Chase talks about how it wouldn't be a good highway/OTR truck. But I beg to differ, a lot of places are trying to pass regulations where you can't idle past a certain point. When it's 70+ or 32>, cities don't want you to idle. (AKA having your AC on or heater on) Even though it wouldn't make sense mpg/cost, but where it does in the long run is comfort/ not dying.
I also think that it makes sense because even if the generator is running full-time, it's smaller than your truck's engine and always running at peak power band. You'll still see a little fuel savings OTR, and get all the benefits of a warm sleeper and cold cargo without idling your engine.
46:06 new trucks…. Lorries in the uk have had exhaust brakes for at least the last 15 years has Chace been hiding under rock 😂😂😂 (Still need brakes for hills, red lights ect )
@awww I don’t have much experience driving postman pat vans around. To me looks crazy that across the pond the amount of weight those little postman pat vans are allowed to tow, without directly connected trailer brake airlines.
Edison has stated that they are not interested in Edison tractors (for the time being). Im disappointed that you guys didnt at least ask about Edison Tractors as a right to repair alternative for farmers.
I can imagine that vocational orders are going to fill their hands so they can't split focus like that. Your best bet is that they will sell you a conversion kit and you can get someone to put an electric drive on your tractor to plug the generator into.
Chace rants are always a classic.
Worthy of a drinking game!
Love Edison Motors can’t wait for them to have retrofit for all semis.
25:20 but you’re allowed to waste all the money in the casinos. You’re just not allowed to make money with a proper risk.

at that time he was talking about an American light-duty pickup truck. Exhaust brakes are new to that market from the OEM.

1:05:00 Tell us how you /Really/ feel why don't you Chase . . .
I KNOW if Edison motors was publicly traded, their stock would compete with Tesla
😂 no just no 😂 I KNOW they are not a top 10 company or a trillion dollar company
@ you never know till you know, they have potential to have an even healthier and stronger fanbase imo
How does this only have 300 views
That's all the farmers who also listen to podcasts

What's Edison's though on solarfarms on prime farm land??
If I had to guess, he doesn't think about it and therefore have an opinion on it
3 years is a pop up shop…. Short term is 25 years
I want to invest but can’t because the way it’s layed out
You can thank US and Canadian laws for it. I've been looking at 401(k) options but coming up empty which sucks.
