@@theoriginalbasedknight Indeed. But hilariously, oftentimes the choir and church staff are the ones that need preaching to the most. I’ve been watching your videos for years. I love it when you say “…because if you spill fountain pen ink, it will ruin your day.” It’s always stuck with me, and I’ve probably saved myself a few ruined days because of it haha.
Hello, Sir. I've been watching your channel for years and I am now an adult... I used to watch your videos while doing homework, then writing my books, now taking notes from med school. There wasn't a day I didn't dream of having a dip pen myself. I kept on trying my best to do my own thing and be able to buy one. Now I have a simple crown pen that I bought and a little bottle of blue paint for over a year. I can't wait to buy a new one, maybe a classic one. I'm so happy writing anything! Thank you so much for being an inspiration! I love our "conversations" through your videos. Many people haven't been with me for so long. Your presence is family already!
i’m 17, but my dad showed me a lot of the music he would listen to growing up, and steely dan was one of his favourites, alongside ccr - to which I now love pretty much all 60s-70s-80s and some 90s. In conclusion, The 70s was such a good decade for music.
I enjoy your videos they've been relaxing me for almost an entire decade now. It's insane when I think about it, been watching you since I was 14 and I'm 23 now. And if you do see this comment, thanks for the restful nights of sleep and the informative videos over the years. Also; potato cake pudding.
I love the sounds of you twisting open the pens and the storms in the background, and your voice...oh my goodness it is captivating, and truely relaxing and addicting, I would love to meet you one day this side of the dirt lol
I love your videos. I actually don't really "watch" them per se, I play them in the background just to hear your voice and the sounds of the objects while I do something else, like studying for university. It's very calming. And yes, I did make it to the part about potato cake pudding.
There's a popular Irish TV show named after the song Reeling in the Years, and uses it as its theme song. Each episode covers one year of Irish political, economic, cultural & sport history, in the context of the wider global events of that year. Very interesting show :)
Your voice and mannerisms and the way you speak are just the most relaxing of just about every ASMR channel You make me feel like you're really there with me telling me about your pens, and I love it. Thank you so much!!!
My grandfather has a collection of parker pens. A lot of other brands of fountain pens and sometimes he shows me them and a large majority of them are sealed in box still!
I was actually thinking that I'm glad the plum color is so dark. It makes for a very elegant color, and it also strikes me as seeming more vintage and era-appropriate if it's not overly bright. And it makes it look tasty as plum tater pudding.
I like coming back to your channel before I head to bed it’s the same feeling I had when stopping off at my grandparents before I head home relaxing and comfortable, your camper and cologne videos are my favorite especially the beginning of your videos with the nife spinning , listening to ou I feel like a kid again siting in the grandparents sitting room as they both told me interesting stories very relaxing 😊👌

Never occurred to me until just now but one of many reasons I like as Mr (besides the R haha) is how chatty ones kind of talk about small things. Just facts people know or options about non controversial things. It's soothing to just listen to people kind of think out loud and I never really get to do that irl
'Ruby, Ruby' is just pure joy ... Donald Fagen's theme of his solo album (containing this song) is a DJ working til dawn living on caffeine and nicotine and her calling in to the station every night around 2:30am.

Potato Cake Pudding 🍮. One of maybe three comments I've made on UA-cam. In today's society, just to hear a wholesome voice, hell I would pay a subscription for it.
I usually (not always) let a video simmer for a bit, allowing comments to taper off to a trickle so that I can sit down and respond to as many as possible in one session, but this might be the most surprising comment I've ever read under one of my videos, thus prompting me to respond sooner than I normally would. There are/were about a half-dozen manufacturers of train horns, each offering several different models with various tone nuances created not only by the many different arrangements of the horn groupings, but also by the materials used and manufacturing processes utilized, and you my friend feel that you have heard a Nathan model P3 horn in this video??That's kind of specific wouldn't you agree? Well let me just say that you're guess of a three-chime, vintage sound is pretty spot on, as it does indeed sound like a P3 made by Nathan. The P3 came out in the early 1950s and can still be heard on many older diesel locomotives such as the ones short line regional railroads still use. Now, I can't be certain if it's a P3 or not, but certainly does sound like it might be. I had to listen to some reference recordings of P3 horns before replying to your comment and I think you are correct. Good call. Now tell me, any the rest of us reading this, what kind of background do you have that resulted in not only being stunned at the vintage tone, but also actually knowing the probable manufacturer, plus, the most likely model number??????
