks for sharing information on those machines. I’ll have to google what and how to use a E certificate. ❤
FYI 1982 and back are 95 % copper about 7 cents per.
new 2.5 grams old 3.1grams
finding silver is an effort in futility. Always enjoy your "tacoism it could be
but maybe not. always makes me laugh.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and Salsa
Cheers
I hope you buy yourself something nice. Like some new softest long johns ever. Happy Holidays
Fun video.
Salvation Army is a wonderful organization. I’m sure didn’t mean you were only going put in two nickels . I put in a donation at the beginning of December and then feel free to walk by after that.
Very interesting ...🥰🥰
One thing to do is take a picture of the e-gift card when you get it because it's typically printed on thermal paper and if you wait a while it may fade to the point where you can't read the code anymore.
Naturally if you use it right away this is not a problem but if some time passes the print may fade on the gift card and you won't be able to use it if you can't enter that code on the website.
Wow. Your videos haven't been showing up on my feed for like 1 year. I forgot you existed.
Make sure to subscribe! I have posted a video 6 days a week every week this year!
I need to start collecting my change again! It adds up.
Thanks for the education.
Good information. Why do they have to make it so confusing about who takes what and where you have to go to get it. They should all take everything!
I hope you checked the coins for rare ones.. wheat Pennies and silver coins 1964 and older..
Fun day ✌🏻
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great information!!
Feelz gud man feelz gud
As a "coin collector" I cringe when I see a large amounts of unchecked coins. My father passed and left a large coin collection...just all lose coins, only a few coin books. Face value was about $500.00 however there were some very old and in excellent shape coins...like a 1909 vdb (no s)
Pozdrawiam serdecznie 👍👍👍
My bank in Indiana had a machine that would count my coins free of charge.
Nice!
❤I love free money 💯
I wasn't sure your store Employee was correct in saying it will reject ' silver coins ' so I googled. It does specify * " certain silver "?
Yes, Coinstar does not accept certain silver coins, including: Eisenhower silver dollars, 1943 steel pennies, Pure silver, and Commemorative or foreign coinage.
Coinstar kiosks use patented coin-counting technology that analyzes a coin's metallurgical properties instead of sorting it by size. If a coin is not recognized by the kiosk, it may not be returned to the user.
Our bank offers a FREE coin counting machine. It prints out a receipt we take to one of the tellers and collect the CASH money!
#1 tan today.
I check Coinstar reject trays when I see one I found a silver dime a while ago in a Coinstar at my grocery store i do check every Coinstar I see except Walmart they will kick you out if they catch you
I used to do that with pay phones..
@@laurabarker2233 same with vending machines , newspaper boxes , around parking meters arcade mechanics and more.
Some banks have the coin counting machines. Mine does.
Some vintage pennies are worth quite a lot.
If you dump it in the coin basket at the check out when buying your necessities you don’t lose a percentage…
Nice double what you guessed
Did you not check the pennies for any collectables ?
The silver in Kennedy half dollars was only reduced in 1965 from 90% to 40% until it was eliminated completely in 1970 so those 50 cent pieces between '65 and '70 still have collectible cash value. The Eisenhower & Franklin dollar coins follow the same percentage ratio as the dimes and quarters (90% in 1964 and earlier and 0% from 1965 on).
Do you know that you can use change at self checkouts like Home Depot. No taxing the consumer.
I hope you checked the Pennie’s for the 1943 copper, and the 1909 vdb.
Did you take the pre 82 pennies out?
Did you know coinstar machines raise their price. It is use to be 59 cents and 11.9 percent fee. Now it is cost 99 cents and 12.9 percent fee. You cause more 40 cents and 1 percent.
I used to save change back in 80s and 90s. Mostly use debit card now.
Quarters aren't placed in the coin machine. I keep them in a zipper bag.
OUR BANK HAS A MACHINE AND DOESNT CHARGE NOTHING. CLEARFIELD pa😊😊😊😊
I worked with a gal from Clearfield. Jackie Lawhead Baldwin. Do you know her?
@laurabarker2233 was that at the bank. What bank
@@sharonjosefik766 No bank. She's from Clearfield so I thought you may know her family.
@laurabarker2233 I do know a Jackie and she works in a bank but I don't know her last name. Our bank is in Clearfield and we live in Lanse. Where did you all work in Clearfield

You look at all coins before you cash them in ?
