LA Dodgers well that’s different but if you look when a batter gets hit the catcher always checks them ... I’m a catcher for softball too so i understand lol
Very true when someone gets hit by the pitch. But they hate you when you throw them out after they get hit. Ive done this a few times and the reactions are fun
Yes. If someone gets bit by a shark, and didn't lose any body parts. That is a lucky injury. Get hit by a car on a freeway and survive, that's a lucky injury. There's a lot more but I think you should know by now that is a thing
I’m amazed everytime I see something like this video that the amount of time it takes for a doctor or a medic to come onto the field to minister help any other sport will have somebody on straight away baseball seems not to rush on even when it’s very serious they seem to be very very slow.
I was at the Braves/Cards game where Winkler got hurt. It was VERY cold that game. Especially for April in Atlanta. I've always wondered if that could have contributed anything to with him breaking him arm mid-pitch.
Found this channel and got excited but then I saw he only had 3 videos and got sad because I couldn't watch more. Keep up the good work man they are great videos.
The first vid i witnessed the same thing at a varsity game this year and it's very cringing to watch... Worst part was that he was only a junior but throwing High 80s nd low 90's.. I felt so bad for the guy. Luckily he took it well he kept a calm composer but man it's really scary to witness that up close 😕
2:30 this happened to me twice in the same little league game. First one went off my visor and then the 2nd time it cracked my chin open. Blood everywhere. Lots of stitches. Still got the scar on my chin 25 years later. I stopped playing this game after that. Never loved it anyway
I played fall ball for a couple of years, this one season my teammate ran home after a double was hit and he slid in, I believe hands/face first and he got up and walked to the dugout in pain and showed our coach his arm. it was disgusting, it was broken and bent up.. I was shocked
I play softball and ucl and elbow injuries are very rare but while throwing from right field to home i tore my ucl and flexor tendon and had me screaming it brings grown men to tears
Yeah arm ucl and elbow injuries are far lass common in softball because the throwing motion is much more natural than throwing a baseball so there is less wear and tear.
Remember the accident that changed the rules with the runner and catcher? I met the player for that rule change! He was in the Nationals farm team Harrisburg Senators
The catcher is always the BESTFRIEND for both teams
mackenzie reed I’m a catcher and umm some people hate me for getting them out from throw downs
Lol same
I love catching though
LA Dodgers well that’s different but if you look when a batter gets hit the catcher always checks them ... I’m a catcher for softball too so i understand lol

Winkler: gets hurt
Snack guy in the stands: LAST CALL FOR SNACKS! LAST CALL!
Me: should I keep watching or should I go get a snack
He said ice cold

jamanuel dickerson 🤭😂
Last call for alcohol. 7th inning is the last inning you can buy alcohol at MLB games so people can't drive home drunk.

Winkler: HELP IM DYING!!!

Swagin Burger 💀
I don’t understand what happened to him
Beviana Tuinei something i his arm snapped when he pitched causing him to pitch a wild pitch
Beviana Tuinei tommy john tear. Injury takes over a year and will probably ruin a pitchers career.
I got that same break as him. The little ball on the inside of your elbow snaps off and you have to have surgery to fix it. It hurts like hell.

Is there such a thing as a lucky injury?
I'm not to sure if their is
I think there’s only unlucky and normal injuries... normal being jumping off a roof then breaking your leg, or some sort of expected injury
D CHILL lucky would be jumping off a building and only spraining your ankle or something
If your parents force you to do a sport and you get hurt in the beginning of the season😂
Yes. If someone gets bit by a shark, and didn't lose any body parts. That is a lucky injury. Get hit by a car on a freeway and survive, that's a lucky injury. There's a lot more but I think you should know by now that is a thing

