Yeah. Dude was BOGUS AS YELL ! Talkin' about, I could beat Bruce Lee because I was bigger than he was. IT'S JUST TOO DARN BAD, they weren't living in the same era.
What i love about Bruce Lee stories is he wasnt afraid to learn, he was always looking for the best most efficient and effective ways to fight. I dont know the if its true but i once heard he didnt think much of kicking high or spinning until on set Chuck did a spinning heel kick and he was impressed asked to be shown again and went off to practice. If true he saw something he could have a use for and aquired the knowledge tgen practiced till perfected. Even if not true you can see that he only ever learned to become so effective that fights werent prolonged and in doing you have to acknowledge your limitations before overcoming them and from what little real footage ive seen, he didnt have many limitations, sh!t i wish i could play table tennis with a bat as good as he does with nunchuks truly a man who came closest in my opinion to reach the title superhuman. Thats an amazing athlete right there, not self assured hes the best and all his skills are the shiznit but a athlete who was always looking for more to add to his collection and improve, he apparently lived his art almost every minute of his day from what i read just 100000000% dedication.
That he died so young was bad in itself. The fact not much rare footage and all hktvb footage destroyed makes it worse. But tyson knows bruce was a bad man
I agree, in close combat what are your chances of beating an athlete(fighter) who is 50kg heavier than your? And let's accept it, in a situation like that, the so called one inch punch remains bullshit. 😊

It breaks my heart every time I see these videos of dear Bruce. How do you define a person who took everything in and only used what would work, from every art and make more moves from his study of it all. Every moment of his life was evolution at such a high level. Bruce was and is the OG Master of all arts combined. There will never be such a leader and game changer as him. Then to see his son pass away was too much for me. I cannot even imagine how Linda continued with half her soul gone from these events. Thank you for keeping his legacy alive through this 🙏

I was born in the 90s grew up idolising Jackie Chan and Jet Li but my parents always reminded me that before them there was this guy called Bruce Lee, even from the way they mention his name I knew he was somebody, it took me awhile to appreciate his movies, and ultimately his philosophy and life story. Now he's as much a legend to me as he was to my parents. I'm Chinese and Bruce Lee is our shinning immortal dragon, he broke all barriers at an era that was supposed to be impossible. I found one of Bruce's books when I was 18 and it spoke to me. I loved it. I immediately began practicing and emersing myself in jeet kune do. After three years of living for the art I had memorized all 5 of his books and learned all I possibly could about Bruce. His skill set was a double whammy. First he had a brilliant mind. Bruce never gets enough credit for his Academic accomplishments, he was a college graduate with a major in philosophy and he combined that with an in depth study of martial arts from all around the world. The 2nd thing that made him great was his incredible level of energy. He ran 10 miles a day just to warm up before breakfast. Chuck touched on that in the video. Releasing energy wes Bruces natural state of existence. That is what made him so unique. Intelligence and inexhaustible energy.

It’s pretty fair to say Bruce was a genuine freak of nature, and a prodigious talent in self defence. What i believe is that he would not do as well as some say as a ring competitor and would probably notch up a few KO losses, a champ maybe but nothing hugely remarkable in conventional and heavily restricted competition. The reason I say that is because he trained to injure people BEYOND the rules of any competitive ring sport at the time. Bruce would’ve been like a Lion let loose without any teeth or claws in that era. Only todays MMA resembles the JKD that he promoted and taught. I believe he could’ve been a feared MMA champion gladiator and grail coach. He basically trained himself and others to take lives if a ‘no way out’ situation unfolded. The next best thing was to choreograph all that work for the entertainment industry- the movies.
Their will never be another bruce lee. Rest in peace. You will always be remembered as the greatest of all time thank you for sharing your philosophy and giving us some great memories.
I think I remember seeing an interview of the guys who made the TV series Kung Fu, and they said originally they had intended Bruce Lee to play the lead role. But he came in and, not so much auditioned as just gave them a demonstration of a 15 minute barrage of speed and power moves flying around the room attacking objects to wow them. It actually scared the crap out of everyone and they decided to not give him the job because they thought over the course of filming a whole season he might actually kill someone. They were like, ehhh this is just a tv show, and that guy's an actual real live killing machine, lets not play with fire here. I get it, but oh man we could have had Kung Fu with Bruce in it, shot on film for all time. Thousands of hours of footage. Ugh.
I am convinced that Bruce Lee had the power to slow down time so that he would seem like hes moving extra fast....that kind of speed is just unnatural!!

He is fast! and accurate too! I know he is acting on film, and not actually fighting for real, and many people doubt his true fighting skill, but surely the skill he has, when acting out a fight, surely it would translate the same in a real fight.
He was the one that achieved what he wanted to be like, he wanted to be the fastest and he got it,and nobody now can achieve in the martial artist industry what they really want now.

