    - 23:47 Baptized in the Red Sea . Pastor, first, I am enjoying your teachings and am learning a lot through them. Question: I am seeking to understand where you get the reference that them going through the red sea means baptism? Isn't baptism to submerge? Is there another bible scripture to support this theory?

    • @AngelsintheGlen
      @AngelsintheGlen  4 роки тому +3

      Thanks for watching our videos and thanks for your question! I think we may have covered it earlier in the lesson but maybe we didn't fully explain it. The scripture is found in 1 Cor 10:1-4.
      1 Corinthians 10:1-4 (NASB) For I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea;
      2 and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
      3 and all ate the same spiritual food; 4 and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ.
      With the cloud above them and the sea on either side of them they were enveloped by water when they passed through the red sea. Its figurative rather than a literal submersion like baptism is performed today. However, it represents a cleansing from Egypt and bondage of slavery to a new life and loyalty to God.
      Thanks for a great question!

    I have always heard and believed the Legs of Iron was the Roman Empire. I just recently watched a video on Daniel 2 that says the legs of Iron was and is the Muslim Nation. They were more wide spread and more dominant than Rome. I'm not sure I believe it, but any comment on this ?

    • @AngelsintheGlen
      @AngelsintheGlen  2 роки тому

      Thanks for you comment and question.
      The idea that Muslim nations (or Islam) is a part of Biblical prophecy - and represent the legs of iron - is a recent error of massive proportion. We mean no disrespect to those who have arrived at that conclusion, but there are too many insurmountable problems.
      If one follows the sequence of kingdoms beginning with Babylon (Nebuchadnezzar: you are the head of gold. Daniel 2:38), Medio-Persia and Greece historically follow. Notice there are no chronological breaks between Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece. They are successive and continuous in the image (head, chest and arms, and belly and thighs) as they are sequential and continuous in history. It’s quite obvious that western civilization affirms Rome as the next empire/kingdom to appear chronologically. There can be no mistake that Rome is the legs of iron.
      How can any serious Bible student skip Rome? After all Rome was the greatest Empire in western civilization. Edward Gibbon (Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire vol. IV, pp. 160-169) even refers to Rome as an [Iron] monarchy without reference to Bible prophecy and he was antagonistic to Christianity.
      And how can one chronologically move from the end of the Greek Empire (which ended in 168 B.C. by Rome at the Battle of Pydna) and move forward in time almost 800 years to 632 A.D. (Mohammed and the birth of Islam)? What happened in between? How can one simply skip over such a great time span and move from the belly and thighs of bronze to the legs of iron with logical integrity or historical consistency?
      You are correct to doubt the veracity of that conclusion.
      While there are many other problems, they need not be entertained until the above scenario is resolved.

      Please consider watching our remaining videos as the Daniel 2 metal man pattern will be repeated in Daniel 7, 8, and 11 with greater detail. The patterns are unmistakable and all additional details do not in any way point to or suggest any prophetic fulfillment with Muslim nations (or Islam).

    Love these videos. Thank you! However, the Stone hitting the statue in Daniel 2 is clearly His first advent. The Holy Spirit asks; "Who is the stone?", "Has He been Here?", "Did He setup a kingdom?". Kingdoms are made of Kings and their people, not buildings or land. The great Mountain is MT Zion, the true people of God, the Church. The Mountain is given the commission to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom into all the world then the end comes and those other kingdoms will remembered no more; Matthew 24:14. You affirm all this with many of your following and other statements/scriptures about the true tabernacle of God. Jesus confirmed His Kingship and mission with Pilate in John 18:37, thus the sign on the cross. We are not of 1John 4:3. GBU

    • @AngelsintheGlen
      @AngelsintheGlen  Рік тому

      First, Thanks for your feedback! Really appreciate it.
      There are several insurmountable problems if one concludes that the stone is the first advent of Christ. Please consider the following thoughts.
      1. Notice in Daniel 2:35 that the metals and the clay were crushed all at the same time. The wind carried them away and not a trace of them was found. If the metals and clay represent successive world kingdoms (i.e. Daniel 2:39-43), then why are there still kingdoms (nations or states) present today? They should all be wiped away if the stone was the first advent.
      2. Notice in Daniel 2:44 that in the days of the kings (of iron and clay) the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will put an end to all the kingdoms of the earth. The same idea is in this verse, ie. that earthly kingdoms will come to an end. Like Daniel 2:35, this is simply not true with the first advent of Christ. Christ’s first advent did not crush and destroy all earthly kingdoms. They still exist today.
      3. Daniel 7 and Daniel 8 repeat the pattern of Daniel 2 and provide more details. Those details give us the point in time of when God would “set up” His everlasting kingdom. The set up is well after the first advent of Christ. Please consider watching our Daniel 7 videos.
      It’s true that both John and Jesus preached that the kingdom of heaven is at hand, Matthew 3:2 and 4:17 respectively. However, that is because Jesus was physically present with us during His brief earthly ministry. Christ is the kingdom. But He/Christ did not destroy all earthly kingdoms at His first advent. In fact, Jesus has to tell a parable in Luke 19:11-27, because His disciples thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear immediately. Jesus counters this notion that He must first go to a distant country (heaven) to receive a kingdom for Himself and then return. This is obviously Christ second coming. And consistent with Daniel 7:13-14 where the Son of Man (Christ) was given a kingdom right before His second advent.
      Even after Christ’s resurrection, the disciples ask in Acts 1:6 if this is the time that He would restore the kingdom to Israel. Jesus dispels any notion that they were to know the times and epochs that the Father set. That’s because it would be revealed at a later time in Church history towards the end of time.
      We address all this and more in our Daniel videos. Please critically examine everything we say. Hold us to the highest Biblical standard and historical integrity. You be the judge.

