So what is Exoprimal, you ask? Exoprimal is an amazing new PvE and PvP action game where your exosuit enhances your abilities in the game. Just wanted to drop a tip for anyone who has the game: During defense missions, if you look next to the build up gauge there are arrows letting you know that the gauge will be filled up faster or slower depending on how many people are on the point. The max is 4 so it allows 1 assault or tank member to step out and pressure the mob spawns. Now when you get to escort cube mission at the end of some phases, that max goes down to 3 arrows. It will not move any faster if you have 4 or more people on the point. This allows 3 people to stay on the cube, 1 melee person to attack the mobs before they get to the box AND 1 person to go pester the other team. I play a premade group and just wanted to drop a helpful tip rather than "gate keeping" it. Hopefully if enough people see it on a big channel like this, it'll help people be more competitive so we're not making the game unfun for newer players that get matched against us. Have fun, this game is amazing as a break from other AAA titles and is free on gamepass as well!

Nimbus is not "highly mobile", let's clear that up. Her speed is not exceptional, and her teleport isn't an instant movement since the hologram still needs to travel (and can be destroyed if you didn't know) before you can teleport to it. It's also limited to travel along the ground, so it's use as a mobility tool is next to non-existent. It's not even very good for getting out of danger due to the lag time of waiting for the hologram to get out of danger, hopefully without being destroyed.
But just so no-one thinks I'm just trashing on Nimbus, I do love Nimbus and she's my primary Exosuit. I use the Catapult rig for that mobility she desperately needs to get out of dangerous situations (And if you didn't know, it automatically maxes your sprint speed after use) and use the teleport for upping downed allies quickly more than anything else. I just want to make clear Nimbus, and her base toolkit, is in no way "highly mobile". Which is a shame.
Something to know with Deadeye that I haven't seen people talking about is if you hold the grenade ability and don't let go you can get a trajectory line giving a visual aid of the drop and distance. Good for when you need to know where its going and allowing you to hold it for a good grouping of small dinos, lead a target, or wait to get a nice critical with a direct hit to a larger dinos.
Nice kinda like the perk in call of duty I’ve gotten so many kills just because of that little trajectory line.
This game is so much fun, and it’s one of those games that only gets better the more time you put into it. Once the story starts to fully unlock, the battles get more and more intense

This was great video breakdown for the classes. More people should watch this because some of the people I've matched up with sometimes don't know how to use their character or what's needed for the team 😅

Or there's characters like Nimbus, who's just situational. But I'm a skywave otp and I can't stand seeing other skywaves that don't even know how to play
I'm having fun as Witchdoctor, its just fun to use his leap to either dive head long into a swarm of dinos and then stun them all with his attack, or just jump in to drop a needed repair feild, that and his little Marry Poppins float is just fun to use when you need to readjust or to get out of danger. Not to mention he's perfect for getting those pesky Pteranadons out of the sky for everyone to take out.
If you want MVP 90% of the time, play Barrage. I usually get 85,000 - 105,000 score per game with him.
You must be really good with him because I swear he’s not that great when he’s on my team lol
Mainly just focus large groups of dinos. Set the triple threat bombs right at the base of a spawner and detonate them right as they land.
I've been farming MVP with witchdoctor he's just too good
So far my favorites are Deadeye then Zephyr for assults, Murasame then Roadblock for tanks, and Nimbus for support. Still gotta get more play time into the other few but Krieger is looking good as well
That’s literally the only viable characters in the game. All the rest need a buff or change to their abilities as a whole.
@Nytellem define only viable. I've seen and heard from plenty of others the ones i didn't mention were very good in either pvp or pve

If I'm being honest, Skywave needs a buff, mostly to her base heals/damage. Currently Nimbus, minus flying, does everything better: more base damage, more base healing, easier to hit shots, etc. A unmodded Nimbus still has the same ttk and tth as a full modded Skywave. WD is kinda chilling in his corner, his paralyze isn't weak but not too strong and his heals can be massive depending on if people group

I’ve been enjoying this game a lot
I had to sell my Series X last year so I haven't had game pass for a while obviously. But I was able to download the xbox app on my pc and get game pass for one frickin dollar, exo-primal included. Game pass is fucking amazing.

Been hearing from a lot of people that this game isn’t very good, but I’m down to give it a shot anyway.
Simple litmus test of if its worth listening to other people about this game is to ask how many game modes there are. If they say only 1, then they have either not played the game or only played for a bit at the start of the game. More modes get added as you progress story. There are a lot of reviewers guilty of this too.
This game is a must try. If you have gamepass, it's free as well!

I've unlocked the other one which a) isn't out yet and b) apparently won't be permanent.

I'm really interested in playing this but I'm concerned about the battlepass thing and potential fomo for a game I would have already paid for. I can't seem to find anything concrete on the subject so I thought I'd ask around. Are there permanent missables?

Might be me but i see krieger as someone disguised as a tank but really a damage, same goes for mursame
I see him as the suit that fills in the cracks the team has. Good off tank with, like you said, his damage and his bubble to help others reset inside. Good disabling with his electro rockets and decent mobility with his dash.

The game gets insanely boring after end game which is like 60 missions on top of that once you play barrage you wont play anyone else he is OP

@@Mad_Peasant_KingWhich is why I'm choosing to support this game since it's a new ip getting kinda tired of the RE remakes as well, i don't hate them i just need some new entertainment in the Capcom scene to get my attention from Monster Hunter, Street Fighter and RE.
