I’ve rented a few exotics… Ferrari GTC4 Lusso, McLaren MP4-12C, BMW i8, Audi R8, Dodge Viper, Maserati Ghibli, Porsche Panamera and Corvette.
All of those were in Vegas except the Ferrari was is Miami. Now Miami is a sketchy place. I made sure I had pictures of every angle of the car including under the spoilers and the roof and interior.
When I returned it I again took pictures of everything and made them sign the contract saying they received it in good condition.
I had put down a $3,000 deposit. I got the $2,500 back upon return as agreed upon and was supposed to get the remaining $500 10 business days later. Took a couple of months but eventually I got it.
I was willing to take that loss from the get go as I knew they were fishy but the car was perfect for that trip but I was glad I eventually got it all back.
It was an excellent automobile. I drove it to key west and back with wife and two kids in the back of an all wheel drive front engine Ferrari!
I’ve also done Rob’s Gotham Dream Cars tour 15 years ago and did one with World Class Driving before that.
And the Porsche 2 day class at Barber Motorsports which is absolutely phenomenal.

Am I a bad person that when ever I am scrolling through used car listings I unashamedly skip over any listing from NJ? I see NJ and I just "nope" to the next one, every time.

This is a great episode, but I just can’t help but notice that Rob looks like Tom Kenny, the voice actor of SpongeBob. All he’s missing is the glasses. Not a bad thing, just got caught off guard

I stick to this rule of thumb: never loan out anything you aren't willing or able to lose. Unless, of course, you can guarantee you will get adequately compensated.

Spent the first half of the video explaining how this guy was most certainly a crook.. spent the second half telling of multiple deals with said crook.. acted surprised when he got burned. My sense of humor finds this hilarious.