The first three injuries all the teams were playing the cardinals
PodcastFTW I hate the cardinals. Go cubs
Connor Cahill go brewers!!
My fav team ( the cardinals) are unlucky:(((
PodcastFTW go cards
Connor Cahill u just on the bandwagon. STL forever
2:34 kinda hard to tell if you're bleeding if you're wearing red gloves
Mottly i mean... not really. blood especially from the nose tends to be an even darker red than that of his gloves lol
i mean if your glove comes back wet guess what your bleeding........
Some blood
You have to be blind if you can't tell..
I mean over exaggerating and over Complicating things are really fucking stupid really dumb as fuck
Mottly gloves
why are the cardinals always in games where someone gets hurt
it's the cardinals way: if everyone else is hurt they win by default, coincidence? definitely not
it's the cardinals way: if everyone else is hurt they win by default, coincidence? definitely not
I was at a game when Robbie ray got hit in the head when the ball was hit by Luke Voitwhile pitching
I don’t think I’ve been to a cards game where someone doesn’t get hurt
i live about 2 hours from stl, and we go to cards games a lot (were cubs fans tho). now that i think about it, someone always gets hurt hahaha
Wtf is that music at 2:50 lmao
The Dbacks have an organist that plays at every home game. He was playing during the stoppage of play.
Will Roden 😂 I'm dying right now
He's pretty cool, I've met him before and I've never seen a game where he doesn't play.
The d-backs are known for playing the wrong music at the wrong time hahahaha
I bet someone could get hit and get knocked out and that would start playing
0:26 I keep rewinding it. The guy in the background goes " that's tuff" 😂😂😂
Nog Bot he says “last call”
He says "ice cold" he was elling some sort of drink
He said Ice Cold
I hear last call
I hear Ice Tuff.
the first like 3 minutes have had the cardinals involved.
coincidence... I THINK NOT
+BillyBob0007plays wait. 3 minutes. Illuminati triangle has 3 corners. NOT ENOUGH BASEBALL ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED.
+Zucora - Minecraft and more! No, the cardinals are the illuminati

Nice! Just earned a sub! I love to watch injuries before a softball game. :)
Haha, thanks!
Not Enough Baseball No problem :)
Dont you mean baseball?
Lisa Ayala No, softball because i'm a girl xD iwas playing btw )
oh haha
Love the respect by Yadi to go down and see if the batter that got hit was okay
Isaac Becker isn’t that what every catcher would do?
Nope
@@hibrother6764 #CubsFan
I love Yadi
Carl Wheezer
I’m a diamondbacks fan you imbecile
When the catcher from the other team helped the guy who got hit in the face, I think I gained some faith in society
Molina is the main man in STL
the catcher is yadi molina
Yadi is our boy. Nice guy, future hall of Famer. True pride seeing him on our team.
I love Yadi he is one of my favorites
That second injury, he did the FULL splits. 😬
He broke his arm

A lucky injury could be that you survive after a parachute fails to open and you hit the ground, but live. That's all I've got at the moment
B Dubs I was waiting for that comment
Well not ALL😂
@@cheezecake8807 so what injury you got ?
@@christinemielkiel3080 Currently, nothing. I forgot I even wrote that comment.
surprised that the haven't had the game against the Mets where Rim Hudson got his ankle stepped on/broken while covering first base
I was watching that game because Tim Hudson is awesome. That was nasty
Rim Hudson
Having broken my ankle before watching the last one..I hid, I can remember that pain. You can't move except to writhe in agony.
that last one makes me mad, that short stop had no business that far out in left
I just stumbled across your channel. Keep the videos coming!
Thanks, I love to see new people find my channel!
+Not Enough Baseball u have fake subs 2 days ago u had 132 nowu have 572

dang. my cards love being at games where guys get injured
No kidding
was just thinking the same thing lol
StevKevin I was at the Cards-Padres game when Pujols took out the pitcher and the catcher in one half inning. Crazy to see.
I love the cardinals, but i cant remeber who hit the ball when robbie ray got hit in the head at busch. I think it was Jose Martinez or Matt Carpenter
I hope Aoki is...
..Aokay 😮
Wow *clap clap clap

I actually fully gasped at some of these
catchers are like that one friend that is friends with both rival groups
Batter breaks own nose. Then the DJ comes in with the upbeat music.
this isn't the video I was looking for. I was looking for mlb: lucky injuries, not unlucky ones.
all of these can be considered lucky for the opposing team
I love the dude in the first clip going “That’s tuff, that’s tuff.”
Ugh, I can never watch these kinds of videos. Still I watched a little and it's probably a nice video
Thanks
:o such a quick reply
Me too. Hate seeing people get hurt. Couldn't watch it all.
i love how yadi is always the first person to go help the batter even if they’re not on his team

What's up with the team I root for the cards, how they are involved with all the injuries...
I was at the Braves/Cards game where Winkler got hurt. It was VERY cold that game. Especially for April in Atlanta. I've always wondered if that could have contributed anything to with him breaking him arm mid-pitch.

The tears aren't just from the pain of an injury, but from the realization that your season is likely over.
Why are baseball injuries so hard to watch
Because baseball is such a fast game, when you get hit it was most likely coming at you at 90 mph unlike soccer or football
AZRubs That’s extremely debatable.
@Ordonity with the new rules at second and home id say it pretty much is no contact these days
Found this channel and got excited but then I saw he only had 3 videos and got sad because I couldn't watch more. Keep up the good work man they are great videos.
