Hi Alison, love the fleur dress just finishing my second dress. Made the sleeve versions. I sized down as made according to finished dress size . Also the beauty of this pattern is the B and D cup block. Enjoy your sowing hope you feel better soon. x
Hi Alison, I’ve made the Fleur top and sized down by one size from a 14 to a 12 and it fits me fine, I just love this top and may have to make the dress later in the year. ❤❤
I think you'll get it done. You're well on with the bag and have made that nice yellow hello kitty dress before. I hope your stressors ease and your health gets back to a good place. Last month was a tough one for me too and I empathise with you. Not sure what I am going to make this weekend. Maybe some pants and exercise tights, which would give me a nice sense of achievement for not so much effort. Plus I need some new ones, so they'd be really useful too. I have some pretty Liberty swim fabric that will make fan leggings and cheer me up every time I put them on.😊
So sorry your gastric problems have recurred and hope it settles soon. Sewing plans are great and I bet you will get the bulk of it done. I love the way you are repurposing your dresses- we all need to do more of that. I too have more fabric and patterns than I will be able to make for my trip to Ireland to see the grandchildren early Sept (can’t wait) and a trip to Greece for a special wedding anniversary early October. And it’s not as if I need any more holiday clothes 😳. Hope you feel better soon and Happy Sewing 😊. Lynne
You can do it! 😅. I have a short slerve top and shorts pattern to wrangle with along with the new itch to stitch Deba topper to try out, I do not do bare arms but thought I would try the top with topper to cover up when out and about.
Sorry to hear your tummy problems have kicked off again, it does impact what we can make. This month, I am making another pair of linen Saguaro pants, which I have already started on. I am making a Midnight Sun bag that I began last week, I have a Comillas dress cut out and ready to sew, and I want to make a Bonn shirt and get my Andes jacket started
Like you, I love the Judy dress, although I’ve only made two! I was looking for a pattern to make up for my son’s wedding and wanted something completely new so I am going to make the Fibre Mood Gabby, which has gorgeous puffy sleeves and an interesting godet at the front that creates a very full skirt while the bodice is quite fitted. Check it out, I think you will like it too.
@@SewLikeDotty nearly finished my wearable toile now and the godet at the front is genius, producing a super swishy front but a sleek fit around the shoulders. A pleat at the back also helps to give the dress some shape. Just got to insert the sleeves now.

Hi it’s McCalls m5822 x
That navy viscose is £12pm on Lamazi it’s a twill so you got a proper bargain and I’m now even more jealous 😂

It’s usually in 50 or 45 cm lengths you just order multiple amounts it’s always come in one piece when I’ve ordered
