- I unbox this Lorus Seiko RL Watch, a brand under the Seiko umbrella. This is definitely a good value-for-money watch, as it has Seiko hardware, but no branding.
Stainless steel casing: the stainless steel case is robust and gives the watch a noble, silver-colored shine.
Metal strap: the high-quality metal bracelet with its flat folding clasp with safety push-button ensures maximum comfort on the wrist.
Waterproof wristwatch: the watch is waterproof up to 10 bar, i.e. at a depth of up to 100 meters. It can easily withstand accidental water splashes when washing hands, rain, or sweat.
Light coating: The luminous coating ensures that the time is readable even in the dark.

No hacking, no hand winding. Definitely a 7s26. They probably have 1000s leftover from the discontinuation of the old seiko 5s and repackaged into lorus and probably pulsar and Alba.
Exactly, Seiko is using their stock to make homage watches of their other discountinued models.
Great looking watch, definitely the dial and especially the 100m WR is outstanding, compared with some 37mm Seiko 5 models. But putting such a great dial on a 41mm case is a crime, unless you have bigger wrists. This kind of watch should come with 37/38mm as it looks more elegant than sporty.
Totally agree, my sweet spot is also 36 to 39, so anything in that range is golden for medium sized wrists. Yes, 100m should be a standard for watches that will be used for beater or everyday purposes. Thanks Harun 🙏🏽

that's a tough question, I would say the Seiko SNX is the winner in my book, just because Seiko is on the dial. But the Lorus would be a very close second cause of its affordability.

They are competing with other micro brands and lowering their price point, but at the same time not using the Seiko name so it does not make the prices of Seiko watches lower than they are.
you better hate your biting your nails when you cannot take out the crown....and not the watch style.....
Yeah, the crown is really recessed, so it very hard to use.
I prefer centimeters and kilos

Crown at the 4 o'clock is a definite no-no for me. Then comes the price, which isn't necessarily a lot, but there are some better brands to go for if you're looking for a budget watch. Orient and Seiko caught my eye with some models, but that 4 o'clock crown .... nop.
Yeah, this is basically Seiko trying to release homage watches with their hardware but with another branding than Seiko to keep the Seiko prices higher. I don't mind the 4 o'clock crown, but understand why others don't like it cause of the symmetry. The crown was also very small, too small and not grippy as well.
