I’ve watched a handful of your videos now. I must say man, you’re damn impressive. The content, quality, and clarity are top notch. I’m new to this but am familiar with how these types of games work. Some of these were sort of intrinsic to me but even still I wanted to watch even those tips. And there were a couple of things I had no idea about. Keep doing what you’re doing man. Obviously you have my sub.
When farming xp for food, pick the highest level you can run on stage 3 normal. The xp per energy used on NORMAL level 12 stage 3 is equal to the xp per energy used on HARD level 10 stage 3. The amount of silver per energy is about equal as well, but that is a probability video which I'm not going into :-).
I was the noob who wasted skill books like crazy. I try my best not to use up the shards before the summoning event but sometimes I just want to open them so bad. Thanks for another great vid! That Bellower is a great pick up! I hope I get him soon, great speed farmer!
I enjoy these beginner guides. They are definitely a big help to the new community. Something that you also might consider is doing more of the champion highlight videos like your Athel video, with a gear guide and mastery build for each champion. I know I'd watch them all.
You saved me with the lesson on sacrificing champions...and tips on leveling food...now that i know the difference i got my relic keeper to 5 star in one day...not that impressive...but saved me a huge amount of stamina and time...also i used to waste a ton of energy until i learned from you that it regenerates and to keep it as low as possible....so thank you!!!!
Oh, and if I may learning what champions need which gear is super important. Figure out which champion skills match which gear. Like he said, if you have a champ u need to be fast but isn’t much of an attacker(for support of the team) then speed gear with speed, defense, hp and accuracy are what you will want to find. Etc...
Love the video chosen, i was the noob that did not follow these tips until later and too late, i wish this would come out sooner but i lived and learn like u did, because these are great tips and beginners should follow these highly.

Love your content. F2P here. What would you prioritize in strengthening champions? Best possible order? Get to six star? Acsend? Masteries? Get good gear? Skill upgrades?
You have been a big help with me starting up this game... I am now trying to get good synergy built and that is hard.. it is one thing having a good hero.. but having a good hero in the wrong team can be misleading on how good a hero's potential. Sometimes a hero by itself might be meh, but with the right hero, the synergy is very powerful.
I would also say that, about doing missions in advance, that the level up champions to a certain level/star rank is something you can do in advance and it will count that in progression. The only missions now that I seem to need to do right when it becomes available (and won’t count in advance) are the dungeon missions (e.g., complete Spider’s den at lvl 13 on auto 7 times, earn X# of 5* artifacts from Ice Golem Dungeon on lvl 13 or higher, or earn 5 Superior Potions from the Magic Keep dungeon on rank 10 or higher), arena missions (e.g., defeat X# of champions in the arena, earn 150 silver seals from silver rank arena fights, etc.), or clan missions (deal X amount of damage to the clan boss). I have never had to worry about leveling a champion or ranking them to 6 star to complete a mission; rather those are always counted as complete right away when I get them.
As lvl 40 right now im sitting on 20k+ energy lol. Had huge bonusses when i started. Trust me im trying to spend it, but with events i just get it back fast lol. Good guide btw, didnt know about shields giving more silver
a tip for using rare champions: farm in campaign maps: increase champions lvls + items + common, uncommon and rare champions. the rare champions found in campaign maps can be used and farmed :)
Nice video m8, I am only to lvl 38 and this is useful, made quite a few mistakes early on that I really regret. On a side note, I've been hoping to get Athel the whole time with no luck, then in the Arena yesterday I seen a lower lvl than me with two lol, RNGesus hates me.

I’m lvl36 and playing for about 2 weeks now. Been following all your guide since I started specially for athel and relickeeper. During the shard event, I got zavia as my first legendary. Is she good and do you have any tips for her? I was planning to pattern it with athel. Thanks in advance.
I would argue that you can use rare champions for food in specific cases, especially as you get from mid to end game (yes I know this video is for beginners but I think it’s still something for beginners to keep in mind). For example, as an end game farmer I pretty exclusively do lvl 12 stage 3 on brutal and I get a lot of Diabolist and Hound Spawn drops. I already saved one of each, leveled them up and put them in my vault for potential fusions (maybe even if they get updated later), so now I can use any spare Diabolists and Hound Spawns I get as potential food. I agree that you should save rares in most cases, but I am at a point where I pretty much have 1 of every rare now, and duplicates take up space.

They are good, but they are only rares, I would wait and farm up to go rank 6 with at least an epic. I feel personally that Galek does more damage, but it’s prolly a personal choice. The key is to building a smart team, I’ve been beaten in arena with my 4 rank 6’s by all rank 5’s because of the smart build. So point is don’t rush to get a rank 6 til your sure which to rank up. The team is more important then 1 rank 6. However, a fully geared, leveled and skilled athel or galek will be able to farm brutal fairly easily.
Hey, u talking about dont waste skill book - i have one question. What about waste skill book to uprgrade Athel? My first epic drop is Juliana and when i get skill book for epics i use it for her but when we talk about skill book for rare i use it for Athel. What u think about it - this is waste? EDIT: For now it is third day where i can't drop all energy i mean i have 400/80..
Athel or Kael are fine as your first uses of rare skill books. Don't worry, eventually you will drop the energy lol it gets much more scarce as you level up more.
The energy will run up in half an hour when u are 30th day in this game. Every day just use half an hour on this game if u have no gems to refill the stamina. Rare shard is hard to get if you do not buy it.
Okay, I don't know if I'll still get a response. But what to do with my commons. I am leveling my uncommons as food. but to do my commons too seems a it excessive. Is it still for the best to level your commons as food too? Or only as food for your uncommons to then be food for your mains.
When you have like 300 Green shards and only about 10 ancient shards (no epic or legendary shards), would you keep those 10 ancients for a summoning event or spend them on a Double legendary weekend? Which would you say is more profitable? For instance, I feel that at the moment I am unable to complete a summoning event entirely without spending money in game.
could be a name Granted, but there are missions that you can’t do until it’s live. Like ascend a champion to say lvl 5 ascension. That you must do as soon as it pops. Even tho you might have 5 lvl 5 ascended etc....
talking about events, is there a fixed rotation or those are random? also nice tip about the shields. only thing i dont agree is about sacrificing rare champs, some of those are crap and just take up space in your vault for no reason, you should look at the skills a lot of them trash and not worth it
yeah i heard that and i have like 30 of them saved but still in more than 2 months playing they just take space... only thing they did so far was fix skills like buff steal (?)
Why wouldn't you want to farm stage 7? Wouldn't that have the highest XP, and by percentage would still end up with a decent number of shields for additional silver, versus any other stage?