      @@AngelsintheGlenI really appreciate your response. With all due respect the traditional interpretation ignores key words/descriptions given by Daniel:
      1. Daniel 2 is repeat and enlarge and as you have rightly said, we must also take into consideration history and other scripture to properly interpret. No doubt today the other kingdoms are still remembered as this has to happen according to Dan 2:44-45; "In the days" (not after those days), while the kingdoms are still remembered, while the iron kingdom of Rome still existed, God set up (H6966) His eternal kingdom that will 'break' into mission fields and then 'consume' people out of all those other symbolic kingdoms until the second coming when they will be no more (Revelation 11:15). Undeniably your ministry labors, chipping away at those other kingdoms to add living stones unto Mt Zion.
      Think this through, Who is your King and which kingdom do you now belong to? (Philippians 3:20-21) What is the mountain? (Obadiah 1:17 Joel 2:32 3:17) Where in scripture are the angels ever referred to as a “Great Mountain” or growing out from the Stone? If this refers to the day of harvest at the end of time, then how do the words “break” and ‘Consume’ apply?
      2. Undeniably Christs first advent has set in motion a series of events that will culminate into a great harvest at the end of time. Again, who is 'The Stone' and has He been here? Which of those other kingdoms have any value to you? We are first and foremost 'Christians' comissioned to preach the Gospel of God's "Kingdom" into all the world, then the end will come (Mat. 24:14). Is that not what all your videos are really about? Kingdoms are not made of lands and buildings but people who worship in time, space, spirit and truth. From what kingdom are the servants who are sealed before the close of probation? (Rev 7:3)
      3. Daniel 2 is a chiasm of Daniel 9 where the focus is on the coming Messiah. Yes, 2&9 do continue to the end of time but without details like the ‘deadly wound’ or ‘lamb like beast’. Daniel 7&8 form a chiasm where the focus is on the "little horn", The 'thrones cast down' being the great controversy battle between Christ and His people/kingdom vs. Satan and all other kingdoms seeking world dominance. This battle is the underlying theme of both Daniel and Revelation where the final judgement is given unto the saints! Bible Prophecy reveals God’s love plans to restore His image in mankind. Please consider page one of the chart found here; endtimefaith.org/Danfly4.pdf .
      Matthew 28: 18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
      Truly we are ambassadors of God's Kingdom of love and righteousness and to us all other kingdoms are but chaff waiting to be blown away at the second coming. Its hard to kick against the pricks of present truth. Keep up the good work! and may we all stay in the word and avoid the ruts of tradition.
      GBU, Your brother in Christ

    so you said that, "in the days of those kings" (Dan. 2:44) the Lord will set up His kingdom on the Earth, and then you point out that the kings ended in the mid 1800's. so are we to believe that the kingdom of God that would be set up in the day of those kings was established in the 500's-1800's? It obviously cannot be the Roman Catholic religion because they were established under the Roman rule and reign prior to the day of those kings. and 99% of today's mainstream Christian religions are break offs of that Roman Catholic religion. so can they really count as being the Lord's established kingdom on the Earth, if they came from a religion that was not the Lord's kingdom?! so what other options are there? The Jehovah's witnesses were founded in the late 1800's so they are almost outside the time frame of being during "those kings", and they don't see Christ as being the king of Kings anyway. The Mormons being established in the early 1800's is right at the end of "those kings", and they do purport to be the restoration of God's kingdom in the last days, and they say it will never be removed again. they refer to their church as being the "dispensation of the fullness of times. could this really mean that the Mormon's are the kingdom of God established on the Earth that will never be removed before the 2nd coming of the Lord?! or is there some other religion that matches this time frame that has grown so large that even world governments wouldn't be able to undo it?! or since England still has a Monarchy are we still in the "time of those kings", and therefore the kingdom of God could still yet to be established?

    • @AngelsintheGlen
      @AngelsintheGlen  4 роки тому +2

      Thanks for your question. To clarify, we didn’t say that the kingdom would necessarily be set up on earth per se. It is not an immediate manifestation on earth at that time. Rather, God would set up this kingdom and, first, give this kingdom to Christ in heaven (see Daniel 7:13-14) and also to His saints (see Daniel 7:27) who are by extension the people of God on earth. Soon, the saints will rule and reign at Christ’s second coming and the kingdom will be fully established in the new earth at the end of the 1000 years.
      Note that Jesus Himself would state that His kingdom is not of this world in John 18:36.
      John 18:36 (NASB) 36 Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm."
      The time that God began to set up this kingdom is part of our Daniel 7 and 8 videos and we get into specific details of the prophetic timeline in Daniel 12 and Revelation 10 and 11 videos.
      All of the below scriptures refer to the same time that God began to set up His kingdom.
      Daniel 2:44 (NASB) 44 "In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever.
      Daniel 7:13-14 (NASB) 13 "I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. 14 "And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations and men of every language Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed.
      Daniel 8:14 (NASB) 14 He said to me, "For 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the holy place will be properly restored."
      Revelation 11:14-15 (NASB) 14 The second woe is past; behold, the third woe is coming quickly. 15 Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.”
      Our entire video series go into all these details and much more. Our video series is to guide men and women to understand the events that must take place before Christ returns.
      Thanks for you comment and thanks for watching our videos.
