Excellent video guys! We're looking into that underside slot placement. And the standard carpenter set has everything you mentioned on that LH bag. It's basically a tradeoff for the extra pouch. Whrn the time comes for your next set, we can customize to suit since you've had time to dial things in with a standard set. We appreciate the time taken to give your impressions!
Awesome video man, I use occidental and I couldn't see myself getting diamondbacks but Badger bags have been what i've been thinking about, thanks for the info!
The new Ox 2.0 and mule 2.0 and the SXS Diamondback pouches have much more room. I used the miter and talon and totally agree with you that they were too narrow
I had Diamondbacks, was not impressed. Especially now I feel like they've become overpriced. The 6" belt would usually slide down off where it was supposed to be worn even when wearing the correct size belt. I switched to Akribis Leather 8 months back and I couldn't be happier. It's each to their own for this kind of stuff though.
I bought a Diamond Back tool belt a year ago.Is an amazing, top quality product but the pouches are too tight and because of that I am moderately happy.Badger tool belts not seem to have this issue.May be I should have bought one of them.
Are you concerned about how large /low hanging these bags are? I've worn oxy light framers for probably 15 plus years bc they don't get in the way , i like what these bags seem to offer but i feel like they might be roughly the same size as the oxy fatlip framers which are much to big to be climbing around and moving in...imo. thoughts?
My badgers are much smaller profile than my occie pro framers that I also love! The badger belt also tends to sit slightly higher than the Occidental belt, so it brings them higher up as well
hows the belt to adjust if you chuck another layer on ? looks like a bit of a mare to adjust, i feel like a normal belt would be hella easier. good review tho mate keep it up
Nice! I wouldn't mind one of those myself. Where can I get a hold it? Is there a product name exactly, or is it like a custom build kind of belt? I reckon I must be about the same size of waist like you - how many inches do you use? Cheers!
Can the bags be bought single rather than the whole damn belt system? I just need the fastener bag. I looked on their website and I can’t find anywhere how to get single bags 😅
@@Coffmanconstructioni’m a 28” waist as well. Did you order the smalls? Did you have to fully crank the belt to fit? My current leather belt is in great shape but i’m looking to upgrade for many reasons. Fitting being one of them.

You’re the best Joel! That’s what sets you guys apart
Just sent my fastener side in for a dual bar sleeve retrofit. Can't wait to get them back!
What’s the turnaround for that??
@@MillennialCarpenter Did you send that to Indiana or California?
@@Coffmanconstruction we can always do that quickly, couple of days

Let the fact that occidental just bought their company be a testament to the fact of how good they are!

Good review! I like the Q&A type format.
Nice video, I just picked up my set last week, love them so far!
Great video, Love the question and answer too, those are the same questions I would have asked!
Awesome! Thank you!

Forgot to mention they look cool 🤙

That’s exactly how I felt when I had my Diamondbacks
Just ordered mine! Made sure to get the gun loop accessory with it too
Are the pouches removal? Like to put onto a harness?
Yes sir! They are totally removable like any toolbags 👍
Nice video! And what size of badger tool belt are you using?

These are the carpenter side by side bags from badger!
What size belt did you choose? We have the same frame, and im a little hesitant to go small or medium.
I wear a small almost maxed out as tight as it goes!
@Coffmanconstruction sweet thank you so much! Excited to upgrade from my home depot bags.
Awesome video Jarod! I actually just ordered my first set of badgers! How long did it take to get them once you ordered them?
Well I got them before they had upscaled! I waited a few months. But people nowadays it’s only a few days!
Awesome! Thanks! Really appreciate the content! Great to see young guys like myself out in the trades! Keep up the great work!
Check out tru gear tool belts

Coole Video !!
BUt how heavey is it ...iam getting tied of luggin my oxs around to dam heavey and bulky as to wide to fit between framing and iam supper thin
Same here. I’m a 28” waist. They’re SUPER light. At least half the weight of a leather setup if not more

@@LegendaryGoetz the belt is pretty tight but not quite as tight as it goes
What size did you get on the badger ?
How do you like the boss paw?
It’s great! I do wish it was about 2” longer though…
