The easiest way (laziest) I've found to deflate most inflatables is to get most of the air out, like you said, then gently set a 4x8 sheet of plywood on it and walk away. Come back later and pump or squeeze out the last bit.
You guys have zero fun. 😅😅😅 Thanks for the review! I’m still on the fence on whether to get an actual rigid fishing kayak or this particular model… but I’m leaning toward the Isle Flywater. I fish both lakes and rivers, and it just seems to be my best bet!! Love that Bixpy motor. Cheers!
Jeff and Paul you probably had the fish laughing at you two ribbing each other! Isle looks wry nice and seemed to move well! Have to see once you kit it up!
I really want that thing! Two big wins are the space saving and the low weight. Price is not too bad. Question, if you just open the valves will it deflate enough to pack it or do you have to use the pump to suck all the air out?
Would I be better suited to mount my anchor wizard on the bow or stern? I usually fish rivers, might take my kayak on some smaller lakes. I usually try and go up stream so I have the current to help me back to the car when I am done fishing/tired. I like to anchor at a spot for a few minutes/break it down and move up.
@@paulglass7268 Thanks for the reply. If I'm going against the current and drop an anchor from the stern will that not pull me towards the anchor from the current and eventually my kayak will turn around the opposite direction and facing downstream?
How do you think it would fare on a river? I've thought about getting an inflatable since I live in an apartment but I just think with the wind and current I'd be getting move all over the place.
Inflatables are game changers I have the expedition 85 packraft. I have a video on my channel showcasing how long it takes to air up and rig up with all my accessories it's under 5 minutes and i'm on the water. Cost me $267, can handle category level 3 rapids. Price is a factor if they want these things to sell. $600-800 should be the price range of packrafts. No need for a trailer no need for a roof rack just some trunk space or back seat space and your ready to hit the water. I have kayak's i have boats paddleboards but the packraft is the only thing that always comes with me. Currently 4 states away and i'm deploying my packraft everywhere. Oh and mine weighs 10 lbs so i can throw it in a backpack and take it to any mountain while the one in this video you can't. You have to be near the boat ramp which goes against the idea of inflatable kayak/packraft.
That definitely serves a purpose. This is totally different from that, and that is good for some and bad for some. For someone looking to add a motor and crate and accessories, this makes way more sense. That and they are probably expecting to be near a ramp or launch. Packrafts are great for the reasons you listed. This is great for the reasons I listed. People like different things, and we showcase what we can.
BTW it's considered to be a mini skiff. Not kayak. Mini skiffs are better in every way than a kayak too. They can handle waves kayaks cannot even handle 1 foot of rough water.
It’s a go pro, only way we film when fishing. We have another camera but just haven’t been able to use it due to camera stabilization. So, next time we can try a different setting
@@aaanglers Hey I got this skiff and pumped manually, total set-up 10mins first try. I think I ran a mile once in my life. This was easy. My question, what is the best electric to buy for this. I am considering the Elite , Thrustme Kicker, or Epropulsion Spirit. Or some cheap Amazon electric but that means a stand-alone battery. I found it interesting that the product designer ran a 3hp Torqeedo and it hit 8mph. and was the fastest craft tested to date
It has a spot for sure. Certainly where someone cannot store large items. Eventually, people who do buy larger things end up buying places to hold larger things.
Thoughts on this hybrid inflatable?
I want one. I’ve own two other inflatables. Hobie Itrek 11 and Innovative Sportsman Osprey. Inflatables are awesome.
@@Noneya-z8jagree!
freshwater maybe... saltwater....Absolutely not..! Looks pretty cool though...
@@thudtrades1850 I’ve spent 100s of hours in mine in saltwater
@@thudtrades1850 why not in saltwater ? I’m curious to hear how you came to this conclusion.

@1500 that is nice for a 2 person that you can load and unload one person and gear stable as crap I need to get one of these
That thing looks like a ton of fun! Super practical, easy option
FINALLY!!!
You guys really need to do more inflatable content!!!
We JUST got them LOL. More on the way
wow nice thanks for sharing i loved it
Great video. That looks like a ton of fun especially with the Bixby motor. I could see myself running something like that. Thanks for the video.
🤘🏼
I would totally get one of these inflatables love it .
🙌
Best video I've seen on this product to date! Earned my subscription!
Thank you!
YES!!!!! Been waiting all day for this.

Kitting up ASAP!
Good stuff!!! I currently have an inflatable but want something I can attach a bixby to. Hopefully you make some more vids with this.
We will!
Once more, you guys show the fun in fishing- which is kind of the point anyways!
🙌
I want to know how this thing is gonna do in the ocean in waves and rough weather with one person. I'm tempted to buy one .
Super cool. This may be my next upgrade. Also like that new Newport NS130 too
Both great options
Yes! I’ve been eyeing up that NS130 for sure. Love the seat it comes with.
Now rig it with a couple rod holders and a fish finder and maybe a small down rigger and I’m sold!
That vid is coming in a few weeks
I would be interested to see how it handles and feels in less than ideal summer conditions. Don't be in danger, but wind and waves.
Wind you’ll get blown, waves aren’t an issue
It is more stable than any standard kayak
Cool skiff, not sure the seating would work for me, but if I had a good back I'd be down.
They have a captains chair we are gonna try and get.
@@aaanglers Would it be tippy if you got some kind of seat riser?
Nah, this thing is anti tippy, it would be fine
Plus you can stack the inflatable seat cushion for a little extra height
I really want that thing! Two big wins are the space saving and the low weight. Price is not too bad. Question, if you just open the valves will it deflate enough to pack it or do you have to use the pump to suck all the air out?
There is a button you have to press to release it
You can use the valves and pack it without the pump. Just takes a lil longer and a tighter fit in the bag
Hey how were you guys rigging that fluke? Just nose hooking it? I have yet to catch a fish on a fluke using the traditional in-line Texas rig hooks.
Yup, nose hook with a wacky/circle hook

We like a stern mount, and yes that will make you face downstream with the current. But you can still cast easily to the spots you want to fish.
Very informative. Good to see fellow danglers having so much fun. Tight lines.
How do you think it would fare on a river? I've thought about getting an inflatable since I live in an apartment but I just think with the wind and current I'd be getting move all over the place.
It's more stable than standard kayaks, so it will be amazing in a river. We are going to use it in our rivers.
I wanna see the carnage of a giant glide bait being spit into this thing by a bass
We will test it, but were not gonna wolverine claw it.
Inflatables and hooks, plyers, scissors, and fins.
We will be proving that they aren't that big a risk as we fish out of these for a while. If we're wrong, we'll sink and eat our words lol
how much is it gonna go for?
$1500-1600
That’s a lot
What's the weight limit?
Not sure of the total but 600lbs before the middle starts touching the water
600, performance. 700, capacity
Any word on price?
$1500 after pre release. Pre release is $1600
What Paul Said
@@paulglass7268 Thank you!
Who puts a hook in it first? Let’s get some bets going! What’s going to attack first goose or snake?
I’m betting Paul and a pike
Why are you using a traditional pump and not an electric one ? 😂
To test the pump it came with is my guess
Just to test it. It’s not bad and good exercise 😂
I went to buy one, out of stock!
They aren’t out yet, early release and pre sale are September I believe
Self bailing?
Yeah the back is open

Why do you have no fences surrounding your properties. Are they all like this in the neighbourhood, looks like no back fencing also.
Why would we have fences?
Are fences required??? Just a normal neighborhood…

Weird comment. We have an electric pump. Still only takes 8-10 min. Exercise is a good thing.

Lazy AF? 10 minutes of pumping for a day outside? Too much work?
