I think you should make a second Necromancer class video, but this time with a focus on Storm. Go all the way down the Storm tree to get Static Cage and it's upgrade. Then go get Walking Bomb, but this time with it's upgrade!!! That's the most important part! Use Static Cage and group everyone together. Cast Walking Bomb on one of them .Then use the Horror skill to freak everyone out, causing them to try and run away, which will end up getting them shocked and paralyzed, and dragged back to the center. Continually cast Chain Lightning, Energy Barrage, and any AoE skill you have. Once the Walking Bomb victim dies, that status effect is guaranteed to spread since everyone is trapped in the cage. Poor suckers...
Storm is bad, i always do lowest dam with storm, if u combine some skills from storm with ur build ok, but only storm is bad, storm and ice work fine together
frankly, you would do better with storm and fire than necro and storm for that technique. -cast cage -cast barrier for bonus with chaotic -cast fire mine in middle of cage -cast weakening barrage on the strongest of the group in the cage. and yes, you can do all this in less than 3 seconds. *boom* lather, rinse, repeat. fire mine does way more damage than walking bomb, and the radius is plenty sufficient for enemies trapped in a cage.
lol have you all played the game at nightmare level? static cage and horror wont disable any boss, dragon and giant and those damage are small. those are redundant when you meet a boss. besides that, those abilities take a lot of mana and static cage has a long time cooldown. i prefer low cost abilities or high cost abilities that have shorter time cooldown so that the damage burst is faster
Fun thing with the Simulacrum: You can not only let the spirit who takes on your form after being knocked unconcious let do spells and stuff buuuut also you can let them take potions. Liiike for example Regeneration Potion which brings the health back up of course and lets your Necromancer themself come back into action. In other terms you have an extra chance to not be knocked out. Already saved me quite a few reloads :D
A lot of people don’t like the necromancy tree and it’s not my favourite either but if you spend your points on the right skill you can make a lot of fun combinations.
necromancer actually works well with a rogue (especially archer assassin) with mercy killing passive ability who doesn't focus on critical chance and more to critical damage because they will put critical damage automatically on panic or sleep (through mercy killing) and out of stealth (through knife in the shadows assassin spec) necromancer-inferno can make a lot of enemy panic with horror (6 second) ,flash fire (8 second), and wall of fire (4 second) which an assassin archer can attack 1-3 times with their deadly abilities hidden blade with or any archery abilities and guaranteed critical hit and I should mention, archer assassin is better than dual dagger assassin because bows give you more basic damage than daggers, hence more abilities damage. and in this case an archer assassins doesn't have to running around chasing panic enemies I'm guessing you put more focus on damage dealer inferno rather than crowd controller necromancer, which is fine. :)
Static Cage + Horror = Panicked enemies running at the walls and getting electrocuted. Static Cage + Walking Bomb = Enemies kept close enough together for the explosion to make a difference.
Alexsander Sosa In retrospect, maybe not as a powerful combo as I initially thought. Well, maybe it could be if you follow up with an Eldritch Detonator spell after the enemies are paralyzed by the edges of the cage. That would cause several simultaneous Discharge combos... I think. So... Static Cage, followed by Horror, followed by Immolate? I still need to test this.
Fyi I no some people might not like doing it but if you do the amulet of power glitch you don't have to worry about picking and choosing certain passives and wasting points to get to those skills you could pretty much get every skill and passive and then just chosing the abilities you want to put on your skill map.
I feel like Bioware completely missed the point of a Necromancer. I want to use dead bodies and sinister spirits/demons to terrorize the battlefield. Not.... This. This is pathetic.
I understand you. See the necromancer in Diablo 2. When I play like a Necromancer, I want to terrorize enemies, evocate zombies, skeletons and demons, to create my personal army of death.
I think all of the Mage skills were massively disappointing. Two of the specializations are just rehashed skills from previous games. Necromancer just recycled my favorite tree in Origins, Entropy. I was expecting rift Mage to open up awesome portals, but not one ability does so, despite what the skill descriptions state. Plus, I was really hoping to see something akin to shapeshifter come back with a vengeance in this game. It was a bit of a gimmick in Origins, but had real potential and was such a captivating concept regardless of its viability in game.
