LOL.. I just came back from BKK/Thailand couple of days ago, May 9th 2022 to be exact. Stayed in one of the cool hotels on this street you are walking on, Carlton Sukhumvit. The thing with BKK and for that matter Thailand is not that there is not enough tourist, or places open etc etc, for me the biggest thing was the damn 11 PM/midnight curfew. Had an amazing 7 weeks tho and cant wait to go back in later this year again.

Thinking about going back in December 2022. December and January are two of the best months as the temperature drops to about 90 F with low humidity and very little rain. I think the nightlife is starting to get better already. I stayed in Nana Hotel three years ago. It is close to Nana Plaza nightlife area and it is easy to get a taxi to Patpong. I hope you have a good trip.
