Thank you so much for sharing this video. It’s helped us prepare & what to expect for our IVF journey in Vietnam soon. Good luck and baby dust ✨to you both. 💞Xoxoxoxoxo
In fact, the health map, ivf in Vietnam is number 1 in the region. Low cost and high efficiency. I am very satisfied, Vietnamese people are very friendly and hospitable, safe If you need any advice about Vietnam, don't hesitate to send me a message
Maybe I just haven't watched enough of the videos yet but can you tell me the vietnamese laws about ivf? My partner is from Vietnam and can speak the language however we are not married and we both live in the USA I was born here and he was born in Vietnam... how many embryos will they use? Did you need to stay for the full cycle (meds then egg harvesting, then fertilizing and embryo testing, then transfer?)
Hi Liz, unfortunately I am not well versed with the vietnamese laws on ivf. The hospital I had my asked for my marriage certificate though. For the embryos you will decide how many to transfer. I only had two embryos and decided to transfer both. You will need to stay the whole duration for the meds and harvesting as well as the fresh transfer. However if it will be a frozen transfer like us, you may schedule another trip when you will be doing the transfer.
Hi Mike! The time we made this video (2018), they didn't ask for any documents or marriage certification, they only asked for our passport. We went again this year for another IVF and they required us to provide an apostille for our marriage certificate, and apostille for our passport, then we had it certified to our local Vietnamese Embassy back in the Philippines. After all that, you'll will need to have a certified translation from Vietnam. Luckily, the authorized transalation office is located only 3km from the hospital where we had our IVF.
First of all thank you again for posting your experience. I’m currently in US, planning to go VN in Feb to get the IVF done as well. Can you suggest how long I should stay there? Will 5 weeks be enough? Also sorry I didn’t understand why you have to wait 3 months in order to have it implanted. Is that the normal waiting time?
Hi! Yes 5 weeks will be enough for the fresh transfer. For my case I have myoma so fresh transfer is not an option since I have to take medicine for 3 months to make the myoma smaller before having the transfer. Good luck on your journey! Sending lots of baby dust!

Hello! How much is the ivf procedure in Taiwan? thanks
We haven't tried Taiwan yet. In Vietnam it cost around 3500 USD for the whole procedure including meds at that time.
Can unmarried couples do IVF in Vietnam?