I usually just pick up Immolate with some passives in the Fire tree, for me the true benefit of the flame tree is the damage over time a panicking abilities (not its various nukes) as it pairs well with Necromancy. For me an Upgraded Walking Bomb with either Blizzard or Shocking Cage (I forget what they are called) is beastly for clearing groups of enemies. Having enemies freeze only to find their allies blow up in their face and then themselves blow up is always fun to watch, also with a big area of effects ability like Blizzard, you find your Mana and Health unusually high with the Death Siphon ability.
I just want to say that I'm glad I didn't suicide during my teen years; I've waited so long for a good necromancer guide. //*metaphorical tears carves canyons down face* Just watching two giants fight each other was a sight to behold; I must say that it was quite very amusing. The necromancer's probably one of the most under-appreciated classes in DAI. Thanks to this video and the tips video that came before it, I'm actually excited to try out the class (I've just been side questing (56 hours according to Origin), I still haven't done the specialization quests). Big, BIG thanks for such a great guide! (subscribed, liked and favorited)
Im playing this build now for the first time. I've played this game atleast 10 times and I've played both knight enchanter and rift mage twice but i never tried this build. I'm actually enjoying it. I know horror is a move you can take or leave but I use it mostly on side mission just for the visual and sound effects. Love to here them scream like bitches when they are panicked and i love that creepy growl sound and turning my enemies into my minions is pretty cool.
Identical masterwork enchantments do not stack. A damn shame, but there you go. However, different strengths DO stack. So -10 and -5 will give you -15.
Hey Kinetic, just wanted to say thanks for all the helpful videos on DA:I you've made. I found the game's systems to be quite overwhelming, even though I have played the previous two. Or perhaps because I hadn't played an RPG in ~6 months. Either way, your video helped me get my bearings. Just wanted to say thanks.
Guys, I have an very interesting strategy for all of you playing as mages. If you manage to get a mage and get through the spirit tree, at the end of it, you can revive allies. Now, Cassandra has a specialization tree (Templar) that has a skill which, whenever she dies, she gives her allies 100% health, mana and stamina. You see where this is going... Whenever your party is low on health, if you manage to get Cassandra dying, all of your party members will get full life and soon after, you can revive her. It works really well.
i personally find the fire tree skills boring, but now that you mention it, those skills are better than horror. as someone else mentioned, make sure to give your rogue the passive that gives them an automatic critical attack on panicked enemies.
you can get two pets at once if you double cast spirit mark with the fire tree passive, they're not infinite though. But you can do it in one fight and without the saving thing
Not my build but nice. I asked for him to show it off a few times so people would not feel bad about their specialization choice. I do kind of regret not going knight enchanter but I still find fire/necro as a good choice.
Nothing special about Knight enchanter once you have tried it and realized how it ruined the gameplay after the first few hours. Lucky I had a save point right before I chose so I just went back and picked Necro since it's less game breaking. But some see things differently, try out KE and see what you think.
TheShowerofSlime I'm just hunting for the highest raw DPS class. Though not sure if I like dagger rogues cause it's a battle trying to stay behind tarvets when they allways spin and move. XD
even though the guide is a little older, a little note. guardian spirit does not work with simulacrum. when you have a point in simulacrum, it triggers and you die at the end of it. no matter if your have guardian spirit or not.
Your tutorials are really helpful Kinetic. But they all present builds and tactics suited to situations where there's no friendly fire on, which is a must-have-on option as it adds a lot to the dynamics of combat. While the fire tree goes well with necromancer bonus to panicked enemies, I'd rather pick up more spells from winter's tree, like the Frost rune or upgrade to fade step to better control the battlefield, so AoE spells don't kill my team. Also trying to utilize Walking Bomb with friendly fire on can be much more fun and rewarding =)
First off all i want to say thank you for these videos. I'm new in this game and i watched your videos. I interested in Rift mage and Stealth Rogue classes but i couldn't make a choise. Whats your favorite class?
this build here is very OP with ring of doubt, i stacked flanking damage and the ring by default makes you invisable and making your spells while invis auto crit. sooo.... you can invis, crit, invis crit. though you'd need to use the other talent for fire mine that summons 3 instantly... because like 50% or more of the time you're hitting large targets with 2 or all 3mines which by default would be a 300% damage increase instead of the 100% + 75% burning damage. this melts dragons and giants, and if you get use to it enough you can line it up right you consistently hit smaller targets with two mines but you needa get pretty close which.... is bad and also not really because ring of doubt makes you invis right after you cast a spell in combat so you can just repeat constantly. thefear from the necromancer tree is actually not bad cuz of the -20% armor on enemies. soooo can use this on dragons i guess?
