It's thought to be true that a baby feels his mother's emotions while in the womb (kind of hard to prove 100% tho), but that isn't OP's fault or responsibility. If OP's ex is sad during pregnancy, that's her own fault. And if she's going to raise a child, she needs to learn how to be responsible for her own emotions.
