I was so convinced the Iatak was going to be my upgrade but now the Isle Flywater just looks better in every way. I can see use cases for each one but the Flywater just looks better to me. I’ll be curious to see the new Newport skiff in action too.
I have a Hobie PA14, so I am fine there, but I really like the Isle for fun on the water, especially with a NK300 and added a second seat to have someone else with me fishing or just cruising. The concept is well thought out, I can see another model coming out that would be a little bigger for two people who can fish comfortably. Isle really has a great idea and I love all the engineering behind it, that is what atracts me!
I've been super impressed with my NRS Kuda 126. I even deflated an entire side on the water for a test on my channel. It surpassed all my expectations! I'm thinking about the air skiff lite for a future motorized rig!
I have the BOTE Rackham Aero Apex PD Inflatable Paddle Board with the Newport NK180PRO, and while I enjoy it, I went and spoke to good people at Isle in National City, CA. I'm pre-ordered! I'll be mating an NK300 to it. I think Isle Flywater is superior to the Newport NS130 Lite Skiff Air.
Great vid! I'll be getting two of these this winter. I only fish the Pacific coastal waters and stability is paramount. Swell, waves, surf, wind, are what I fish in.
Man, that Isle is screaming for a 6hp Yamaha. Incredibly stable 😮 The Isle seems like it would be great in the sounds of NC. Great video, laughing the entire time
These are definitely made for someone for fun recreational use, I still love my plastic kayak boats! Thanks for sharing you guys kept me laughing loved the good time video content! Tight lines!
Get some yakattack switch pads and hh66 vinyl cement and you can absolutely mount a motor on the IATAK. Make a mount out of a cutting board. My son has one, we haven’t done it yet but we absolutely could. Tip, when you lay down a switch pad with hh66 make sure that’s where you want it because it is not coming off. 😂
@@aaanglers I hear you, bro! I'm 6' 3" and 220 myself! Got no problems at midship, but ain't no way I could hang at the bow or stern like her either. Maybe if I had the XTR 130... 😅
Bass dorsal fins will puncture these as well. I wouldn’t let a bass flop around in the floor. Other than that there is nothing that concerns me about puncturing one. I’ve spent many hours in them.
Join the club. This is what I was looking for 3 yrs ago. Only ones available at the time were super expensive(3-5k) imports from Europe. But I agree. 1600$ is fairly pricey. But not nearly as bad as many other yaks that aren't even close to the ISLE as far as modularity, stability & the ability to use with 1 or 2 people in the boat.
As mentioned, this is bot intended to be that video. There are other videos on UA-cam for that. Simply a stability test. We may try that in the future.
@@bass3587 For the ISLE Flywater you need to get their plate and transom. I don't think it's out yet. We just got one from them to test. They will make a transom mount for it as well. I think it should drop this fall. Or you can use a bixpy or other motor with a powerpole mount like this: bixpy.com/isle-bixpy-k-1-outboard-kit-power-pole-adapter-steering-bundle/?rstr=7740 MUCH more expensive than a standard trolling motor, but a great option if you can spend the money.
@@bass3587 Cool, You can put a Newport NK 180 or 300 on it too if you want. Also, for the IATAK, Bixpy makes a Fin attachment you can put your motor on: bixpy.com/slide-lock-fin-adapter-k-1-j-2-motors/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwoJa2BhBPEiwA0l0ImKxsg1v6ZXt7cKqiAxA9913BMzUvYMUkncrAr-0xiD_5RgEXnEnjOxoCaXsQAvD_BwE
Stability doesn't seem too bad and I like the idea from a transportation standpoint...but mentally I don't seem to be able to get past the idea that I am going to make a wrong turn, hit a sharp metal or wood object, and end up flying off into the sunset like an old Goofy cartoon...
You Knuckleheads be careful lol stuff can be replaced but a massive Head Wound and Death is forever. The basic PFD is just fine and I’ve seen Stearns autos fail in the Ocean. S.F.
Are these stable enough?
yeah
Thank you guys for more inflatable content 🙏
Please do more in the future!

The isle is a good choice for that
Love these inflatable videos. Thanks for doing these. So many misconceptions about them.

Been interested in the Wildy iAtak but have also notices that the NRS Kuda looks pretty good as well.
Absolutely

Nice!
I’d say NRS pike or Kuda vs the wilderness systems is the real question.
Wonder if they could make inflatable outriggers that attach via cup holder? 🤔
The Isle could be a great river camping rig
Definitely
Sweet Buzbe hat!
Thanks!
He said, "The @KristineFischer2289 fishing I would never do!" 🤣🤣🤣 Kristine is a G, when it comes to balancing on a kayak! 💯💯💯 6:57
She also has the benefit of being much smaller than me 😂. I can’t balance like that

Lets see a top speed on the Flywater with the new Torqeedo 6HP outboard.... :)
We really want to!
Don’t have one and torqeedo doesn’t wirk with anyone new right now.

Had a few flopping around no issues yet. Maybe just lucky
@@aaanglerswon’t happen every time, but it can.
If the mat in the floor is thick enough it likely wont be an issue.
Had the opportunity to show Debo how to not flip….😂
That skiff/yak seems sick wish I could afford that thing 😞

Watching Jeffs paddle just float out there is giving me hella anxiety
Haha, we chased it down
Need to get out in deep enough water where feet don't touch bottom and climb back in to simulate falling out while out fishing
As mentioned, this is bot intended to be that video. There are other videos on UA-cam for that. Simply a stability test. We may try that in the future.
Can you add a trolling motor on this inflatable?
Yes
