I like this quote I came up with. Like an evil false prophet with no faith facing off against a superpowered bishop with a good yet strong heart who has a firm sense of faith. While playing dnd with my friends we had a simillar moment . We fight against Asmodeus and he asks our paladin :"Where is your puny god now?" (reffering to Lathender) . And our paladin replies with :"His light , his brilliance is shining brightly in the hearts of all who are righteous " or something like that , then proceeds to deal 900 fucking radiant dmg to Asmodeus .

From what I could have seen from the first comment of yours I understood that you are pretty much saying (in your own words) that "religion is opium of people". Well, that is certainly true, if God does not exist. It is a necessary conclusion, if you believe that there is no God and the world has no purpose, then everything that comforts people and won´t let them see this "fact" is logically false. With the opposite view (which I hold) in the world created and governed by good God, everything that underlines the fear, horror and ultimately evil as the only true characteristics of the world and our lives seems suspicious and in the end untrue. In short, the truth of the claim "religions are a desperate attempt to escape the truth of reality" relies and depends on your grasp of the the "truth of reality", in which you can only believe, just as I do with my faith. Anyway, if the system won´t start working I´ll probably stop answering, because it is weird to react with only partial idea of what you were saying. Very impressive writing but i am gonna be honest with how epic this music and monster shown in it, it feels like waste of a climax, an enemy that the hero needs to fight alone since no angel or god can help against this thong

They forget that the 'King' of Demons, Satan himself, loses to an Archangel (Michael), and Archangels aren't even the highest class of angel. Sorry, but 'since no angel or god can help against this thing' just doesn't work. Second, the climax can be earned in many other ways. Perhaps that nameless paladin was a man who lost his faith. Perhaps the paladin lost a loved one or had unanswered prayers that caused him to lose faith in God, (like Bram Stoker's Dracula)? But then the lands around him came under assault from hellish forces. That paladin would be faced with a choice: join the darkness, or return to the light to save innocent lives, nor matter how hard the latter option is. People keep focusing too much on 'external' battles, and they forget that sometimes the hardest and most epic battles are fought on the inside. So, after that paladin finally vanquishes his inner demons in a terrible internal conflict (that may even manifest in reality), the invading demons on the physical plane quickly falls prey to a man who's realized that it's never too late to find forgiveness, that for every 'evil' there is something 'good' to match it, and that no matter how strong the Darkness seems to be, Light will always be stronger still.

This is big inspiration for a main character in my story... hes a myserious being in between hero and villain, more so on the villainous side-- where he is planning on absolutely demolishing everyones lives without any form of mercy for his own selfish reasons. Regardless, the people on his side do not question him in the slightest. It's a story told kind of from the villains perspective and this helped a lot :) (Edits!!: He isn't outright going to ruin everyone's lives for fun, hes targeting certain groups of people, partially for revenge, to prove a point and to seek out a life that was stolen from him. So ultimately, selfish reasons depending on the side you take)

The villain cuts a legend’s throat, killing the “last” legend “Heh, couldn’t even save *them*…” The villain laughs maniacally as they point their main weapon to the hero who has already been bruised and beaten to the ground “Now tell me, “hero”” “Where is your god now?”
The 'hero' raises his fist as he taps into sheer willpower to stand up with his now mangled body. Blood was staining his hair and dripping from the horribly ruined arm and slashed eye. Behind him, the sidekick shouts, "Don't do it! We can live to fight another day!" Rather than listen to him, the 'hero' merely smirks as he lowers his remaining arm and gathers energy into it. He then looks back at the friend who had been there through thick and thin. A person who, even at this moment, played the role of the cowardly weakling. But he knew better. It's only in perspective. If this friend stood alongside anybody else, he'd be the bravest there is, as only this friend stuck by him. Others ran or killed themselves to get here, but this friend of his? He held on. But he also knew a bitter truth. He was on his last legs. If he tried to run now, it would leave not only this friend dead but also everyone else around both of them who fought on. The villain until now had been toying with them, only killing those he deemed to pose a significant challenge. Taking everything into consideration, a tear runs down his face as he runs at the villain with the last of his golden energy violently pulsating from his palm. With one final warcry, he swings his golden fist at the enemy only to get impaled by the big bad's mightier fist. "And here I thought you were smarter than this, *hero* " the villain smirks. "I am deeply disappointed in-" But before the villain could continue, the hero powers through the attack and clamps his golden hand down on the arm impaled into his stomach as the light begins to envelop both of them. "What the hell are you doing?!" The sidekick shouts to which the hero's smirk grows into a full-on smile. "This is the end for me... it's up to you now..." "W-what the hell?!" The villain shouts, for the first time being perturbed by the hero's level of determination. With a melancholic smile, the hero tells the sidekick, "Buddy, stop believing in me that believes in you, or the you that believes in me. Believe in the you that believes in yourself! You got this!" "What the actual hell do you think you are doing you fool!?" The ultimate evil roars out as it tries to remove its arm from the hero's stomach. "I'm taking a gambit... in the future..." With that, the hero turns to the villain and lets loose a scream that seems to resonate with the very Earth. It blows away all the hero's companions, including the sidekick who could do nothing but scream his best friend and idol's name. Where the hero and villain once stood, a bright golden pillar of light emerges, momentarily piercing the darkness all around the two, engulfing everything nearby.

