I appreciated the heads up about the windows' susceptibility to rain. And it was sobering to see how it behaves in wind. Somehow it escaped me that there is no actual rain fly when I ordered this one, so appreciated the tour that made that clear. This would not have been fun to camp in (as it comes out of the bag) where I was last week, with a (rare) ferocious desert wind and rain storm. Will look into getting better tent stakes, guy lines and pre-make an extra tarp/rainfly that won't blow away and can attach quickly and securely... On the bright side, the sturdy tent poles are reassuring. I am putting this together for emergency response kit, so not like you can always retreat back to a nice warm house when your backyard camping trip goes awry.
@@NytronX"Typically the rain fly comes with a tent." But this is not a typical tent. There's no rainfly. Check the website, I did that before I posted my first comment.
I was going to buy this tent until i realized the set up by your self plus how the wind will blow this away to mexico if a slight gust of wind hit it. I decided not to...
Would like this a bit shorter. I know, not what it's intended for, but it would be nice to find a version of this tent with about a 5' center height, and a real rainfly for those unsecure windows.
Lol, people in the midwest pronounce words like bag, tag, wag, as beyg, teyg, weyg, etc. Also, it's shaped like a wagon, see here: yosemitepinesrv.com/vouchers/product/conestoga-wagon-2/

After owning it for a year, would you suggest it? I’m curious about the rain factor. Nemo claims it is water proof.
Any updates after using it with regards to temperature? Nervous the single wall may be cold. Also how has been in the rain?

It looks like the nemo wagontop 6p tent, not the 4p?
if it rains heavily
Won't water get in through the windows ??
There's a rainfly
Yes, as he mentioned. Some other reviews have also said that it's not terribly good in heavy rain.
@@NytronX "There's a rainfly" I don't think there is. Where did you find one?
