He talked about having knife fights in San Quentin every day for a couple months straight. For that to happen you must believe that every day the staff ignored the blood being spilled in the yard. Incredibly, there was never institutional charges or transfer packages. Nope. He could just go out daily and dispatch the opposition.
I read a lot about Tommy Silverstein and to me, that man there had small shit turn into a spiraling outta control nightmare that kept him in unbelievable isolation for decades. I believe em that they set em up and did all they could to keep him there for life. Crazy shit
Yeah, that guy story is unbelievable man, he could’ve gotten out and had a life, but seems like he was committed to what he was doing. He signed up and he rode it out. That’s the prison system once you’re in there’s no guarantees how things are gonna work out. Tommy story is a sad one.
Thanks for making this video available to the public, very interesting. I can see the fascination with Thompson after he was featured on those prison documentaries. A lot of these documentaries just show a small part of what really happened and it relies on the word of those they are interviewing, who could very well be lying or embellishing what happened.
I guess you just have to understand that television is entertainment, and like you say people that watch it are relying on the word of the person that’s being interviewed. The audience doesn’t know the whole story. And all the victims that have been laid to the side along the way by people like this turd

There are people who know how to fight... black belts in multiple REAL martial arts like Brazilian Jujitsu that will tell you... the way to win a fight with two or three guys is to run. It's impossible to "dispatch" seven guys. You can't do that with a pew-pew!!

Also, I've got a big titanium rod on the side of my femur bone so that I could get back to walking sooner. The gunshot didn't hurt at all, but when they shoved that metal rod through the muscle, THAT was some REAL PAIN! My goodness.
I have some personal experiences around some guys who were 16s here in PA. I dated ones daughter breifly and after somehow ended up with no where to go and welcomed in by her family after she bolted. Anyways her father (rip) was a well established old school pagan who had a bar/clubhouse that was burnt down along susquehanna river. They were always good to me but at the time was dealing with addiction as was my ex father. I never really knew how high up these guys were but there was a guy went by "tyrone" who years later i came to know as michael trone, club president before conon richter forced him aside. But many considered the real leader. It seems like these clubs have right vs left hand type culture. But the pagan m.c. is no joke. Those guys are so well organized and chaotic at same time. But ofter the most important ones are the least assuming

I always questioned that Yogi story, there is no way they were going to let the Brand and B.G.F on tha same yard, not in Animal Control or 4-A at Folsom. I think the A.C. was sectioned off separating into 3 yards, kind of like the row has a yard but its sectioned into to 4 separate yards, 4-A is one yard but yardtime is divided into race and/or gang affiliation. Probably the same in all lock up units the Brand and EME co exist on the same yards. So anyhoo, the only opportunity Mike would have had at yogi if they were both being escorted within close range of each other and slipped the restraints take possession of a weapon and attack, it can happen but highly unlikely occurrence.

I was on the D.V.I. Mainline in 1986. I was a Wood on that yard. When I was there in 86, the only N.F. in D.V.I. were in Ad. Seg. Tracy was a NO DOUBT Southern yard in 1986. If a northern had the balls to walk the mainline in 86 at Tracy, the Mexican Mafia would stick em within 24 hours. I saw it on the yard one Saturday where this Northern essay goes to the yard with bright red bandana on his head, new state issue jean jacket ironed like he was going to a visit with his old lady, walking with his head high, full of all the machismo he could muster. Tracy yard was huge back in the day. We spotted this cat from the bleachers where we were smoking a cap. We could not believe it. Our eyes were glued to this dude knowing he was about to go to the infirmary or the morgue. Within 20 minutes of seeing that red rag we spotted two Southsiders walking laps and new what time it was. Sure enough, they ran it in him good. Gun towers opened up on the incident but it didn't look like they were hit. They stuck him 10-15 times and walked away before laying down as alarms rang out. I don't know if Tracy yard was a Northern yard in 77 but I know by 86 one of the only yards ran by the N.F. was San Quentin. I got sent there from DVI in September of 86 to be closer to home for visits. I'm from the Bay Area (Solano County). This was BEFORE the days of multiple Reception Centers. Just Vacaville and Chino in those days.

