@@butlercustoms I wish I could afford it and the shipping would be completely nuts, I'd have to get it shipped to Babb Montana near Glacier National park But being as I'm on an old age pension, I'd never be able to afford the bike in the first place. I love your channel. I think the way to reassemble the springer is the use of a ratchet strap. Once you install the lower springs, use the ratchet strap from the axle to the top of the springer and compress the lower springs, then install the top springs.
Wish I could help on the springer info......Im sure whatever you figure out will look great! Spoke wheels, I think would suit. Put my name on the list for "interested" ! :)

On your video, the choke "butterfly" is closed while you are running the engine. I think that just may be your issue.
@@nativerhythm1564 on this carb it’s the opposite. Had to look it up in the service manual. Choke in = butterfly closed. Choke out = butterfly open. I left the choke on for the bike to warm up. That’s why it was closed in the video. After it warmed up I did open the choke. Thanks.

Thats going to be an awesome build
I hope so. It will make someone a great bike.
I wish I had that bike!!!!! I'd put the old generator back on too
It should be for sale soon. I bought it to restore and get back on the road and then to pass it on to someone who will enjoy it.

Looking forward to the seat leather work videos
Just hope I can get a good enough padding in it without it being too bulky for the thick leather I use.

I am looking at around 12:30 in the video...How does it run with the choke off?
If you watch, I started it with the choke on and then pulled the choke off.

Looks a lil messed up but cool
I think it’s got good bones.
Remove the fuel filter it’s causing a fuel loss issue
Never thought about that. But I did check the fuel flow with the filter on and it’s flowing good. But I’ll try it without. Thanks.

Those are valve covers not the heads lol
Correct. I was talking about the entire assembly. That’s why I called them heads.
choke is closed
No. It is opposite on this style of carburetor. Threw me for a loop at first too. Thanks for watching.
Sounds like a tractor
Right.
