Recorded in Copenhagen, Denmark, January 14, 1963. Bass -- Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen Drums -- Ronnie Gardiner Piano -- Niels Brønsted Saxophone [Tenor, Soprano] -- Albert Ayler
For curiosity I was listening to Sergio Mendes and his Brazil 66 and as usual, when I feel musical nausea I come to dear Albert Ayler or I go to Pee Wee Russell to refresh my soul and my ears with their musical sincerity.
i met Albert in Finlad/Helsinki and took Him to "Musicans Union jam session" There he made his first recording EVER. with Herbert Katz band, recorder by our National radio company..
The most interaction on the album. Notice how NHOP nudges Albert into Ysabel's Table Dance (Mingus Tijuana Moods) at 4:50 and Holiday for Strings at 10:48 and Ronnie Gardiner and Albert trade short phrases after his drum solo (11:35). Albert introduces "La Mayonnnaise" at 12:38. I'm probably missing some other hints of things to come.

Albert is a beautiful bell pepper of sound.
Wow
Words just don't do this justice, Albert was on a different plane or sphere than anyone then or since he walked the Earth.