Virulent Walking Bomb under a Lightning cage is amazing and with weakness causes mass deep sleep. So, for me, Lightning meshes much better with Necro, and Fire Mine with Rift (guaranteed hit with PotA). Also, Burning doesn't stack, so be mindful of when you apply it.
Horror, spirit mark, walking bomb and a fire spell to cause burning. Each of these abilities can by default or through an upgrade cause damage over time (each ticking separately). Now combine all of these with static cage that does damage on hit.... I swear its one of the most broken single target destroyers
I have to say these build guides are great, even though the total point spread is being shown for a level 20 mage...which skills should we get first when leveling up? I can understand getting something like barrier first but what's next? Should we spend our points like you show each stage of the build(s)? I'd certainly appreciate a heads up on this :)
Hi Kinetic, care to explain a bit more why the two winter skills? You said it makes you cast faster but when i read the description for winter stillness it sounds like all it does is make your freeze spell last longer but in this build you don't have other spells from the winter branch. If you don't mind elaborating a bit more so i can understand it would be appreciated. Cheers
Your videos really help me out with building up my party. I know you did Two handed Templar build, any chance you might do Sword and shield Templar or at least give your opinion on how to build it up.
As far as Death siphon goes i belive the range is either somewere between 10-20 meters or within mini map range. Atlest thats what i've been seeing happen with my dorian in my mage playthrought.
5 years late but I had the skill where crits reduce cooldown times in the artificer tree, a ramped up crit chance gear set and leaping shot = no cooldown
sanenomore2004 good for warriors not so good for anything else they just get themselves killed, have warriors follow themselves, have mages/archers defend the warriors and have dual dagger rouges follow the warrior, if you bring two warriors leave one to defend the ranged attackers and draw away ememys that get into melee range. read elsewhere that putting ranged attackers on defend themselves is good to keep them at range but usually they just stand there doing nothing.. the thing is if you set it up this way you need to change the behaviors everytime you change the party.. bit of a pain.
there's nothing wrong with the AI behavior. its just imperfect of course, nothing is perfect, if its perfect then there will be no matter of life and death lol..but its easier & simpler than DAO & DA2 have. if you dont understand how the fight and the combat system, the game will make you desperate enough. i defeated the game and all its DLC at nightmare level, i wish i knew how to make a video of my gameplay on xbox. my inquisitor was a two handed warrior. a melee dps is very hard to keep them alive. all you have to do is understand how the fight and the combat system in DAI. theres no heal ability, only barrier, guard, potions and certain items so you must think how to make your companions survive but can kill enemies fast also lol. for melee dps (my two handed inquisitor), as i remember, an item named "kitty's collar" and "fade touched lustrous cotton" can make them live forever because a melee dps is easier to be killed, especially at nightmare level. i set the party's target to follow the ranged dps character because i need to kill every enemy fast. except melee character, i set their target to defend my tank warrior so that they're often closed to my tank warrior and i easily put barrier on both of them. besides that, dont forget to activate survival abilities and make those preferred such as; 1. combat roll on warrior. 2. evade & stealth on rogue. maybe you'll need to take poisoned weapons ability with heal on every hit by rogue, 3. fade step on mage. maybe you'll need multiple ice mine and ice armor because it reduces damage 50% 4. taunt with no cooldown on tank warrior so that your tank can save the party from any aggro or threat
I know this is OLD, butstill, good video... Finally my stupid Origin actually works, and it only took an upgrade to win 10 to do it... eh. I'll propably "cheat" a little and install the mage rebalance mod which should make horror a lot more usable... But anyway, I really hope I can also come up with a good build, as my fav. RPG class is Necromancer.
