- This video has been put together to show how Fascia, Soffits and guttering are correctly installed. This video also has barge boards and the box ends.
The fascia and soffits are in the colour Anthracite grey also the barge boards and box end. All guttering is to of black seamless and black round down pipes.
Every property is different and the colour may not suit but this video will give you a very good idea of how the works should be carried out.

Love that ladder scaffold . Never right in a million years . Very dangerous . Hope one and all are safe
Nice neat job that, great box ends, thanks for the tips 🙏
Tasty work.
Using them same fascia/soffits atm on a big site. Come here just to double check I'm banging on the box ends properly. I didn't butt the barge board box end up was the horizontal fascia but fortunately the corner trim will cover that... Will do it for the other 25 box ends to do 😘
Great tidy, work, well done mate 👍
Nice finish Gary. The seamless gutter is a brilliant idea but how was it fixed when there must have been an awkward top screw on the brackets which falls behind the tray ?
Absolute beautiful job
you much be munching diarrhoea
Nice job Gaz
The rafter on that box end needed to be replaced as its clearly Rotten
No need to replace , the timber is fine
My thoughts too, he said it’s ‘a slight bit of rot’ while it practically fell apart when he lightly brushed it
Can I come and help you on a job Gary, just to learn.
Just about to finish my level 2 C&G site carpentry.
Based in midlands.
Good video, very helpful.
What do you do if there isn’t a lip on the brick work for the soffit to sit on ?
You'd fit a starter trim, and then slide the soffit into that instead
Drop the choc (white pvc on sides of rafters ) down a little and screw a starter trim to it , then just pin the soffit to the front of the choc (don’t see pins on soffit boards) that way ,
The end timbers need replacing and treating for dry rot. To many cowboys out there. Call a proper roofer to put it right.
