I bought this car used and I believe it to have pretty bad streaks and discolouration on the body's trim due to the harsh chemicals used in touches car washes.
I researched different cleaners and really didn't find any definitive answers on how to repair the trim and remove the streaks and color marks. I figured that the trim is most likely stainless steel, which I don't know for a fact, and then searched out stainless steel cleaners.

I have the same Town car color and pin stripe. Trying to clean the door molding grooves without having to remove. Don't want to bend or break by removing. Full of Mold black on back bumper but they came off easy. Funny thing I pull in to the handicap section at Walt Disney World, and a group of teens must be 12-13 years old walk by and each one compliments my Town car, Like your Lincoln Sir says one, then the next kid says the same Like your Lincoln Sir, then the girls walk by and say Oh I like your Disney shirt and like your Lincoln? I just say that cause even adults don't compliment my Town car and it looks fabulous!! This 2003 Lincoln Town Car has got to be one of the most beautiful cars Ford has ever made I love it!!! It rides like a dream its fast but get great gas mileage 20 city and 30 hwy.

i have marks on my stinger and its from tape or cover before delivery , cant find ant sauitable product to remove these marks
Did you try Barkeepers Friend? Perhaps Goo Gone or Acetone would work?
How’d you apply BKF on the trim? Using a cloth? And did you mix it with water?
Yes with a cloth, no water
100% car wash chemicals and exactly why I’m here 🤦🏻♂️ always wash by cars by hand but decided to be lazy today and what a mistake that was 😂

any headlight/plastic polish will do. Those door and bumper "chrome" trim strips are just plastic. Same as the front grille. The hood trim, pillars and chrome trim under the door and on the fender wells (if equipped) are actual chrome/metal.

Believe me or not chemical Guys water spot removal heavy duty did a amazing job on my trim. Completely brought the shine back to an amazing finish.
