    I recently bought a bag on FASHIONPHILE and used RESERVE to make my payments. The reserve option on FASHIONPHILE is layaway, which might seem like a good idea if you’re going to drop $1000+ on designer products. In this video I share my honest review and my experience using it. If you want to buy from this website you SHOULD see this review to inform yourself before buying anything.

    Not really a scam but that was absolutely terrible customer service. There have been a lot of people complaining about the customer service. You’d think Fashionphile would read it and try to fix it or at least look into what they can fix. You did the right thing by not getting the bag.

    I agree that you should have been compensated in some way, but it’s not a scam. Mistakes happen. They have proven to be the most honest and reliable lux source I’ve worked with.

    So far I’m ok with fashionphile I bought 5 items on them with no problem they are very helpful and they give you consideration to extend your payment. I’ve been a client since 2007 . I’m super happy with their costumer service. I’m so sorry to hear your bad experienced with them. I love my items that I bought with them ❤️❤️❤️

    Sorry but I don't understand why they should give you more money than you pay... Why? Because you don't have the bag in the 3 or 4 days you expect. Do you want the bag or not like the lady said..... Sorry but you don't want the bag and I don't see the problem.... Sorry but I think that you see a chance to get some money about the situation.....

    This is not a story of a scam.
    It is a story of poor customer service.
    I too am a stickler for great customer service when shopping with a company,especially luxurious purchases.
    Imo,that should just be a given as I really think good customer service is included with the pricing /purchasing of luxury items.
    This was a computer issue,glitch not necessarily because of human error.
    Personally I would have given you a extra 5 to 10% off the bag or your next order ,your choice...
    This would make up for your wasted time and frustration.
    I definitely wldn't want my customers attaching negativity to any shopping experience with my company,that's just me though.
    That's how you keep customers especially back in the day.
    You actually admitted that you will purchase with them again just not right away,not sure why.
    THAT IS A PART OF THE PROBLEM!
    They must realize that many others are like you and won't hold them to a standard.
    If you will actually STILL shop with them ,then what is their incentive to change their customer service practices?
    But it's still not a scam, it's just not...

    So what I’m hearing is that Fashionphile made a mistake and they didn’t handle it very well. In turn you deliberately put up a video misleading people into thinking you got scammed by them…which you didn’t, you just didn’t get what you wanted. And all because after they fixed the problem (which yes was 100% their fault), they wouldn’t give you more than the 50 percent discount you were already getting on the item?

    I haven't bought from Fashionphile, only sold to them. I am too lazy and nervous to sell on my own.
    I don't think I will buying anymore lux bags, not worth it.

      I sell on eBay and StockX it’s easy! Nothing to be nervous about. And as far as lazy it’s not much more work that selling to fashionphile. List at a reasonable price and wait for the sale.

    Fashionphile used to be a good company. Now they are a victim of their own success. They are understaffed and overwhelmed and can't keep up with their basic daily responsibilities. Checking in of items takes much longer now as do payouts. Not to mention actually reaching customer service is impossible these days.

      I agree they used to be a vey good company. I would shop with them before retail because of all the perks, but since the shut down and staff reduction, not only are payouts and shipping delayed and much slower, there is a real problem with correct and accurate product descriptions. Errors in color, size and flaws. I have had to send back 3 items due to incorrect descriptions. 2 items in one order that cost me the benefit of the 10% savings sale last year. I hope they return to their old standards.

    Hey girl , maybe I missed this part , I was listening while getting ready for work , but were you ever even given a reason as to why your order was cancelled out in the first place ? I think it’s a disgrace that a company this large , that is making this kind of money by price gauging did not offer you as a customer any type of incentive to shop with them again after the entire screw up was theirs ! There should have been an apology followed by maybe them giving you a $50 gift card towards your next purchase or some thing ! There is no way a company as large as them couldn’t hook you up with some thing. I have purchased from them in the past but recently they have really gotten out of control with price gouging and then they give you lowball offers for things that you are selling I totally get that they have to make money but to give the customer an amount then turn around and sell it for sometimes more than triple what they paid for it , is a turn off to me . I totally get supply and demand but their prices have gotten ridiculous . I know that LV has just implemented a new chip system with their bags , I wonder how these resellers are going to be able to prove authenticity with Louis Vuitton . Thanks for sharing your story

    I have a Fashionphile horror story as a seller. They are aweful! You were incredibly accommodating and they were SO rude! Not a Fashionphile fan myself. So far I e made only two purchases from them. But I e sold them a ton and they are OUTRAGEOUS. Thanks for sharing.

