He also made the biggest error in trying to fight where the mangudai were. He had a ton of horsemen he already knew they were there because of his scouts. he should have split up made 2 or 3 groups of horsmen to raid while he walled and boomed and transitioned to archers. Lsoing all that cav put hom so far behind it was basically gg at that point

Straight after aging around 4 mins you should go for 1/2 military buildings and produce non stop for the first attack/def. So I'm not kidding when I say around 5 mins in you have a barrack/archery range/stable that is constantly producing military units.
I have already familliarized mongol Feudal raiding, Castle all in, and Imperial boom. Now i'm completing the masteries and practicing against Hard and Hardest AI before i can confidently fight other players.. It has what i love about SC2 Terran and Zerg and i cant stop playing it ;-;
If you check the the price you pay for 2x trader between a normal market and the Silver Tree, you see that it costs less stone to do so as well. from 150 to 112. Pretty huge too!

I do like this strat and it’s fun to play. I’m not sure how viable mongols are in 1v1 on more open maps without walls. Also late game disadvantage at full pop without fortifications. Getting those oovo siege upgrades are essential. Gotta go for the kill and do it early.
I've tried the mongols last night for the first time but it's against a hard AI I've secured 15k resources each easily except for stone in 7k. I've never seen that active figure in all Age of games I've played since 1999 lols

They are at their strongest in open map 1v1 because the enemy base is much easier to raid
