    Sir, I tried it. But I did 1 thing extra. I left the chicken with 2nd marination overnight in the fridge and then put it in oven next day.... believe me it came out awesome... 😊 thank you for this wonderful receipe.

    • @anitosh
      @anitosh 6 років тому +1

      Srujan Sriadibhatla overnight marination is not required as long as you put lemon. With lemon and long marination may turn out to be bitter. Careful.

    I'm 16 , and always hated cooking ...and as usual my family thought I should learn...However I was adamant not to. One day , a relative showed me your simple mango milkshake which was something I loved...I was curious to see more ...soon I spent most of my free time on your channel.... It was not just your recipes but also the way you communicate to your audience...I finally ended up telling mum. ..not to do the cooking this Sunday...I'm going to make one off chef sanjay s dishes....Thank you vah chef...you guys have inspired to do some thing I thought I never would:)

    Hi Chef Sanjev, as I watch your videos, I am just watching and educating myself of the recipes that you make, and as I purchase the engredients, I also like it that I contribute to the economy of India ... and, as I notice, my life has become more "blooming" and "lively" , having to receive a lot of blessings from your gods and goddesses, and especially Bhudda ... and lot of knowledge, not only on Indian Spiritualism, but also with the "delicious" Indian food! I love India and the Indian People!

    Great recipe I made this today and my family loved it! I tweaked it a little bit since I don't have all the spices on hand
    I used salt, coriander, black pepper but no chillies since my little one can't eat that and I added one tea spoon of curry and it turned out amazing!

    Thanks Chef! I made this using Greek yogurt, which gave the marinate a sort of clay-like consistency, and I added a Tbsp. or so of Sriracha because I couldn't find Thai chili paste. WOW!!! That's some spicy tandoori chicken! Spicy enough at first bite to let you know it's spicy, and yet in the right proportion to make you want much, much more. If you've got a kamado grill, I recommend using it and its ability to achieve a higher cooking temperature.

    Thank You VahChef for teaching this recipe and helping my expose my family to Indian food (which I love). I have used this recipe many many times in my own home and my kids absolutely love it. I change it up by smoking the chicken over wood at 275* instead of baking or grilling, I also add a small amount of paprika, but essentially this is the recipe I use. Thanks again !

    Inspired after having eaten Tandori chicken at a local restaurant in New Zealand, I went to the internet looking for a recipe. But not just 'any' recipe... I wanted one from a genuine Indian. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this recipe up. I've yet to try it... there are so many variations when I look on line, it's hard to know where to start. But I think ... I'll start here. Watching you eat it at the end is just the killer!

    White meat and dark meat have to do with the muscle movement.. White meat is from "fast twitch" muscles which means the muscles get used very little and is only when the flap their wings.. Dark meat is "slow twitch" which means the muscles do more work like walking around so there is more blood running through those muscles which is why the color is different.
    Dark meat with slow twitch always has more flavor and the rarely used fast twitch doesn't receive as much oxygen which is they the meat is a lighter color. Same with beef.. Tenderloin doesn't have as much flavor as other working muscles like flank steak (the diaphram) or sirloin. It is more tender because the muscles do less work but it doesn't have the beefiness taste as much as other working muscles. Thank you for the video chef !!

      +nikhil dev Lol I am also 12 years old and I like to cook. Cooking with bones is better because the chicken cooks so that its not overcooked. That way, it would still squishy and crispy like it is supposed to be. You can use chicken breasts, but it has a very high chance of becoming dry.

    This is the best tandoori chicken recipe ever! Much better than store bought masalas and concentrated pastes. Turns out great in the oven or air fryer. Make sure you use small chicken pieces so that cooking is even; use a 1 kg spring chicken for best results. For added flavor, you can use mustard oil or ghee in the recipe in lieu of a flavourless oil. Make sure your curd is very thick so that the marination sticks to the chicken. If you make this recipe for your family and guests they will think you are a true star chef. Thanks so much Vahchef

    Hi chef!! The last step really made the recipe richer in taste. I tried tandoori chicken at home millions of time before, but never stood out. Here in this video the step you had done on grill pan, that made it perfect. Thank you for the detail. Really enjoyed it last night. Happy cooking like always.

    Agreed, he's a great character. I've met a lot of Indians and Pakistanis and they have all been some of the friendliest, most honest people I've met. I really liked his story at the beginning.
    If I had to eat only one country's food for the rest of my life it would be either Indian/Pakistani or Mexican food.

    It definitely is the best tandoori chicken in the world. Tried it today with your Kadai chicken recipe and a simple dhal curry of my own. Wow. What a meal with all this combined! Thanks a bunch for the great recipe

    I watched several tutorials about Tandoori chicken and found a couple recipes that seemed easy, yours included but none share your enthusiasm which is very much appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your work, I'll be trying this out when I collect the necessary spices. If it looks as delicious as yours and is heavenly to the pallet, I'll post a photo. One of the tutorials called for corn flour for additional crisp and I tried that method for a roasted chicken, it was incredible as it worked beautifully so, forgive me but I'll deviate a bit from yours. If you ever need authentic French recipes, just shout out, I'll happily help! Namaste, merci beaucoup.
