The Accord looks so sick now, nice work with the lowering and wheel choice! Also I love the subtle Nissan Tiida jokes over the last couple months' videos, only a matter of time before all the Tiida owners come rushing into the comments trying to defend their very average, very ugly, and very slow cars haha
Hey bro, this is the first vid of your I've watched, I just got some H&R lowering springs for my 93 Honda Legend Coupe! Love those wheels too, I have sparco ds2's, the 2 piece version of what you have, also running potenzas! I live up north of Auckland and I'm glad I found your channel. Appreciate the vid bro!
Tyres I got on my accord was Goodyear performance efficientgrip 2 XL. Handling and grip is brilliant now compared to some rubbish brand called Triangle lol.
Yeah, I bought my Accord a month ago with Sava winter tires with DOT 2516 XDD, and in the curves the God was the only thing keeping me alive and well. Yesterday I put on Good Year Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5, and needles to say - Honda holds the road like a train now, no problem with going with 140km/h through corner, but I appreciate God's presence still. 😅😅😅
Very nice wheels, i think they go very well with the accord and want to find a set for mine. Could you please tell what are the wheels specs? Also do you rub somewhere now when the car is lowered?
Wheels are 18x7.5 +48 Sparco DS1's that I repainted from gold to charcoal. Tires are 225/45R18 Bridgestone Potenza RE003's, and lowering springs are Tein S-Tech. Doesn't rub at all but handles and looks heaps better than stock.
V.Nice wheels man! I'm thinking about getting those tein's on my car too, but I usually have the backseat and trunk fully loaded... Have you had any issues when the car is fully loaded?
Hey! Do you still have the stock struts with the teins installed? Want to get a set for my TSX here in Canada, and was curious how the stock struts are holding up? Did you have any alignment issues, or did you get a camber kit? Did you notice that they improved body roll at all? My main complaint with the TSX is that it isn't super "stable" feeling in corners and has a lot of body roll.
Hi man, probably won't see this but I assume with such a small drop the clearance is still over 100cm therefore you don't need cert? I'm looking at a set springs and rims of 17x7 with +38 offset. Do you think it's a fair choice and the off set isn't too aggressive? Looking at getting 06 type s soon. Cheers!
Not sure about the rules for cert, I just know for wof the wheels can't stick out more than 1cm past the guard. My wheels are 18x7.5 +48 offset and are still a good 1cm in from the guard. 17x7 +38s should stick out almost exactly the same amount so they'll be fine.
Bought them off trade me, and just search on your local auction website for some 17 or 18 inch, 7-8.5 inch wide wheels with an offset less than 55 and more than 40 and they'll look great
Jeepers no need for caps man - watch my review on it if you want my complete opinion: ua-cam.com/video/XPBdm7ESBOc/v-deo.html No known issues to report - just usual K series stuff - if it's high k's it'll probably burn oil so just be prepared for that
@@KiwiCarLife Thanks. I had these lowered springs installed with my stock shocks and my ride performance is terribly bumpy. Do you have any suggestions for better shocks that aren't super expensive?

Bro i replaced my springs also, now my car sits lower on driver side, it was even when it came off the lift, i drove home next morning when i saw it was low on 1 side.
@@KiwiCarLife @KiwiCarLife hmm I just noticed in your vid it looks like your spring with R showing might have gone to front (at like 2:30)? or maybe its just editing

Was thinking about getting these for my CU2, how much worse is the ride. Does it make it much "bouncier"
Nah it's not bouncy, rides pretty good, but definitely firmer and lower than stock

in amount of inches, what would you say is too low to drop the accord? To prevent problems and issues in the future?
Mine's only dropped 1.5" - main issue you run into with these is excessive camber in the rear and wearing out shocks if you go too low.

I dropped mine but with 2” front and rear and planning to put 18x8.5 +35. Do you think it’ll rub?
Not if you roll the guards

Do the shorter springs go in the front? that’s how i did it on mine.
Not necessarily related to length, rather the diameter of the spring - I think the smaller ones go in the front from memory yes
