We have never, ever flown in early for a cruise. The one time we tried, the flight was cancelled and we missed it anyway. I'm not saying it's bad advise however, as I have lamented many times not visiting the port city in question and it took time to get my SO to commit to it. We are flying to Seattle two days early in May because I'm mad about seafood.

I advise that if anyone has to fly to a cruise that they do it at least one day before but I normally do two days before. We did that for our Alaska cruise from FL and that was a long day. We had a great time in Seattle and ended up staying an additional day at the end of the cruise. We fly to Boston in August to board an 11 Night Celebrity cruise and we are also doing two days before - we love the Boston area too. That is good advice LK!

My shower on the Eurodam in May was half yours. The cabin was similar as I was solo in 4173. The best part was my mini-fridge didn't work for 1.5 days and finally got it exchanged. Looking forward to more .😏

We also had some issues on the Eurodam during our panama canal cruise. Our shower had a bad smell coming out of the drain. The Rotterdam seemed like a completely different ship. There were some misses as with all trips but my Rotterdam review should drop on Friday. Thanks for sharing and for watching!

Great video and explanation of HAL embarkation system at the Port Everglades terminal. We will be on HAL Eurodam in April at Port E. and a first cruising on HAL (we're Disney). QUESTION: the HAL website states that one wine bottle per person is allowed in the carry-on, and there is a $20 corkage fee. Is the $20 fee to take the wine bottle on the ship or take it to the MDR and have it for dinner? We have the "Have it All," but sometimes, at least on Disney, we just want a glass of wine on the balcony and don't want to go all the way to the bar then back to the room..

Thank you so much! This is exactly why I like to make these videos! The wine bottles (2 per cabin which can be in the same carry on) are allowed and the corkage fee only applies to the public venues and the main dining room. If you are having a glass of wine in your cabin or on your balcony, there is no extra fee. There is a limit of 15 drinks per day with Have it All which includes the specialty coffees and bottled water but you should be fine. We have sailed the Eurodam during our Panama Canal cruise. I gave that cruise a mediocre review but looking back on it now, the few low marks are long forgotten and it was a very good cruise. I'll have my Rotterdam review out soon so check it out too! Thanks for watching!

@@seemoreseascruises3791 I saw your Panama Canal cruise video and was worried about the Eurodam score you gave it. I'm glad the Eurodam isn't as bad as first experienced. Thank you again for the wine and Have it All info.

Please correct the crooked plaques on your wall. I like your delivery but my eye is drawn to the grouping with Princess at the top and Holland America at the bottom.

It is so interesting how the angle of the camera distorts the angles of the pictures. It is not lost on me for sure! Thank you for mentioning. I understand. They are actually completely level, I'm developing a new set so that the camera angle does not distort the picture frame angles. Wow, this does look funky for sure. So sorry for the distraction. Thanks so much for watching!