Those who say Bruce Lee was not a great fighter really have no clue
Correct. Chuck Norris testimony agrees with you
We just don't know if he was a great fighter. He was a good athlete and martial artist but not a competitive fighter . The reason people downplay him is because all traditional martial art nerds idolize him like a god to justify their respective martial arts. Certainly Bruce lee was a great, disciplined and high skilled man. If he could be a top fighter... Who knowws
Also a great martial arts actor!
@@Jimb151 chuck also said when asked could Lee win, I'm a professional fighter he's a actor.... chuck would of stomped Lee there's a reason he didn't fight he ran from fights hence why he came to America people don't know or ignore his fear of the Chinese mob 🤔 I get why they seemingly don't know takes away from his Legacy
@@wickid-the-rogueacting during that time give you more money than fighting kiddo. Even heavyweight champions like Mike Tyson and john jones know Bruce Lee is a killer. l😁😁😁😁
I've only seen Bolo as a scary badass in films, but in this interview he seems a friendly, thoughtful, respectful, cool guy. It's good to see great athletes and artists giving respect to their colleagues.
I met with Bolo in the 90s. Nice guy
he still looked ripped tho
He's a good guy in shootfighter, was different to see after seeing him as a villain in most his films
Bruce LEE IS LIKE A GUNSLINGER OF THE WEST.HE HAD a gift 🎁 from above and like to teach everybody martial arts. I love his images great person.
I tells people....
I am HONORED to call Bruce Lee My Friend.
Lee impressed guys on the level of Jim Kelly and Chuck Norris (both world champions). That alone tells you this guy is legit and end of story.
Michael jai will be forgotten but bruce lee will be remembered for a long long time. RIP bruce lee.
Lol
Yeah. Dude was BOGUS AS YELL !
Talkin' about, I could beat Bruce Lee because I was bigger than he was.
IT'S JUST TOO DARN BAD, they weren't living in the same era.
Facts michael jai white is a goofy
BRUCE LEE was a tower amongst men, can't climb it,can't go around it, under it,just stand and be in awe of it,RIP BRUCE
But tyson knows bruce was a bad man
Nope. He was an actor and all of his fights were fake. Look it up... Ask Chuck Norris
@mr.h5788
Yes, i asked chuck. He told me he honestly couldn't have beat bruce in the ring, or street.
I agree, in close combat what are your chances of beating an athlete(fighter) who is 50kg heavier than your? And let's accept it, in a situation like that, the so called one inch punch remains bullshit. 😊
@@jeffreybila5188one inch punch is a demonstration of body mechanics and creating power from the ground, not an actual attack.

“Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”
― Bruce Lee
The match stick and ping pong videos floored me. He was a supreme master.
I love Bolo Yeung and Jim Kelly both, they have never once spoken a single bad word about Bruce Lee and only sing his praise and admiration.
Bruce Lee is the best Martial Artist of all time and one of the top athletes to ever live, he was in such incredible physical shape, we are talking Olympic top tier, the best of the best. Had Bruce Lee lived, I have no doubt he would have continued to improve in Every conceivable way with his Martial Arts and physical fitness. Bruce Lee achieved more in his short life span leaving behind a lasting legacy that most people would never beable to do over several life spans. R.I.P. Bruce Lee you are forever loved and forever missed
😂😂😂😂😂
It breaks my heart every time I see these videos of dear Bruce. How do you define a person who took everything in and only used what would work, from every art and make more moves from his study of it all. Every moment of his life was evolution at such a high level. Bruce was and is the OG Master of all arts combined. There will never be such a leader and game changer as him. Then to see his son pass away was too much for me. I cannot even imagine how Linda continued with half her soul gone from these events.
Thank you for keeping his legacy alive through this 🙏

@@Christopherogley Totally agree with you. It makes me laugh when people say that he could've beaten Tyson, Foreman or Ali in a fight. People watch his fights in the movies and assume he would've kicked their ass. It's like saying John Rambo would be able to kill all the ISIS army by himself.
Bruce Lee can beat anything, Guys let's face it. The Dragon 🐉
He was a meteor that came past and left too soon. Probably everything single boy idolises him once they found out about him.
The art of expressing the human body. But not Mozart art, but the art if technique, self knowledge and self awareness 😮
I think they were planning a movie with Elvis because Elvis was into Karate 🎉
The quantity of our life is very little...everyone will grow old once it is a reality. But it is a lot of sadness when we see them all..Bruce Lee the legend
Brilliant homage to the man the legend Bruce Lee, great video for the future generations to understand just how unreal the man was..
Rip buddy I will train with you again soon ❤
Bruce Lee was a godman.

Loved Bruce, Jim Kelley, Bolo, Chuck, Jean Claude, Brandon. All of you had an influence on my martial arts journey
Better watch folks that actually have been in the ring.
Kids wore the black slippers because of Bruce Lee. We’d see them in school a lot in the 70s. He was a huge idol for boys and men then
Some women too. I always loves martial arts because of him.

So, so much respect to all these legends who praised Bruce Lee. He was a formidable force that will live forever and a day.
Only once in a blue moon does someone like Bruce Lee exist to be able to do what he did. I don't believe that any human will ever be able to come even close to his achievement.
I grew up watching bruce lee and did taekwondo when i was 6. I looked up to bruce lee and jackie chan. We need more legit martial artist like them in 2024. The're legit i even went to bruce lees grave. I pray for his soul. God bless
I was awed at Bruce's speed and thats what got me into karate and Moo ye do
I guess my tyson comment wasn't allowed. Lol. I despise tyson
All fighters all over the world know that he's the legend and always be even for the future generations martial artists to come! Whos agree?😊
Ugh.
Bruce Lee was a animal
Title: "Mike Tyson's SHOCKING Bruce Lee Interview". Actually: 5 seconds out of context quote.
I am convinced that Bruce Lee had the power to slow down time so that he would seem like hes moving extra fast....that kind of speed is just unnatural!!
Like many others, I grew up idolizing Bruce.
Chuck Norris was also great. He was the only man who had to wear a diaper when he brushed his teeth because he shit himself with fear when he looked in the mirror....

My martial arts training began in 1966 when I saw Bruce in the Green hornet. My dad was a boxer and a pretty good one by all accounts and began training me.
