Your grandfather’s screwdrivers are awesome. Those handles are amazing. I’m lucky I got my grandfather’s wooden boat. He built it in 1954, and he ordered the stencils from a popular science magazine. It’s just a closed bow 16 foot boat. I restored it a few years ago. He named it after my grandma. So I painted the name on real nice. The Wanda May lives on.
I'm so happy it is midnight and I just noticed this. My favorite ASMR artist of all time is back at it again and as always I speak for everyone saying we hope you stay safe and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
My wife and I watch your videos daily :) My go to is the super chief :) she loves the life advice vids :) Thank you so much for all the awesome work. We really enjoy it. Hello to Mrs. Relaxing Asmr from Irvine, ca :)
Fascinating to see the tools used to build these pieces of artwork. I hope you do more history style videos in the future. Love your contractor video where you tell the history of air conditioning as well. Knowledge is power! Thank you for this video!
OH MY GIDDY AUNT!!! I knew your voice the second I heard it!! I started watching your videos when I first discovered ASMR almost...7 years ago?? Yours were among my favorites and somehow lost your channel. So happy right now, you don’t even know!!! ❤️❤️👍👍 Thrilled that you are still creating ASMR content!! And, yes. I have subscribed!!!!!
Dear Godfather, I've been a fan of yours for many years now. You were the one that inspired me to join the hobby of fountain pens some 6-7 years ago. I've unfortunately lost passion for the hobby over the years as my line of study has me using pencil 90% of the time. This video inspired me to go find a vacumatic pencil in the stacked celluloid material and I purchased one on Etsy a few days ago and it arrived today. I'm already in love and I plan to enjoy it for many years to come. Thank you for all that you do.
I also use pencils quite often. I really like the Vacumatic pencils but wished they wrote like the Pentel P205s which are my go-to pencils. Thanks for commenting:)
my school pens never lasted more than a few years until parts broke off and they were all scratched up. a pen lasting for 80 years? springs still working, plastic parts not fallen off…would like hey would produce stuff like that today
Beautiful Vacumatics you have there! You should consider sending the maroon pen off to a nibmeister to have it adjusted so it writes as well as it looks. I’ve got 4 Vacs of my own, and I just love the looks of that Parker striped celluloid. Those screwdrivers your grandfather made out of Parker celluloid are super neat to see also.
I agree. It's almost like the iridium on the tip of the nib is worn away. I'll have to look at it under a magnifying glass and see what the problem is.
MJ is my favorite player of all time. When you said his name first, i lit up like a Christmas tree. 😂 you’re the man! Thank you for your content friend.
Neat screwdrivers, I just thought the handles look like they would make neat fountain pen bodies if put on a lathe and then you showed the fountain pens. Cool, your grandad was very talented :)
Those handles were probably made from rodstock which Parker used in the pens of the 20s & 30s. I have seen several Parker pens with the same design and different color barrels, and I own a Vacumatic with that design in green and black.
Nothing better than a Mercury... Their boat motors from the 70 and 80s were two stroke monsters That sounded and performed great. We had a Johnson 90 and that was fun but not so reliable. Then came the Merc 140. Now this was easier to start faster to run and sounded and smoked like something unique. Trim it right and rooster tail all day. Just figured Mercs needed an old school no cowling shout out. Black and blue is true.
My FAVORITE topic, and my go to guy with a timely video for me....needed this in the worst way. Many thanks for your time and effort in these videos, and hope you and yours are blessed during this time.
I know that you aren't a fan of being on camera and showing your face and obviously we respect that for privacy reasons. You've mentioned the trades and careers of others in your family. Would you be open to making a video about what type of trade/career you had? A lot of your videos show that you have a lot of technical knowledge about a lot of things. Many of us are simply curious as to what type of work in general you did. Doesn't have to be that detailed, but a lot of us are thinking that you were perhaps an electrician or somehow related to HVAC.
Jokes on you, your grand fathers screw drivers are being used in front of 76,000 people. Over the course of the last 10 or so years, your videos have helped me greatly. Especially the time management one with the golf balls and pieces in the jar. Thank you.
Got a basic Parker 35.00 been using it for 6 years only reason I was able to get is because I can run those disposable ones out of ink the secret is to not let anyone use it my wife uses it and puts it back only because I get bent out of shape if its not where I put it
The “made in China” is kind of a slap in the face underneath a classic American Car. But if you admire it’s craftsmanship then I’ll respect your experience. Thanks again for your time.

This is perfect timing, about to settle into bed. I love all your videos but any time you talk about pens or use them for crosswords it's the best.
Omg same! I was watching a video about fans.
Perfect timing ♥️ you’re my go to at bedtime. Top and underrated ASMRtist!

I only just checked for an update yesterday and was beginning to worry my favorite Ytuber had gone AWOL.
OH MY GIDDY AUNT!!! I knew your voice the second I heard it!!

These old Parkers- they were the real pens!
I would like to see you clean or polish your fountain pens or pocket knifes. That would be calming. Thanks for the relaxing vids.
The little clickety clacks of the cars, are my faaaavorite
SAME. And i forgot until i watched this and my body just was so relaxed and peaceful calm.

They may be vacuumatic, but i still can't get them to eliminate the dust under the sofa.
Love your little trinkets and collections, with your personal stories or descriptions. This is my favorite ASMR channel.
Thank you Queen.
Happy to see you back! I hope you and your family are doing well through this hell of a year.
Thanks Haley. Couldn't have said it any better myself.

I saw the Mercury in the thumbnail and throught “That looks like a Hudson.” I was close on the iconic year but incorrect on the manufacturer.
Good guess!
I thought the exact same.

We has both the M2 Mercury and Dodge camper van!
wow. it's helpful for me. thank you for good video!
Glad it was helpful!
Any chance for another cigar vid?
I'd dig it
Getting ink on yourself is standard. Touch it for .001 seconds without taking cap off and there's already ink all over your hands. lol
So true. So true.
That's a good wife you got there. Mention that you want a new watch and she buys you four.
This is so cool
Definitely another cigar video
Got a basic Parker 35.00 been using it for 6 years only reason I was able to get is because I can run those disposable ones out of ink the secret is to not let anyone use it my wife uses it and puts it back only because I get bent out of shape if its not where I put it
I fell asleep at around 8:40 haha. Have to watch the rest now
I actually really like that watch. Would love to know where its from
Green would be my colour choice also. Please send me the pen. Lol. Beautiful.
Will do!! Look for it in your mailbox in about...never:)
I love your videos
Would any of the screwdriver be for sale/trade?
Oh, I could never do that. Glad you think they are neat though.
You Sir are gold!
Thank you
Maybe you need to do a collab with the author of that book.... would help boost his book sales. Beneficial for the both of you
Beautiful
Yay!! ❤️
I saw the thumbnail and thought they were senkos 😂
What is the Material the pens were made of
Celluloid?
Chris Craven Thank you I was wondering what it was I’ve heard of it before but I forgot

The most interesting family tree
Those handles look like Bakelite. Probably pen blanks before turning.
thanks😷
Very cool