I am decently new to the game and will start playing it tomorrow and over the weekend and i just wanted advice on a party composition. I want to go necro/winter, bring Solas and he will be using the rift mage build you made and blackwall as a tank. Now should i get Sera w/ me(if i take her what build should i go for w/ her) or bring in someone like Casandra as a Templar or iron bull as a dps warrior?
I love trying out new combo-builds, but once you reach endgame and completed all side quests it becomes a task in itself to find more baddies to experiment on. Have you/anyone found a reliable spot for respawns or do you just load the same save over and over?
KineticGTR I finally did have to start a new game, almost lvl 25 and all that's left is an occasional bear and a couple giants. There's the endless Fallow Mire zombies but you gotta crank up the difficulty up to 11 and that just gets boring after a few hours. After making a two-handed with the Hidden Blades ability, I sooo want to use dagger abilities with a greatsword :D Great vids, btw. Keep it up!
Nice build as always, nevertheless I still think Necromancer is one of the most underwhelming specs in the entire game. :( It's pretty much like the Templar spec: It's kinda cool and useful, but not as good or useful as other specs and you don't really have a slot in your party for it... In general, I don't really see the "Necro" part in the whole spec. Why can't I summon demons or skeletons from the dephts of Hell or something?
Playing without friendly fire is very easy in this game. Even nightmare isn't difficult if you can land walls of fire and runes on top of your allies. Positioning becomes the real challenge if this game has one...
Vladimir V. K, then use vivienne or a necromancer for your mage, and have them focus on barriers and single damage attacks/cc. Playing with friendly fire honestly doesn't seem that hard to get around, it just makes the game more un-fun and tedious.
***** I don't think it takes the fun out of the game but in my opinion it gets old really fast unless you want to micro the shit out of the 4 characters and in this dragon age i don't like doing that, i hate the way the AI takes some of the orders and ignores others. Good thing i enjoyed the game a lot even with the AI pissing me off every now and then lol.
My main character is a Rift Mage and my party has Dorian, Cole and Blackwall. I wanted Dorian to play as some sort of "healer/buffer" class but i've seen he's got necro skills. If I make Dorian a pyromancer and take advantage of that available tree wouldnt it be too much to have 2 character with the fire tree? (my main and Dorian) or should i just make him a buffer/healer? What would be the best combination between the two mages my main being a Rift Mage?
Yes. Once I do a round of specializations, I'll go back through them and show off more versions including for example DD Tempest, Assassin Archer, and 2H Champion soon! :)
Ahh no Walking bomb!??Kinetic ,Wall of fire is not that great Imo ,Lingering mark is kewl once the bug is patched, exploit is gone . I was thinking like Horror >> Static cage >> Fire mine or Immolate/something,etc. Horror all about panicking & Necro about inflicting that + bonus damage vs panicked foes & couple em up with Fire DOT spells ,Fade cloak is a great escape mechanism cost no mana ,other than Winter stillness/Chaotic focus & Flashpoint, need all those passives especially Spirit tree-Mana regeneration 35% . I haven't tested what to do with Walking bomb yet . But,the Best Mage combo is Solas & Dorian ,can be incredibly devastating if you know the setups
Tatsumi Anime Superhero Fan Walking bomb is in the build bro. Wall of fire is great for panic and burning. Why not Wall of Fire>Static Cage? Horror costs way to much mana for just panic I think.
KineticGTR Yee but Walking bomb isn't the Vocal point of the build =(. WOF is a straight adjacent line ,so SC won't like rail em into the center ,like your Rift mage you need them clustered into the Epicenter where the comboes takes place Else Walking bomb-static cage-Fire mine & Immolate + detonate ? Highest was 10k i managed to pull off :D
Why not take the upgrade on walking bomb for the AOE goodness from that, Its my favorite part of the Necro tree honestly, Whole packs will get killed off by chain explosions from the viral spread?
It looks terrible. You need high damage combos for bosses. You can look at my videos about how to take down a dragon with your mage in 46 sec. Solo and on nightmare obviously :)
I don't have DA:I. I heard that you only have 8 quick slots. How does that work later in the game? When you have alot more skills points to use. Do you only get passive skills?
do you not have glitch problems with your necromancer? it seems to me as this class's skills cause the game to glitch a lot..if someone has a remedy for that let me know i'd be grateful as it seems like a cool class but i shy away from it to avoid glitching!
