- Welcome to our video on a stunning 16km hike up two Scottish Munros, Beinn Teallach and Beinn A Chaorainn. In this video, we'll take you on an adventurous journey through the beautiful Scottish countryside alongside Paddy the dog and Paul as they make their way to the top of these two stunning peaks. With a total ascent of 1172 meters, this is a challenging and rewarding hike that promises breathtaking views, stunning landscapes, and an unforgettable experience. We'll begin our journey from a forestry track just off the A86 road and make our way up the hills, taking in the breathtaking scenery along the way. It was a cracking day Stevie! That sunrise was spectacular and it only lasted for a short time! Paddy’s wee jacket has been a godsend! He used to get too cold I think so this has been great!!!

My videos are not professional like yours went to Scotland last December some clips on UA-cam next trip will be April to Scotland planning on doing a back pack from loch Maree around Beinn an eoin Baosbehinn and Beinn Dearg so keep your videos coming as I don’t get to go North as much as I would like thanks

@PA ADVENTURES yea. Not really good as your videos. Trying to get better. Am guessing trial and error. Am taking my son up meikle bin on Sunday. Am hoping anyway if he doesn't complain lol. Trying to get him involved.
Alan, Im nearly 3 years doing these wee videos and its all a learning process. I just try to keep the camera steady, capture the scenery and not talk too much rubbish! lol.
Yeah get him out away from all the electronics and stuff! fresh air and exercise!
Hi Paul, What a super weather day and a nice outing on these two. The views south are stunning with the defused light giving a balance to the movie. You'll be glad to get the Munro total moving again now that the winter appears to be phasing out. Cheers, Charlie
It was a super day Charlie. The light was amazing and I only saw one person the entire day! Feels quite remote down in the Glen! What did you think of the GoPro footage? I think it was darker than my other camera? Interested to know your thoughts! Thanks Paul
@@PAADVENTURES1 I didn't see any problem with footage and it looks fine on the big screen. It was a mixed light day and the camera would have to handle the snow and defused light in the sky which it managed pretty well. Obviously underexposed is better and can be tweaked in post but the conditions probably merited +1 on the exposure while shooting but its marginal. Its a good starter for you... Cheers, Charlie
Thanks Charlie. I was footering with the settings and the one I wasn’t too sure about was setting the ISO max and min? Think I set it at 100-800? Not quite sure on what’s best there? Good fun though and much more compact with just the small foam windshield 👍
@@PAADVENTURES1 I have the ISO at 100-1600 with white balance in auto. I haven't changed these since I got the camera. Cheers.

Morning Duncan! thanks! such a great comment. Its very much appreciated. So this is on a GoPro 10. Its the first time I have used it even though I have had it for ages. I have used my iPhone for the last year or so. The GoPro will need a bit of tweaking and understanding the settings as I think the footage may be a little dark. Nice one Paul. First 2 of the year! What’s your target number for this year? Did these 2 in the summer but the other way. Didn’t like the heather bashing heading up the first or the dip between the 2 but the views were superb! Did you get a new Go Pro? Good footage 👍
Morning Andrew! first two new Munros this year! January always seems to be a quiet month for me....I was hoping to get to the 230 mark? there or thereabouts? Got a guide for SKYE booked in may and hopefully do the South Glenshiel Ridge and the Fannichs which will put a wee dent in the totals...What about you?
Its a big drop down the way I came but an even bigger climb the way you did it!!!!
I have a GoPro 10 but never used it since I got it a few months ago..I use my phone for most of my wee videos...Did you think the images were ok? Im not so sure yet....
@@PAADVENTURES1 An ambitious target then Paul, I'm hoping for 35 this year to take me to 165 and then 35 next year for 200. I don't get out as much as you! I have a weekend booked in kyle of lochalsh in May so hoping to get some of the Cuillins done and maybe head up to Torridon. Will get a few overnights in FW as well and I am hoping for Glen Shiel 7 this year too. I have always used a Go Pro so I dont know anything else, but always been impressed with it. I'm sure once you use it more you will find it does the job! 👍
