I've carried the buck vanguard 192 on my belt every day since I was 17 and I'm 43 now and its still going strong and holds a razor sharp edge for a very long time, I bought a handmade leather sheath on ebay and its held up great as well,I still use it every day and I've beat the crap out of it over the years and it still looks and works great,I like it because its short and thin enough to hide under my shirt so its not to noticeable and its extremely durable and sharp and has a thick and sturdy blade,I have over 1,000 knives but none of them compare to the buck vanguard for every day carry,I gave $30 for it new in 97,I have a few case xx knives that are probably better but way to expensive to carry every day,great knife and I'm sure one day my son will get mine when I'm gone and he'll be able to use it for many more years
I've been wanting one. I probably will get one with a textured handle. Anyone that guts a deer can tell you, you need better grip. I had to hand checker my 119 jut to use it.
