Great video! Just got back into Topwater fishing here in BC Canada after a 20 plus year Hiatus. The popper was the only bait that caught fish the other day in windy conditions. Found a small calm section on the lake and a school of 8 bass.
I'm 30 seconds in and absolutely am on board with this video. I have every color for the kraken in my box, and doubles of many because I love it so much, perfect for popping and walking, on ponds and rivers. The green ones have been a staple in my box for a long while now, probably the best producing popper I've ever used!
The Krakken Series Popper is money. I got the same color in my MTB Pro box and it's done nothing but catch fish . It's so good that i went and bought four others in different colors.
I wish i could find more of these poppers. Ive been throwing mine in the same pattern for 7 years. Have gotten that thing back a multitude of different ways after break offs and snags even fishing it out of the river a few times. but for some reason the small mouth around here go off on it
I love those lunkerhunts...they walk great it you wanna retrieve like that instead of,chugging it....and they are cheap. I miss your videos like this bud. Still love your content.
Only bass I ever caught was on a green whopper plopper. That was last fall. Tried everything else besides other topwater baits and haven't caught anything. Might have to try a lil popper next

I would definitely take the floater off. You don’t really need to use it at all during bass fishing becuase all the baits will do different things in the water and most of the don’t need to float
Hey as long as you are fishing poppers try a popper with a dropper trout worm rigged whacky style and also try bobber rattle bobber by betts and a 12 inch Mann’s jelly worm over submerged weed beds rattle a little bit move slightly you will catch bass bluegills will hit bobber l think bass come to sound of bluegills and see big worm! Remember 12 inch big tail works for me l hope you get this and Mabey do a video on jelly worm bass

Kollin Hatchette get out there and try it it's a blast. Don't give up on it if it doesn't produce but if you see fish busting on the surface definitely give it a chance

back in the '60s & '70s my grandfather loved the original (?) popper, the Creek Chub Plunker. I still have some of his old Plunkers.

Used a pop-r by Rebel yesterday and caught my first bass on it which I'm quite proud of, Even if he was a smaller fish.

Castnight02 yes and light crankbaits like the 1.0 and the rapala shad rap. Pretty much anything light with trebles is what I would throw
Probably be a good rod for med size trick worms and crawls
