Great to see Ryder coming into his own , laughing , smiling, talking and hanging with the big boys . We need to see more of him ..........and his projects . Oh yeah Brent, you and Karl did O.K. too. Thanks Guys
I double dated with a friend from high school who had a ‘54 hardtop with three on the tree. Returning to the car with our dates it would not turn over. I pushed it all over the parking lot while he popped the clutch but it wouldn’t start. He finally walked to a phone booth and called his dad. The first thing his dad asked was “did you check the cable to the starter?” We looked at each other while he crawled under the front in and said “try it now.” Started right up!! Our dates were impressed….. with his dad!😂
Nice work on the front-end repairs. Great to watch you and Karl 'working' on stuff. You look like you're having so much fun. The '54 is gonna be one great burnout machine for sure. Look forward to seeing what's next. Be safe and stay well.
The 54 is such a sweeet ride , It looks good standing still , and looks great in motion . Karl is the kind of friend every man should have , he fits in so well with the surroundings and his laughter matches yours so perfectly . Thank you both and all the members in the shop for this update . Stuart in Ontario ..
The 54 ❤... One of my favorite build. Karl thank you for working on that car. . look at the fenders many men worked on that car and we gotta keep that car alive .. let's get a 4 link and a nos bottle on'er and tune that baby to the moon and put a Ford 9 in rear end on that gogetter moonshine runner!
So cool to watch you and Karl work together Brent. It's a shame you guys live so far apart from one another. Nice to see that Pablo and Buddy are so friendly to Karl and he to them.
Nice seeing Ryder out a about, helpin learn watchin 2 great friends trash on old iron, looks like all had good time.good seeing everone, buddy an Palbo are spoiled..lol later
I love your channel and also Karl's. I love it when you guys get together and make awesome content like this! Thankyou Brent for making my evening bright with your videos. Sure beats the Crap out of the garbage on regular TV. ;)
I just missed out on a 54 i was ready to buy. My buddys wake was the day i seen it and by the time it was over she couldnt wait and sold it The aerial drone shots are a great addition to your videos.
Glad you learned to like the Jaguar front suspension. I started working for Jag in 88 and retired from there about 5 years ago. That suspension was used in cars capable of 140mph and even more. It will be interesting to see if the shock mounts clear on on bump. I remember you working on that one in the little garage after the fire. I bet it feels spoilt in it's swanky new surroundings. All the best, Mart in England.
Like watching your videos as it takes me back to my job, only problem every so often I get twitchy fingers, you know like when your wife is driving and you keep braking a pedal that’s not there.
Excellent video Brent :) , Karl :) , Ryder :) , Pablo :) , Buddy :) , also all work on 1954 Car , yes sometimes something go as planned and other ones got have diagrams how work on from internet! I know myself found need information, instructions and how do it too in steps! That how things work for me Brent and be challenging too at times!
Love this video, on a Sunday here Gig Harbor, Washington over 90 degrees today and beautiful outside. Thank you Bret and Karl for sharing. Like, share and please tell your Hot Rod friends. Need 200 K subscribers.
Brent, I really like that 54 . It would make cruiser. Although I'm not really into turbos. I would like to see it painted up , maybe just a quick spray. But thanks for keeping it among the living.
The ride height in the front can easily be lowered by shimming the lower spring cup. A lot of those clips both front and rear were assembled as module in the US and shipped to the assembly plant in England when FORD owned Jag.
Brent when are you getting back to the GMC roadster?
Just finishing up the 54 quick to get some road miles on er then be back on the gmc.
Brent you and Carl have fun together that's great to see 2 men without egos.
Great to see Ryder coming into his own , laughing , smiling, talking and hanging with the big boys . We need to see more of him ..........and his projects . Oh yeah Brent, you and Karl did O.K. too. Thanks Guys

I like Karl's comment about the idle!!
I hope the coolant didn't damage the main or rod bearings.
Nah oil pressure rocks and it didn't get driven much.
Oh my goodness! That thing is AWSOME!!!👍
Bye Karl, thanks for the Assist!
Hi Brent, I’m sure Pablo is asking to drive the 54, he’s trying to squeeze you out. Great to see you all. Hello Esther too.
Brent, if you've "loved" the Jag XJ's front calipers, you'll love even more the rear one (inboard brakes : really fun)

Jaguar built that front suspension 50 years before Ford owned it
