    Do you need to leave them to set before taking them out of the mold? I have tried doing it myself but mine just crumble and fall apart. Thanks x

    • @OneLittleProject
      @OneLittleProject  Рік тому +21

      If your bath bombs come out of the mold and crumble, the mixture is likely too dry or you didn't pack them into the mold tightly enough. You can try these troubleshooting methods: try firmly packing the mold again. Overflow the molds with even more of the mixture and really press the sides together tightly. If that doesn't work, try adding a few more drops of oil to your mixture. Hope this helps! 😊

    Hi! I like your video! I do need clarification though. About 6 months ago, someone asked if cornstarch would clog the bathtub. You replied that you wouldn't recommend cornstarch, after using cornstarch in your recipe. So yes use or no don't use on the cornstarch?

    • @OneLittleProject
      @OneLittleProject  5 місяців тому +3

      Sorry, I'm not sure why we replied not to use cornstarch?! I've gone back and corrected that response. If you use bath bombs infrequently it shouldn't clog your pipes. But if you use them every day for a long time, it could eventually cause a clog. But that will be the case for store bought bath bombs as well.

    • @OneLittleProject
      @OneLittleProject  Рік тому

      We used several bath bombs and it did not cause any clogs. With all the water in the bathtub it should flush it away no problem when it drains. However, if you use many bath bombs at one time or if you use them daily for a long period of time, you could eventually cause a clog that needs to be cleared.

      Absolutely! The ingredients help relax your muscles (epsom salts), detox the body and relieve itchy skin (baking soda), moisturize your skin (almond oil), and help you unwind (essential oils).

    Can I use lemon juice instead of citric acid?

    • @aguyfromwpg
      @aguyfromwpg 8 місяців тому

      I would think probably not. They're dry so they react in water, but the juice would probably react with baking soda while forming, plus change the consistency or the paste and too wet.