I think you should make a second Necromancer class video, but this time with a focus on Storm.
Go all the way down the Storm tree to get Static Cage and it's upgrade. Then go get Walking Bomb, but this time with it's upgrade!!! That's the most important part!
Use Static Cage and group everyone together. and yes, you can do all this in less than 3 seconds.
*boom*
lather, rinse, repeat.
fire mine does way more damage than walking bomb, and the radius is plenty sufficient for enemies trapped in a cage.

I love the walking bomb spell it was the first spell I learned as a Mage in DAO

A lot of people don’t like the necromancy tree and it’s not my favourite either but if you spend your points on the right skill you can make a lot of fun combinations.
I was not interested in fade step at first but once I learned how to use it and get the best out it.
the upgrade on walking bomb makes it one of the best spells in the game for dealing with crowds. It causes me physical pain to see you don't have it.
necromancer actually works well with a rogue (especially archer assassin) with mercy killing passive ability who doesn't focus on critical chance and more to critical damage because they will put critical damage automatically on panic or sleep (through mercy killing) and out of stealth (through knife in the shadows assassin spec)
necromancer-inferno can make a lot of enemy panic with horror (6 second) ,flash fire (8 second), and wall of fire (4 second) which an assassin archer can attack 1-3 times with their deadly abilities hidden blade with or any archery abilities and guaranteed critical hit
and I should mention, archer assassin is better than dual dagger assassin because bows give you more basic damage than daggers, hence more abilities damage. and in this case an archer assassins doesn't have to running around chasing panic enemies

how much damage?cuz i was thinking exactly dat.

if u try
Alexsander Sosa Yep, it sucks. Forget I said anything.
And thus Corypheus stood no chance against the inquisitions ever growing giant army.

+M. Victor Howard I also like the Necromancer in Path of Exile, buildin' me an army of undead.
Should have had Blood magic instead of nechromancer

Very good job! Made me rethink if I want to do Knight-Enchanter or not.
That was awesome. All you have left is Artificer!!!!!
Fuckin' amazing XD You can see Dorian's a Tevinter because he likes to enslave anything that moves

Great video! I'd be interested in seeing a Sword and Shield Reaver build. Something a little tanky that could swap threat with another warrior.
Not sure if you've figured this out yet, but you can control Fade Step as it's being cast. Don't have to run in a straight line.
DUDE , you are awesome!!!
love what you do man, keep it up!
Thanks man

Could u make a video of a storm necro u have done all others but that one
I hope their animations for magic looks better in the next game like some dragons dogma level shit would be nice

My Inquisitor was a pyromancer before he was necromancer so I made him an ice necromancer afterwards.
Could you do a build for a weapon & shield reaver?
Have any of y'all fought a great bear ? That was so weird looking it creeped me out

If you don't mind elaborating a bit more so i can understand it would be appreciated. Cheers
Your videos really help me out with building up my party. I know you did Two handed Templar build, any chance you might do Sword and shield Templar or at least give your opinion on how to build it up.
I'll be doing more variations on specializations, including sword and shield Templar :)
KineticGTR Oh okay then my bad. You just earned The Illuminati as your subscriber.
The Illuminati you can't help but remind us of your name can you? lol
As far as Death siphon goes i belive the range is either somewere between 10-20 meters or within mini map range. Atlest thats what i've been seeing happen with my dorian in my mage playthrought.
Could you do Archer Artificer next? I wanna figure out what skills to give Varric so he is more useful.
5 years late but I had the skill where crits reduce cooldown times in the artificer tree, a ramped up crit chance gear set and leaping shot = no cooldown
Guide for AI tactics and behavior please!!
seconded
...There isn't much to say, other than disable all AI and micro everything yourself.
