Today I install the ECS Tuning branded diffuser for the MK6 Jetta GLI. Quality was pretty good despite there being a few difficult clips. Hope someone finds this helpful!
Vland states on their website that the taillights do not fit the GLI models, only cars that came with halogen taillights and not the GLI’s that came with LEDs
Came here just as a suggestion now I’m about to order one for mine. I just want something a bit more aggressive looking than this since mine is built completely for stance
I was thinking about eventually ordering one for my 2016 GLI. My only concern is whether or not it would block access to the rear tow hook, which appears to be the case. Do you think there’s a way to get around that? Perhaps with an aftermarket hook or strap?
I have a 2021 Jetta R line and I got the ECS diffuser for it. I was going to pay a body shop to install it but it looks easy enough for me to do. What was the total install time removing the old one and installing the new one?
Once I found what bolts to pull off probably 15 minutes. I took my time with the old diffuser to try to not break anything, but it's super straight forward
None of my tabs are clipping in on mines . I broke a tab trying to snap it in and it doesn’t . I don’t think they engineered mines correctly. I have a 2012 gli by the way
@@squarestateboys6467 thanks man! I was going to get one from Drag Cutters but it’s a bit too aggressive for me this one is clean has that glossy look I love it. You def sold me on it I have the same white GLI
@@squarestateboys6467 So I got mine recently and I ordered a front lip and this same rear diffuser and they didnt send me any of the screws or bolts to install... lol fml

No disrespect but as a car guy u should always do your own work.
Hey did the clips at the edges go in for you? I broke mine off just to get it to aline with the rest
It took some force but I did get them to clip in. And since they have not popped or anything

Is your REAR DIFFUSER compatible with a 2015 VW Jetta 2.0L. Is there any other diffusers that are compatible for my Jetta?
This one isn't, the 2015 model is the facelift and that wont fit

Hmmm...odd. Mine clipped in fine except for the corners that were a struggle.

I don't think so. As far as I know, this is for the GLI bumper only.
