I had a Cavapoo & he was the sweetest, best dog ever. Intellegent, easy to train and the most loveable dog I've ever had. Lived for attention: loved children, adults & other dogs. In other words, he loved everybody. Buddy was outgoing, wanted attention & petting, but not a clinging pest. I've heard it said that Cavaliers & Cavapoos can have separation anxiety & be destructive. Any dog will be destructive if left alone a lot. That was not my experience. Buddy went through his chewing stage as puppies do, but no separation anxiety. He went many places with me & was welcomed because he was well behaved. However, Cavapoos are not happy spending a lot of time alone. If you will be gone alot, either get another dig to keep him company or choose a different breed.

He was 11.5 years old & had health problems that Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are known to suffer from: congenital heart defect, glaucoma & cataracts, and he had diabetes. CKCs are known to develop diabetes as they age. I am a pet sitter & both of the CKCs I used to pet sit developed diabetes & eye problems. Knowing of the possible health problems, though, I would still want another Cavapoo, they are great dogs.
They are definitely one of the perfect dogs! So loyal and love being around you. So playful yet so lazy! Literally your best friend! I can’t express how thankful I am for my cavapoo...
My cavapoo is absolutely perfect. He is smart, loving and has a wonderful disposition. He has been an absolute blessing since the pandemic and it worked out perfectly because I now work from home. He isn't destructive at all and very patient. Love this breed!
Same. My 2yo boy is both incredibly sweet & super smart. But you mentioned something that I rarely hear anyone else talk about. He is amazingly patient! He is familiar with our routine, & so never harasses us whilst we're preparing he's food & will even wait patiently for 5-10 minutes when he needs to go to the toilet, while we may be finishing off a chore or something. He really IS the perfect doggo. 😊🐶❤
I have a almost 5 month old cavapoo, with a son that will be 5 in a few days. She is an awesome kid dog. She is so sweet and loves everyone, hasn't met a human she doesn't love. She is black and white, didn't hear you say that color combo, it's a little least common but still beautiful.

Each dog has its own personality, character, we don’t know their temperaments, we don’t know their common diseases, that’s why this shitty breed can’t be considered as a real one. my cavapoo was amazing!!! he was perfect, but he had extreme separation anxiety. he always wanted to be near us.
