Almost every Inch of Aba is a market. Thats ridiculous. Even our ancient ancestors were more organized than this going by the fact that they reserved a place for market - and not everywhere like Aba and Onitsha people are doing. Everywhere shouldn't be a market. Governor Otti should lower the cost of stalls at Ariara Market and move lots of street traders in there.

You keep using abusive language for no reason. The commenter is advocating for better organization of markets and there is nothing wrong with that. Converting main roads, sidewalks and every little space into a market is wrong. Buying and swelling should only happen in places designated for them which is the norm all over the world. Soon people with money to spend will start avoiding the chaotic places you so much love to keep in favour of well organised business spaces. Aba and Onitsha must up their games or lose big time if they continue to be so chaotic.
Trading on roads, walkways, shanties is driven by pure greed not by lack of shop spaces. Greedy traders simply abandon their allocated shops inside the market
and resort to street trading because they want to intercept buyers before they enter the market proper. These greedy people must be stopped and trading confined to the market only.
