    Chi meglio di Pietro Frosini poteva eseguire la Rapsodia da lui composta? Bellissima esecuzione per tecnica, sensibilità e interpretazione. Si tratta di un brano di non facile esecuzione e in alcuni punti richiama alla mente il grande compositore russo Wladislaw A. Solotarjow. Poi, sentire la mano e la tecnica di Frosini è sempre una grande emozione. Complimenti.

    it's amazing and it seems so obvious!!! why is it the first time that I hear this kind of music played on an accordeon? THE WORLD MUST BE CHANGED! isn't it?

    I found Frosini recordings on cylinder records (Edison Recordings). Must be his earliest.

    In the book the Golden Age of the Accordion they describe Frosini's bass layout - buttons would sound individual notes or octaves, covering a very wide span. Unique far as I know. There are pictures in that book of other accordions with the combination of buttons and keys on the treble side too; some were "mock keyboards" designed to make the user look more modern, as the piano accordion only became ultra-fashionable in the 1920s.

    Nel 1898 divenne allievo del Maestro Francesco Paolo Frontini, e sotto la sua guida ha studiato composizione, armonia, ecc .. "P. Frosini". A quanto pare, Frosini ha adottato questo nome in omaggio al suo maestro F P Frontini quando ha iniziato la sua carriera negli Stati Uniti e non ha mai usato il suo nome. - saluti