From what I could have seen from the first comment of yours I understood that you are pretty much saying (in your own words) that "religion is opium of people". Well, that is certainly true, if God does not exist. It is a necessary conclusion, if you believe that there is no God and the world has no purpose, then everything that comforts people and won´t let them see this "fact" is logically false. With the opposite view (which I hold) in the world created and governed by good God, everything that underlines the fear, horror and ultimately evil as the only true characteristics of the world and our lives seems suspicious and in the end untrue. In short, the truth of the claim "religions are a desperate attempt to escape the truth of reality" relies and depends on your grasp of the the "truth of reality", in which you can only believe, just as I do with my faith.

Very impressive writing but i am gonna be honest with how epic this music and monster shown in it, it feels like waste of a climax, an enemy that the hero needs to fight alone since no angel or god can help against this thong

They forget that the 'King' of Demons, Satan himself, loses to an Archangel (Michael), and Archangels aren't even the highest class of angel. Sorry, but 'since no angel or god can help against this thing' just doesn't work.
Second, the climax can be earned in many other ways. Perhaps that nameless paladin was a man who lost his faith. Perhaps the paladin lost a loved one or had unanswered prayers that caused him to lose faith in God, (like Bram Stoker's Dracula)? But then the lands around him came under assault from hellish forces. That paladin would be faced with a choice: join the darkness, or return to the light to save innocent lives, nor matter how hard the latter option is.
People keep focusing too much on 'external' battles, and they forget that sometimes the hardest and most epic battles are fought on the inside.
So, after that paladin finally vanquishes his inner demons in a terrible internal conflict (that may even manifest in reality), the invading demons on the physical plane quickly falls prey to a man who's realized that it's never too late to find forgiveness, that for every 'evil' there is something 'good' to match it, and that no matter how strong the Darkness seems to be, Light will always be stronger still.

This is big inspiration for a main character in my story... hes a myserious being in between hero and villain, more so on the villainous side-- where he is planning on absolutely demolishing everyones lives without any form of mercy for his own selfish reasons. Regardless, the people on his side do not question him in the slightest. It's a story told kind of from the villains perspective and this helped a lot :) (Edits!!: He isn't outright going to ruin everyone's lives for fun, hes targeting certain groups of people, partially for revenge, to prove a point and to seek out a life that was stolen from him. So ultimately, selfish reasons depending on the side you take)

The villain cuts a legend’s throat, killing the “last” legend

The villain laughs maniacally as they point their main weapon to the hero who has already been bruised and beaten to the ground

The 'hero' raises his fist as he taps into sheer willpower to stand up with his now mangled body. Blood was staining his hair and dripping from the horribly ruined arm and slashed eye. Behind him, the sidekick shouts, "Don't do it! We can live to fight another day!" Rather than listen to him, the 'hero' merely smirks as he lowers his remaining arm and gathers energy into it. He then looks back at the friend who had been there through thick and thin. A person who, even at this moment, played the role of the cowardly weakling. But he knew better. It's only in perspective. If this friend stood alongside anybody else, he'd be the bravest there is, as only this friend stuck by him. Others ran or killed themselves to get here, but this friend of his? He held on. But he also knew a bitter truth. He was on his last legs. If he tried to run now, it would leave not only this friend dead but also everyone else around both of them who fought on. The villain until now had been toying with them, only killing those he deemed to pose a significant challenge. Taking everything into consideration, a tear runs down his face as he runs at the villain with the last of his golden energy violently pulsating from his palm. With one final warcry, he swings his golden fist at the enemy only to get impaled by the big bad's mightier fist.
"And here I thought you were smarter than this, *hero* " the villain smirks. "I am deeply disappointed in-" But before the villain could continue, the hero powers through the attack and clamps his golden hand down on the arm impaled into his stomach as the light begins to envelop both of them.
"What the hell are you doing?!" The sidekick shouts to which the hero's smirk grows into a full-on smile. "This is the end for me... it's up to you now..."
"W-what the hell?!" The villain shouts, for the first time being perturbed by the hero's level of determination.
With a melancholic smile, the hero tells the sidekick, "Buddy, stop believing in me that believes in you, or the you that believes in me. Believe in the you that believes in yourself! You got this!"
"What the actual hell do you think you are doing you fool!?" The ultimate evil roars out as it tries to remove its arm from the hero's stomach.
"I'm taking a gambit... in the future..."
With that, the hero turns to the villain and lets loose a scream that seems to resonate with the very Earth. It blows away all the hero's companions, including the sidekick who could do nothing but scream his best friend and idol's name. Where the hero and villain once stood, a bright golden pillar of light emerges, momentarily piercing the darkness all around the two, engulfing everything nearby.
