@NoMetsNoNetsNoJets Singletary fumbles and Jones over throws both Nabers and Johnson on what would've been easy TDs. We can't make those same mistakes against Dallas and expect to win.
DJ was still a 1 read then check down guy in this game. He hit 18 of 20 short throws in the 1st half. Then he came down to earth in 2nd half 7 for 14. I'm sure Dallas will double Nabers. Safeties will go to side of field that DJ first looks. Don't see DJ being good on Thurs unless he can hit Hyatt/Slayton on long ball and they run ball well without fumbling.
Ohlock.....the more I think about it, and after reading your post, I agree with you. In fact the Giants made history last week losing a game, which they scored 3 touchdowns and no extra point conversions and allowed no touchdowns. Way to frustrating.
I know scoreboard says we scored 3 touchdowns but we really scored 4 touchdowns against the Browns defense which is impressive. I hope Phillips isn't out too long.
What a way for the Giants to fight back after how the game started with them fumbling the kickoff and immediately giving up a touchdown. Singletary needs to stop fumbling the first drive of the second half!
I was convinced, judging by the opening series of the 3rd Q we’d resorted back to the 0-2 Giants. For the main part we stopped playing. We gotta clean that up and play to the end…..Shoudda scored that final TD. It wouldn’t have come back to haunt us.
Agreed we gotta keep playing 4 quarters of football but it was a garbage TD and didn't matter. Teams have lost in similar circumstances. The smart thing to do is what Singletary did. Taking the kneel seals the win, getting the TD does not GUARANTEE the win - the Browns still have a chance to win, even if it's 1% it's still a chance. Taking the kneel is 100% a win.