    I'm sorry for your experience, customer service did not handle this well. But, they did not scam you, they just not willing to give you further discount to make up the wait. Not taking the side, I had bad experience with Fashionphile too, but this is definitely not a scam. Your title is misleading.

    I have great experience with them. I like the reserve option and if you don't like the item you can sent it back and will lose the 25 % since you had on reserve for two months. but is understandable since they put it on hold for you.... sorry to hear this happen to you.

    I had a similar experience several years ago. I ordered a vintage LV bag and, was excited to receive the bag. When I didn't receive a shipping email, I was concerned. I checked the website and, noticed the bag had been relisted on the site. I called customer service which provided no service. I was told that my credit card did not go through therefore the order was cancelled. I contacted AMEX and, was told that the order went through and Fashionphile cancelled the order. Called them back, the person who I spoke to was clueless and, of course there was no supervisor available. I was turned off from them and, decided I would never do business with them. I have bought one bag recently becaue some of my favorite UA-camrs shop from there however, it is sad that years later their customer service still sucks. BTW, how does the whole accouting department go on vacation at the same time???

      Wow! That sounds like an awful experience! When I posted this video, Fashionphile did reach out to me but only to tell me AGAIN that they did "fix" the problem.

    I'm afraid of receiving a non authentic handbag. I have read that they have made mistakes authenticating so once I read that....I only own one pre loved and its a Michael Kors from The Real Real. I wanted an orange leather bag that was not expensive. All of my high end luxury bags are from the boutiques or Neiman Marcus. I always find sales on Neiman Marcus (except LV). Great video!

      Careful! Just found out the bag they sold me is not an authentic Louis Vuitton bag! They’re in the middle of giving me refund and it’s been almost a month. They gave $100 gift card for the inconvenience? Really? Sell me a fake bag and only give me $100?

    Very horrible! I’m dealing with them right now. The bag they sold me came back as not authentic. They now have the bag and are aware it was fake.

      OMG this is what I’m scared of with the bag I just received. The dustbag they sent it with looks fake and is super huuuge. I own other pochette metis bought directly from LV boutiques and the dust-bags are very different.

      @@karlavalle2112 you can take it to another authentication group. There are some on Facebook that will charge you like $10 to check with pictures. I’m so disappointed about the entire situation because what if I tried to sell to one of my groups on social media and they turn around and put me on blast for selling them a fake LV bag. I just returned another Gucci bag I purchased from them because I honestly don’t even want to deal with them. I’m still waiting for my refund and for the inconvenience they sent me a $100 gift card lol. What a joke

    yes i return a bag to them and they said they didn’t receive it i had to pay for a bag i don’t have and the insurance didn’t cover me because i used their shipping label so be careful

    I’ve had a similar situation where the bag I bought had a rivet missing when I received it. I immediately called them because I didn’t want to be blamed. The offered to wave the restock fee.. I laughed well you should because that wasn’t listed or shown in the description. Prior to that bag I bought one that was supposed to have a tag but didn’t they did the same thing but I was relentless and they offered me $100 if I wanted to keep them. SMH! They should do better. They are slowly losing me. It has to be a significant discount for me to buy from them.

    Just found your vid- I had an IT issue also with a layaway item on a piece of jewelry. My bigger complaint is how they treat sellers like CRAP.. The lowballing is outrageous. They make $1k profit on a given item while I lose. They are completely understaffed and cannot keep up. I see SO many mistakes in their listings.
    People -sell your stuff on eBay or StockX ! It’s easy and you will keep more of your money! I just sold a Nano Speedy on eBay and made $600 more selling it myself. We don’t need them.

    100% They should have rectified the issue. Gave you even 5% extra off just to apologize for what happen. Since it was fashionphile fault. Customer service failed big time and that right there can make someone not buy from them. They lost a sale because of it. That’s good you didn’t buy it.