Just started playing a couple days ago, and had guessed that the higher the stage the more XP you would be getting, so it would make more sense if you are trying to farm XP for food characters. Was assuming that you also get more silver as a reward for the higher stages themselves, before you sell the artifacts. Is leveling Elhain to 6 worth it? She's my main farmer atm. I also have a Tallia but she doesn't farm as good as my Elhain. I also have an Executioner that's 3 executioners away for max skills. So I'm between those 3. I also have Aphotecary and Kael.
Chosen, I think I might skip the next artefact event - as rumours abound that in the next update we will have 6* gear. Thus, it might just be a waste of resources. What do you think? Might I be wasting resources if I decide to participate? I could imagine maybe doing 1/2 the event (up to the point that you might be grinding for something with lesser value) - but my gut says to wait for the update on this one. Your thoughts?
What's the best way to increase my chances of pulling units I need to fusion them into relickeeper? Like is the last stage, stage 7 an increased shot or do hard and brutal stages provides more drop chance? An example for me would be spirit host and a executioner is there some specific stage or level?
In Empires and Puzzles you (almost) MUST join a clan to recieve more ascention items required to level up stars of the heroes. What bonuses are there for joining a clan in this game? Can I just play without a Clan and still progress like 80% of the speed? In Empires and Puzzles you need to be in a clan to fight Titans to get nice loot and fight in a Clan War to get even better loot. How is it in this game?
The IluminEYE how many 5 stars do you have? Do you have a fully developed 5 star team? You’ll need that. I have a galek 6 star but I was able to do a lot with him at 5 star before I put my first 6 star with a legendary. He has the ability to 6 star a lot of champions, but resource management is extremely important.
@@perfection4749 I have about 7 decently geared 5 stars that include: bellower, galek, warmaiden, spirithost, RK, shaman and, and exe(geared with the things from the recommended section) and I`m planning to 5 star a hellgazer and still deciding whether to 5 star a thenasil or to wait for an apothecary.
The missions need to be a little more clear on whether or not they're retroactive. I believe all of the 'ascend' missions have to be done while the mission is active, but I don't think any of the champion rank up missions are (meaning that just having a 5 star champion when you get to the mission will auto complete it).
I always sacrifice rare champions. I get them left front and center, I just try to save the ones with aura skills unless I REALLY need to free up space.
i'd like to know what heroes i should build up early cause right now i'm lving my athel,warpriest,Valerie,and exacuationer. idk if they're good or not. also i'm having trouble with the Felwin's Gate boss. idk who to lv up to make that fight easier.
1. You talked about trying to get the most XP when the XP boost is live but you didn't mention where to go that gives the best XP. 2. You should have also touched on characters merging as a well as the best places to earn silver coin.

Changing Artifacts costs silver so be mindful on what u put on ur champions

Hey Jonathan 😎 for food it doesn’t really matter. All rarity champs level up the same so you can use any champs to make your main ones better.

The mission regarding two level 50 champions is not as you said. You complete the mission as long as you have them in your collection.

But those "trash" champs may get re-balanced at some point or be good for faction wars or some other dungeon that gets released in the future.

Not sure what you mean. Stage 3 is about 10% more silver and 1% less xp. Most people like that trade.

Do you suggest new players participate in events? I have been grinding away at the dungeon event, but I doubt I will get to the end reward shard
I would focus mainly on XP and get what u can without grinding it too hard.

@@perfection4749 I have about 7 decently geared 5 stars that include: bellower, galek, warmaiden, spirithost, RK, shaman and, and exe(geared with the things from the recommended section) and I`m planning to 5 star a hellgazer and still deciding whether to 5 star a thenasil or to wait for an apothecary.

The missions need to be a little more clear on whether or not they're retroactive. I believe all of the 'ascend' missions have to be done while the mission is active, but I don't think any of the champion rank up missions are (meaning that just having a 5 star champion when you get to the mission will auto complete it).
I agree. There should be a little icon on that shows whether or not you get back credit.
His point was that there are missions even tho you have already completed must be competed again to complete the mission.

I always sacrifice rare champions. I get them left front and center, I just try to save the ones with aura skills unless I REALLY need to free up space.
8:39 what about duped rares I got for example from farming 12-3? If it got 3 more copies of the same rare, it shouldn't be a problem, wouldn't it?
I learned my lesson about not using any rates epics etc as sacrifice. Lost maybe 2 or 3 good champs that way but my question what about doubles?

What's the benefit of getting a duplciate champion? I heard you could use it to level your champion faster?
You can use it like a Skill Book, what means you can Lvl up the skills of the champion you got the duplicate
