As great as Miggy's steal of third and score was (40th career steal), I can't believe that you didn't show that he had also taken 2nd a couple pitches before... but I guess it wasn't a steal because it was on a wild pitch.
Too many of these are not stolen bases, it’s defensive indifference. The first one with Big Juicer against the Jays, nobody moved, the catcher didn’t even cock his arm to throw - defensive indifference.
@@johnhunter2294 defensive indifference is a team not holding a runner on and the catcher making no attempt to throw through if a player makes a break for another base. The Jays were not holding Big Juicer on, the catcher made no attempt to throw through and the middle infielders did not move to the bag. The score has nothing to do with it - in fact tight scores late in games is when this happens most often.
@rickbateman2401 if I may point out, the reason why there was no throw was because of the ridiculous jump that Big Papi had. If it was ruled defensive indifference, then that'd be 'punishing' (for lack of a better term) the player for having a good jump.
@@randomstuff508 Big Papi got to second because nobody cared. The catcher didn’t even consider throwing and the middle infielders didn’t cover. That’s textbook defensive indifference. Papi could have been half way to second before the pitcher released the ball and they could have thrown him out. If that play happens in any other ball park but Fenway, it’s scored as defensive indifference.
Pretty poor compilation. Thumbnail shows Dan Vogelbach, but no video. Clips of 'slow' runners include Gallo (313th fastest out of 621 players per statcast 2015-22) and Piscotty (435th), but exclude the likes of Billy Butler, Prince Fielder, Jesus Aguilar, Willians Astudillo and dozens of slower base-stealers!
Your right about gallo, but I just put him in there because he doesn’t have many stolen bases. Piscotty is 507th, I don’t know where you got 435th from. Also there is 552 players combined on all mob rosters, not 621. I was looking for clips of those others you mentioned and could only find two of fielder and one of butler

I’m beyond impressed at how the umpire saw turner as safe in real time. What a special eye
Why tf he tag his helmet tho☠️
@@BuMPiHD Yeah, I agree. If you tag their clothes, it should be an out. The helmet messed up his tag.

Man, I miss Vin Scully. Dodgers games still feel weird without him on the call even 6 years after he hung up the headset
Billy Butler once stole a base in the ALDS lmao
Molina and Pujols could actually run decently slow in these, now they are about as slow as anyone I've ever seen, especially Molina 😅
I just went to a Cardinal game last night and Yadi stole third. I’m pretty sure he stole it standing.
I’ll definitely put that into the part 2
Bro big papi's jumps are insane. Legit running a full second before the delivery 💀
I got brought here under false pretenses, thinking it would be showing Vogelbach stealing a base!
He doesn’t have any stolen bases in his career
Saw Gallo on his horse the other day.. he’s not THAT bad 😂
Useless trivia: the first Big Papi one probably wasn't scored as a steal due to Defensive Indifference. It was probably scored as a Fielder's Choice.
It was in Boston and since the home stadium provides the “official” scorer, it probably did get listed as a SB.
No one cares about your useless speculation, look up what happened or shut up.
You missed Billy Butler stealing 2nd against the Angels in the 2014 ALDS.
I'm still looking for the guy in the thumbnail of the video. Can someone let me know where Vogelbach is in the video

Vogelbach didn't steal a base in the video and he's on the cover of the video

I would have never thought that grandal would steal a base
Couple of these are not slow players, like Joey Gallo is not a slow runner lol
He’s the only one
What is heppening at 5:32? looks like Gallo is saying it.

I wouldn't call it indifference; it's a 5-3 game in the seventh inning and he moved into scoring position. Some of them are, yes, but not that one.

Where’s Vogelbach?
clickbait
I can listen to Vin calling a stolen base all day
I love the guys you can time with an hour glass stealing a base. Oh by the way they want it back.

Just saying But Mike Sweeney once stole home
This video couldn't be called "clickbait" if it had been headlined, MLB Quality Draining in a Swirly of Ineptitude.
Cecil Fielder stole a base too.
Gallo ain’t that slow
Compared to everyone else he is
Either is Piscotty or Cano
Right -- Even now, I think he's what we could call "good/average."
0:10 Only the Dbacks let players with Tom Brady speed easily steal against them
Cano was fast. He was doping.
baseball isnt boring but is one of the most laid back team sports that we have IMO
Yeah definitely lots of waiting around, but I’m using this channel to post the cool and exciting moments.
Feels so weird seeing Pujols in anything other than a Cardinals jersey... Especially now that he's back there where he belongs, lol.

Joey gallo is not slow
He’s average, but he doesn’t steal bases that much so I put him in there
You son of a b**Christ Yadi's is not slow
Yes he is
