What a great car! Three on the tree was a great transmission. Also with the overdrive. Once the overdrive kicked in it really run smooth down the road.
Im a big ford fan.the cars from the late1930,$ the 1940,$ the 1950$ the earlier 1960$. Yes the 1957 ford is a car of great beauty .i wish i could have that type of car now. The one daddy had back in the 1960$ had a 312 c.i.engine .some came with a 292 c.i.engine. at least ypu could roll the windows by hand and open the door with the door knob on the door and the ignition switch was on the left side of the dash.i like that too.the body style.great shape.i like that look.the two tone oaint jobs i like the most are red and white or grey and white. Ours was green and white.even the station wagon was green and white.you see more two door fords than you did the four door fords you would think you would see them both even.now days station wagon is a thing of the past.the old style us a thing of the past.📸👍💯👀
I like the Fairlane (not 500 better) I had one in 1959, Red, Stick, big engine. Word was they ran out of engines, and put a 58 police Interceptor. It ran super. ??

Back when Fords were of sound quality. It was America's best selling car make. Fine car you got on your hands.