Kervin Joshua Lucas behaviors .. just put them on follow themselves from what I've learned. Not sure if patches have helped behaviors any.
sanenomore2004 good for warriors not so good for anything else they just get themselves killed, have warriors follow themselves, have mages/archers defend the warriors and have dual dagger rouges follow the warrior, if you bring two warriors leave one to defend the ranged attackers and draw away ememys that get into melee range. read elsewhere that putting ranged attackers on defend themselves is good to keep them at range but usually they just stand there doing nothing.. the thing is if you set it up this way you need to change the behaviors everytime you change the party.. bit of a pain.
there's nothing wrong with the AI behavior. its just imperfect of course, nothing is perfect, if its perfect then there will be no matter of life and death lol..but its easier & simpler than DAO & DA2 have. if you dont understand how the fight and the combat system, the game will make you desperate enough.
i defeated the game and all its DLC at nightmare level, i wish i knew how to make a video of my gameplay on xbox. my inquisitor was a two handed warrior. a melee dps is very hard to keep them alive.
all you have to do is understand how the fight and the combat system in DAI.
theres no heal ability, only barrier, guard, potions and certain items so you must think how to make your companions survive but can kill enemies fast also lol.
for melee dps (my two handed inquisitor), as i remember, an item named "kitty's collar" and "fade touched lustrous cotton" can make them live forever because a melee dps is easier to be killed, especially at nightmare level.
i set the party's target to follow the ranged dps character because i need to kill every enemy fast. except melee character, i set their target to defend my tank warrior so that they're often closed to my tank warrior and i easily put barrier on both of them.
besides that, dont forget to activate survival abilities and make those preferred such as;
1. combat roll on warrior.
2. evade & stealth on rogue. maybe you'll need to take poisoned weapons ability with heal on every hit by rogue,
3. fade step on mage. maybe you'll need multiple ice mine and ice armor because it reduces damage 50%
4. taunt with no cooldown on tank warrior so that your tank can save the party from any aggro or threat
Do your pets still follow you if you fast travel to a new map?
Kinetic, are you planning an artificer archer build? I'd love to possibly compare what you and I are doing for the artificer build.
Yes, I'm going to do another round of all the specializations in a new game
I am decently new to the game and will start playing it tomorrow and over the weekend and i just wanted advice on a party composition. I want to go necro/winter, bring Solas and he will be using the rift mage build you made and blackwall as a tank. Now should i get Sera w/ me(if i take her what build should i go for w/ her) or bring in someone like Casandra as a Templar or iron bull as a dps warrior?
Nice video. But a shame to see that you don't seem to even react to people's comments/ questions 😒.
Is pyronecromancy a powerful way to go with a mage
Trooollll Fight ! 17:50
I love trying out new combo-builds, but once you reach endgame and completed all side quests it becomes a task in itself to find more baddies to experiment on. Have you/anyone found a reliable spot for respawns or do you just load the same save over and over?
I have this same problem. I'll have to start a new game soon just to be able to have more good fights to test builds on.
KineticGTR I finally did have to start a new game, almost lvl 25 and all that's left is an occasional bear and a couple giants.
There's the endless Fallow Mire zombies but you gotta crank up the difficulty up to 11 and that just gets boring after a few hours.
After making a two-handed with the Hidden Blades ability, I sooo want to use dagger abilities with a greatsword :D
Great vids, btw. Keep it up!
I never gave the necro a fair chance because it seemed to be so badly overpowered by the others specs
But im going to change that now
Yeah same if you've done a playthrough already do the reanimated enemies glitch out for you a lot? Because they did when I played as Dorian.
Nice build as always, nevertheless I still think Necromancer is one of the most underwhelming specs in the entire game. :(
It's pretty much like the Templar spec: It's kinda cool and useful, but not as good or useful as other specs and you don't really have a slot in your party for it...
In general, I don't really see the "Necro" part in the whole spec. Why can't I summon demons or skeletons from the dephts of Hell or something?
Have to agree 100%. Necro is such a disappointment in this game; thankfully it's one of the very few cons in the game!
Hey hey hey hey hey at least the Templar spec has the stun-dispel combo that does a lotta damage
~someone who defo didn't specialise in Templar
tips on how to use this build as a support? i dont really want vivvien i want to have an uptight mage with me.
Does Spirit Necromancer work well?
Which one is better necromancer or knight?
Considering my team has Dorian, Bull and Varic.