July 3rd of this year (2024) is 25 yrs since I paroled for the last time. 1999 I got out of Corcoran and said, "ENOUGH" No more weights No more tobacco A lot more bank employees (tellers) I said to myself, "Self, I am going to spend my vacation dollars elsewhere." When I started doing time, California had 8 prisons. By 99, when I saw the light, the system had ballooned to 33 soft jails full of Jack-Offs. Take care.

By 1974 they were off the mainline, Harpo Harper and Spots Berg ran the show until '79 when Bob Crane, Blinky Griffin, and Wendell Blue Norris took over and seized control. Mike was never really a factor at all as far as leasdership. Blinky AND Bob Crane both greenlit Mike. Dude was talking too much shit and got in over his head. Mitch was there in 1979-1984 and can back up what I'm saying I'm sure, even though he was younger and came along after.

The photo that pops up at 17:37 makes me think the guy in the middle with the flannel is Loser Clark. He was tight with Tommy Silverstein who is kneeling on the far right. Spots Berg on the far left, TD Bingham standing above him , and this is just a guess that Booby Moore is kneeling in the middle. Spots and Bobby were on the mainline for a bit when Mitch was in SQ

I was on the D.V.I. Mainline in 1986. I was a Wood on that yard. When I was there in 86, the only N.F. in D.V.I. were in Ad. Seg.
Tracy was a NO DOUBT Southern yard in 1986. If a northern had the balls to walk the mainline in 86 at Tracy, the Mexican Mafia would stick em within 24 hours. I saw it on the yard one Saturday where this Northern essay goes to the yard with bright red bandana on his head, new state issue jean jacket ironed like he was going to a visit with his old lady, walking with his head high, full of all the machismo he could muster.
Tracy yard was huge back in the day.
We spotted this cat from the bleachers where we were smoking a cap.
We could not believe it.
Our eyes were glued to this dude knowing he was about to go to the infirmary or the morgue.
Within 20 minutes of seeing that red rag we spotted two Southsiders walking laps and new what time it was. Sure enough, they ran it in him good. Gun towers opened up on the incident but it didn't look like they were hit. They stuck him 10-15 times and walked away before laying down as alarms rang out.
I don't know if Tracy yard was a Northern yard in 77 but I know by 86 one of the only yards ran by the N.F. was San Quentin. I got sent there from DVI in September of 86 to be closer to home for visits. I'm from the Bay Area (Solano County).
This was BEFORE the days of multiple Reception Centers. Just Vacaville and Chino in those days.

It's weird how he gets away with all his lies on these documentaries & podcasts, and none of the hosts ever call him out on it. It's one thing to lie and tell tall tales of your prison exploits, okay whatever, but what is really disturbing about Mr. Thompson is the fact that he won't take responsibility for those murders in the hills of California, back in the 1970's. Whenever he is pressed on the subject he deflects, denies, claims it was a setup or other people did it blah blah blah. He straight- up murdered a pair of dudes, he has no business even being alive.

Mike was never a leader. The original leaders in '68 were Jack Mahone, Bob Galloway, Bobby Butler, and Harvey Smith. By 1974 they were off the mainline, Harpo Harper and Spots Berg ran the show until '79 when Bob Crane, Blinky Griffin, and Wendell Blue Norris took over and seized control. Mike was never really a factor at all as far as leasdership. Blinky AND Bob Crane both greenlit Mike. Dude was talking too much shit and got in over his head. Mitch was there in 1979-1984 and can back up what I'm saying I'm sure, even though he was younger and came along after.
He's only doing it because Nat Geo showcased him on one of those "lock-up" shows. He's done his rounds as this "high ranking" AB and I'm sure he has a book, or one in the works, he's making money left and right, so he's exploiting his prison time.