    I recently sold a bag to the , I have sold many, many, bags to them, beautiful bags as I am a compulsive buyer and tire easily, it’s just fun for me as I don’t get out much as I care for my husband, I love bags so much, my associates understand my situation and text me pictures of purses they think I will like and ship it to me...sooooo. I recently purchased a mini capucines trimmed with snake skin...I after all decided it was too small for me, they gave me an offer which I accepted......then I got an email telling me it was irregular! They just sent it back to me...I had never worn the bag, when I re dived it...it had damage on the handles where they had pushed up on the lizard on the handle......THATS it.........no explanation of what was wrong.........I had pictures, but they said it is in same condition...anyway...they just treated me so badly....insulted me after being such a good customer for years...my bags I sell are in either never worn or in brand new condition,...I THINK THEY HAVE JUST GITTEN TOO BIG......THEY ARE NO LONGER “USED” BAGS AT A GOOD ORICE.....NO......I SOLD THEM A2021 CHANEL LAMB MINI I. GREEN, WITH RAINBOW HARDWARE.....THEY OFFERED ME $3700 but I notice they sell them for $6000 to &7000. AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THEIR BIRKINS,..,,,ITS A WHOLE NEW WIRLD.........THEY DO YOU A FAVOR BUT THRY ARE MAKING A FORTUNE FROM HOUR BAGS.....I AMREAL,Y PISSED.....ITS NOT THE MONEY JUST THE ATTITUDE TO ME, A REALLY GOOD.       What happened to you?
      I just received a bag from them today and the dust bag looks fake, is not the dust bag for this bag. I emailed them and I hope they fix this. I’m nervous now questioning it’s authenticity. If the bag didn’t have the original dustbag they should of disclaimed that in the description. I wonder who authenticated this bag that didn’t realize that it didn’t have the original dustbag and if you can’t realize about that what else are you missing and letting go of.

      @@karlavalle2112 it’s becoming quite a long story, but in a nutshell, they sold me a bag that was supposed to be new. It was a chanel metallic gold square mini flap. When I received it, I immediately noticed the symmetry of the quilting and the structure was all off. On top of that, the retail tag attached said made in Italy, while the bag itself said made in France. I immediately packaged her up and returned her the next morning with the UPS label which fashionphile provided me with. Two days later, I tracked the package and saw that it was delivered and signed for. I heard nothing or saw nothing on my fashionphile account regarding the return weeks later, so I contacted them. They said that they would open a UPS investigation and follow up with me, but asked for me to wait and give them an entire month. One whole month while they held over 4K of my money! Fast forward to this past week, I received an email from them saying that they were denying my refund, and that they were deactivating my account. I was utterly shocked! They gave me no explanation whatsoever and refused to share any of the information with regards to the UPS investigation. This whole ordeal has been nothing short of a complete nightmare! Please spread the word around so that this does not happen to you or anyone else! Make sure to document every single thing if you are ever processing a return with fashionphile. UPS said that merchants have been known to receive refunds from UPS, while holding onto The customer’s money. I have no clue as to what is going on. I just pray I get some answers and get my money back!!

      @@helloaiya hey there. Yes, after 4 tortuous months, I finally got my money back only because I opened a complaint through PAYPAL. Thank god I used PayPal to make my purchase because FP and UPS pretty much shut me out, refusing to tell me anything. It was insane, almost like a conspiracy to cover up their mistake. Anyhow, I thankfully had a happy ending, but only after months of worry, stress and frustration!

    Thank you for the vid, so helpful! I've been Chanel browsing but was concerned about their credibility. In my opinion if you're distributing high priced goods, customer service should be gold. Can you recommend anyone else with authentic Chanel bags? I've been browsing yoogies closet, and vestaire collective too.

      Yoogie YES, but Vestiaire shipping sucks and their customer service is even worse than FP, because they are controlled by bots. The message is that it can take up to 72 hours to answers you👀😳😱.

      Vestiaire has there scam and customer service issues too. I have had 2 horrible experiences with then, but I think at this point you just take each issue as they come no matter who you do business with. I do think scam was not the right title for the video, it was certainly a CS issue.

    So, selling with them was not a great experience because they definitely low ball me on a piece that was in excellent condition. I literally have two items in my cart as I am writing this and don't feel so sure about purchasing them. So this video helps a lot, I am a big believer on learning through other people's experiences. I am the girl that goes straight to the boutique but Chanel is very far from me and I heard their customer service is not great but really just want three items from them. So, I wanted to try the smaller item from my wishlist with fashionphile to see how everything goes but your story does not make me feel good about purchasing from them.

    I have a Fashionphile horror story as a seller. They are aweful! You were incredibly accommodating and they were SO rude! Not a Fashionphile fan myself. So far I e made only two purchases from them. But I e sold them a ton and they are OUTRAGEOUS. Thanks for sharing.