Playing without friendly fire is very easy in this game. Even nightmare isn't difficult if you can land walls of fire and runes on top of your allies. Positioning becomes the real challenge if this game has one...
Have a party with no mages...
Have you tried playing on Nightmare? Don't write crap. If there is no shield(s) you can't survive.
Vladimir V. K, then use vivienne or a necromancer for your mage, and have them focus on barriers and single damage attacks/cc. Playing with friendly fire honestly doesn't seem that hard to get around, it just makes the game more un-fun and tedious.
Then turn friendly fire on
***** I don't think it takes the fun out of the game but in my opinion it gets old really fast unless you want to micro the shit out of the 4 characters and in this dragon age i don't like doing that, i hate the way the AI takes some of the orders and ignores others. Good thing i enjoyed the game a lot even with the AI pissing me off every now and then lol.
iv been looking for a diablo 2 necromancer but it seems nobody is doing the necromancer right unfortunatly
Can you also make a lightning mage guide ?
How do you get full def wall for your necromacer? i thought mage only got barrier?
Is this endless pets save reloading thing patched?
Simulacrum and Guardian Spirit are incompatible due to bugs.
I'm really wanting to do this but solo the whole game, any ideaS/TIPS?
im angry that they took out blood-mage ;-;
It makes no sense to be a blood mage when you are the Herald of Andraste.
So this build doesn't really do anything to dragons with a fire immunity?
KineticGTR How come all your Evil Within content came off your channel, did something happen?
wait but what about if your going against something like a fire dragon? wouldnt that make the fight very long and tedious to deal with?
i it good to make the balanced mage skills tree with this necromancer skill tree build ?! or i use this build better ( i need a DPS mage )
what about that dual dagger tempest tho. also which class is best for both soloing and exploration in your opinion, mage or rogue
Yes. Once I do a round of specializations, I'll go back through them and show off more versions including for example DD Tempest, Assassin Archer, and 2H Champion soon! :)
Can you do the other archer specialions
Will do!
WOF is a straight adjacent line ,so SC won't like rail em into the center ,like your Rift mage you need them clustered into the Epicenter where the comboes takes place
Else Walking bomb-static cage-Fire mine & Immolate + detonate ? Highest was 10k i managed to pull off :D
Tatsumi Anime Superhero Fan Right so I bring my Rift Mage, he casts the PotA, SC, and combined, we will annihilate anything we come across ;)
KineticGTR Even on hard/nightmare,that can fun :D. Weakened foes + Walking bomb is like an Icing on a cake.
KineticGTR i know this is a little of topic but who do you think is the better dps the reaver or assassin
Why not take the upgrade on walking bomb for the AOE goodness from that, Its my favorite part of the Necro tree honestly, Whole packs will get killed off by chain explosions from the viral spread?
Hmmm.... Your immolate tooltip reflects the upgrade from Wildfire.... I'm sure my does not. Another bug?
How well does this do against dragons and bosses?
It looks terrible. You need high damage combos for bosses. You can look at my videos about how to take down a dragon with your mage in 46 sec. Solo and on nightmare obviously :)
I think walking bomb upgrade is too good to skip.
Hey does anyone one know is there a battle difference to male cole more Spirit vs. Huuman. Ya its nolt about the class but please.
Can you switch between each character build?
nice
5:30 hard pass i never use anything with negative effect incuding skill that consumes half of my barrier
I don't have DA:I. I heard that you only have 8 quick slots. How does that work later in the game? When you have alot more skills points to use. Do you only get passive skills?
Does the pet trick still work
upgraded horror is good
do you not have glitch problems with your necromancer? it seems to me as this class's skills cause the game to glitch a lot..if someone has a remedy for that let me know i'd be grateful as it seems like a cool class but i shy away from it to avoid glitching!
wait how did you get that soo many abilities option? I only got four
In your professional opinion what mage specialization would be the best in the long run
Knight-enchanter is known to be pretty OP. However, I think Fade Mage is more fun to play. My opinion.
I like necromancer myself, not the best but still good
I play inferno with Solas but at lvl 9 i got the Rift spec instead of Necromancer...any help please??
Solas gets rift spec no matter what, Dorian however gets the necromancer spec.
